When they are banning people are they looking at your in store purchases in addition to your online purchases?

Use this thread for questions and discussion about buying from LEGOLAND Parks and Discovery Centers. What should I look for at legoland? I'll be going there for the first time this weekend. I have no idea what to expect. Do they have a store and clearance items, like at a regular Lego shop?

I'm signed into the US LEGO Shop at Home website but my VIP info and points are not coming up. Is anyone else having the same issue? I'm kind of freaking out at the moment hoping that I haven't been hit with the banhmmer.

Starting a feed for this it. I would imagine we should have something to talk about in 6-8 weeks! How is it shipped? Disappointment or excitement? I just received this warning email from Shop at Home. I guess they don't like my business of 50x DC Funhouse and the like. Should I be worried and/or change any buying habits/practices? If banned does a new credit card do the trick? How do they know that my kids don't have a ton of friends and the Funhouse is our go to standard birthday gift? I had my Lego account blocked today. I have been ordering a fair amount in the last couple of weeks.... 4 or 5 of a couple of sets. Other than than, nothing to speak of? Did I do something wrong? why was I blocked?

For example, I bought some City Garage sets for $96 through the online store. Now, the online store shows the set is sold out and the sale price is $59.98. Can I go to a Lego store and return the set and buy at the new sales price? Just wondering, because several recently sold out sets have ridiculously low sales prices on lego.com. thanks!

Does anyone know when this will be officially announced? I am hoping they don't wait until the last minute, as I would like to plan upcoming purchases. I would think that it would be either the Fairground Mixer or Ghostbusters Ecto-1. Are there any other sets it could be?

I haven't really made purchases at the Lego store, and I see people mention double VIP point days. Just wondering how often Lego has these double point days? I'm going to make a purchase in store in the near future and want to maximize the number of points I earn!

I (and I'm sure a lot of you) received an email today about upcoming changes to the VIP Program that will begin in about 2 months. The section I found most interesting is this: "In the coming months, we’ll be launching an online rewards center that will introduce some new ways to earn and spend VIP points." I know it probably won't amount to much, but it would be interesting to see some sort of program that allows you to purchase VIP exclusive sets through the rewards center. I've noticed at least a few occasions where people post about returning sets they bought on clearance elsewhere to their local LEGO Store for full retail store credit. Then in the daily deals thread on the first, several people were saying how they had or were going to return their Cottages to rebuy at the lower sale price. I'm not looking to crucify anyone here, but I'm genuinely interested in peoples' thoughts on these practices, especially the people who are doing it. What do you think of the practice? In general, most sets seems to have a 5 per order limit. I've seen within various threads mentions of being black-listed and such. If an item has no (99) limit, should I be hesitant to buy 99 in one shot? I'm looking to potentially stock pile 100+ of some sets as investments to supplement by everyday Amazon selling of toys/games/trading cards. It seems that LEGO Shop at Home's system can now keep track of previous orders in relations to the qtn limits. Ie: If you buy 5x D.O. today, you cannot order 5 more D.O. tomorrow. Well your second order will go through, but the system will cancel your order shortly. Is this something that have been implemented lately? If so, when do they reset the limit?

Why does it seem that at every Lego store there is one worker/manager who always hates on people who they believe to be resellers....When I walk in to my local one the manager is always whispering to the other employees and looking straight at me.. At my local lego store I went up to pay for a Grand emporium and ponytail (San Mateo CA store) told me I couldn't get a Martian Manhunter because it is one per person..They accused me of buying a pet shop (I never did) about a week ago. /Rant over. lol
