LEGO's 'Seasonal' line of sets come out during various major holidays every year. These include Christmas, Easter and Valentine's Day to name a few. Current LEGO 'Seasonal' listings... Some of the Seasonal sets, like 10216(Winter Village Bakery) and 10222(Winter Village Post Office) have 'appreciation' written all over them if you take into consideration how another discontinued 'Winter' set has appreciated. Winter Toy Shop 10199 The Winter Toy shop is up 52% from MSRP since 2009. Not bad. Maybe these other 'Winter' sets will follow the same course.

So looking at the releases on The Brick Fan, and it shows a new Winter Toy Shop on the horizon next year. I personally think it is a bit disappointing, as there are more areas that surely could have been explored. Sounds like the next Winter Village set is going to be a Market. No other information as yet, but the source is never wrong.

A seemingly credible source on EB says that the 2016 Winter Village Seasonal set will be a new Christmas Train. We haven't had a decent real train in a while, and with last year's rehash set there are Winter Village collectors eager for something new. If they do this set well, it will be an investment winner due to the double category demand. If you are still hanging onto 10173's you may want to sell off any stock before the official announcement and pictures.

I'm not too familiar with these wall pieces. Are these used in a lot of city or creator sets? They look pretty cool and I'm just trying to calculate any factors that would make this promo more valuable than train promo. Thanks.

In the back of the instructions for the Valentine's Day Dinner set, there was this picture showing the next possible small seasonal set of a diorama. No official name just yet same as the other for a few days but it appears to be another couple this time decorating the eggs for Easter. Just noticed this will have some dark red masonry bricks which is fantastic in my opinion.

I was scrolling through ebay and happened to look up the upcoming charles dickens promo, I did find a seller who happened to have 10 of them. Anyway I had a look through some of the items this person was selling and came across this Lego 40416 Ice Skating promo which I haven't seen before. It seems to me that by now we should either have leaked info/images of Halloween 2014 sets/polybags or we should have a "coming soon" entry at Lego.com. I base this on the fact that last year Lego started selling the 40055 pumpkin on August 31 and the year before was much the same. So, we are two weeks away from when they would normally release the set and there is not any info I cn find. Has anyone found anything out that I haven't been able to find with trusty Googling?
