A while ago i build the 10221 SSD and also posted it somewhere around here. In my mind i thought it would be a nice idea to decorate it with small Tie-Fighters and a micro Tantive, Tie Bomber. Every brick for this arrived today. I am dissapointed with the result myself but i decided to share it here anyway. It was dark outside, photos are kinda darkish. Sorry for that.

A rather unique book by DK Publishing primarily focusing on 'the dark side' will be due for release in September. No clues as to the exclusive minifigure but hopefully this one shall not be a retro release of a disappointment like a certain other recently released compendium. Anywho, here is the pre-order page on Amazon for anyone to bookmark for later. ....No, that wasn't an intentional pun. via The Brick Fan

Lego posted this event on Facebook about building a mini Ghost ship. Looks like Ghost ship on 10/11 and Bat Signal on 10/18. Perhaps the Bat Signal can guide the Ghost Ship. https://www.facebook.com/events/275621232637987/

Decided to give in and spend a chunk load of money on this set. Used and in good condition, Will be doing a stop motion build on this once I can verify all the pieces and sort them out. Whatever you read about this set regarding the size nothing will prepare you for it! once you get it!! This is a huge set and the number of bags is overwhelming to say the least. It is a true monster of a set! worth every $ I paid for it. Enjoy!!

Hi, Have a load of Star Wars minifigures to sell - mainly separated from a large tub of loose lego I don't have time to sort into sets etc. Was just looking for some advice on the best way to sell them to maximise profit (though taking account of time factor - printing and packing individually for

What does evereyone think of this set? I am thinking about purchasing one from local CL ad. I have made the mistake of purchasing a few SW sets at secondary market prices, only to find that they already hit the proverbial ceiling and basically just take up space! I wonder how much higher this one can go? Thoughts??

Just though that if somebody has Star Wars ships on display, it might be kinda neat to have blueprint posters hanging behind them. There is this set of books - ISBN 0756699894, which includes a set of posters. I believe these ones are from there: This is interesting as well, though I am not sure from which book exactly it is.

Check out this 'oh-so-unique' minifigure. It was a promotion from Toys R Us in Hong Kong where the first 150 customers who spent more than HK$1200 on 2014 sets got one of three random polybags. Eurobricks

I have a feeling Star Wars Anakin's Jedi Interceptor 9494 is nearing EOL. I don't think they'll be in Target stores anymore and once they sell out on the website, they're gone from Target. I did see that Lego S@H was still selling them.

I've been perusing lots and lots of discussion regarding the big ticket sets of the SSD, DS, UCS R2D2 and whether or not they are a good idea to buy now, due to speculation that the EOL dates must be approaching soon this year, due to reasons such as a) already having had a long lifespan/two+ year lifespan b ) the increase in high range sets (New UCS X-Wing, etc.) as well as the incoming UCS Sandcrawler and expected Slave I displacing them soon c) various employee rumors (*chuckles*) and out-of-stock scares across various retailers. What I haven't seen anyone talk about in depth is the effect of the future JJ Abrams Star Wars movie on the lifespan of current sets. I…

Anyone else remember this quirky movie related breakfast oddity? Introduced in 1984 only to be discontinued shortly afterwards was a cereal composed of "twin rings phased together for two crunches in every double-O". I never had a chance to taste it myself considering I was just born at the time but way I heard it was basically two Cheerios stuck together I think. Anyway, I recall hearing about this cereal before years ago growing up to then forget about it as time went by until I stumbled across this amusing commercial. Revel in the 80's, fellow dudes and dudettes.

They still have them at the brick and mortar Barnes and Noble for 30% off (plus another 10% if you are a rewards member.) Total of about 79.35 a pop...what do you think? This is one of the larger sets that i just haven't seen much discussion about... Regards-

This isn't a investment question but similar in nature. I've been looking at getting these sets just for myself, not for investment purposes.: Jabba's Sail Barge 75020 $88.41 Jek-14's Stealth Starfighter 75018 $59.44 AT-TE 75019 $66.31 Do you think now is a good time to get them, or will there be chances to get these cheaper still? I've collected for a while, but never really paid attention to any sale cycles until more recently. I noticed the JB Sail Barge and AT-TE have been on sale for a while. Jek-14s Fighter seems to be getting a bit cheaper more recently. Like I said, I just want them for my collection, and still NIB, but as cheap as possible.

Found three shelves full of Star Wars Planet Sets from Series 1 (9674, 9675, 9676) for $4.96 each on clearance at Target. What does anyone think about the investment potential of these sets? I see that 9674 is valued higher than the others - not sure why. Anyway, I bought about three of each. Any info. would be appreciated.

I have a question and perhaps someone more experienced could help me out: I picked this up NISB in brilliant condition for $195 and don't know whether to hold, build (heh), sell or perhaps trade it here if someone was looking for it. I lean towards sell it short term or trade it but am struggling with this decision as it may be in the $350 range before a new model comes out and I have never owned an AT-AT model so I don't know what to expect with updated versions. Thanks for any help (:
