[MOC] M:Tron Mining Base

This is my first build that I will share with you! The M:Tron Mining Base!

The Story

The mine supplies the galaxy with all the Brickonium found in these mountains. The base has operated for quite some time now without any Blacktron interference. The Classic Space Command Center has sent a Galaxy Explorer to check up and make sure everything is running smoothly. The magnetic crane is loading the freighter with the precious crystal, as the satellite towers control air flight and help the freighters leave the atmosphere safely.

The Build

The build took me about 25 to 30 hours to complete over the course of 10 to 12 days. I had a blast! The mountain scape was slightly difficult at the corners, and the base was a little tricky to get smooth with the mountain as well. Over all I had so much fun designing every little detail and feature and of course choosing the minifigures for the set.

Below, you can see the photos I have taken.

First up! The main image. This shot shows most of the model.

This one is of the side. It's slightly easier to see all the action. I really like how you can see the freighter leaving the base.

This shot gives a clear view of the back. There are those greedy Blacktrons who might be trying to cause some trouble! The satellite towers are easier to see too.

Up next, the top view! This shot kind of gets everything, doesn't it?

MTron_Mining_Base_7.jpg

This one is an up-close of the magnetic crane loading the freighter. No M:Tron build would be complete without magnets!

Now here you can see the mine shaft. All the mine cars are traveling to and from it with loads of Brickonium.

And finally, the minifigures! The best part of the build (in my opinion). There are two M:Trons, a blue Classic Space astronaut, and a Blacktron.

Thank you so much for reading! I appreciate it! See you in the next one!

Nice renders. The mountain scape feels reminiscent of the Classic Space crater baseplate but more realized as a tall peak range fit for a mining operation with tiny specks of green crystals poking out. All of those roller skate pieces made wonder if that piece actually came out in red. Turns out yes, and a currently available set includes eight.

Far out build.

Thank you very much @TheOrcKing! I never thought of the plate looking similar, but now that you mention it, it kind of does! Yeah, it's a piece that I remember instantly from the Speed Champions line, but those appeared in gold. Thanks again!
