75014 Battle of Hoth. What's the Point? This set doesn't exactly have a bad piece count and the new Snowtroopers, Luke and Rieekan are nice, but why did TLG release this set? There have been a million battle of Hoth sets, many of which have been quite recent, and this one doesn't really have anything unique about it. However, do you people think that it will do well as an investment because it is a hard to find item and because of the minifigs, or if it will flop because of the fact that it really brings nothing new to the table.

Hello everyone, I'm not really new to the site but this is my first time posting, anyway I believe that the Stormtrooper is becoming somewhat rare in comparison to some other Star Wars figures, but let me explain. I'm not saying they aren't as rare as the Cloud City Boba Fett, but my point here is we haven't seen a battle pack with just Stormtroopers ever since 2007. We've received one battle pack, with one Stormtrooper, and now it's discontinued. Heck, even the new Death Star Troopers battle pack has Royal Guards instead of Stormtroopers, making Royal Guards (Or at least this variant of them) easier to get compared to the Empire's most basic lackey. Even in the new…

Ok so I'm seeing those smallish star wars sets in TRU like 9678 and for the world of me I cannot figure out what is the function and purpose of this differently colored orbs, spheres whatever they are. Is this a x-mas tree ornament? I can't figure out the purpose of it. Can anyone enlighten me. Thanks.

So star wars has hit the shelves with another batch of remakes, GGWB would have been ok but there is no Boga! So many of these star wars sets are duds that will never make any decent return, so why do people invest in them so much?

I left several of these on the shelves at 30% off. ($14 and $62 respectively). I have several of the Fury ships I got at 50% off during Kmart clearance, and I am just not convinced that at 30% there'll be enough gains, and the Cannon seems like it has been out a long time, and probably isn't that popular. Any thoughts? Should I just grab them anyway?

Not sure if anyone has talked about this one but there is a limited edition Anakin and two other mini figs available from Amazon for $30. Seems pretty rare and only a few recent sales on eBay. Thinking about buying a couple - any thoughts on the investment potential for this 3 minifigure set?

This sounds pretty awesome, with origin stories for Yoda and Boba Fett expected after that. If the Falcon isn't part of Episode VII, it will certainly be featured heavily in Solo's origin movie since we need to see him win it, do the Kessel Run and smuggle stuff. http://moviepilot.com/articles/1202864-disney-moving-forward-with-star-wars-origin-story-due-to-land-in-2016 Now the big question - when to unload the UCS Falcons? If they don't release another Falcon, those things could be ridiculous. Of course, if they do make anything similar, the old ones could take a big hit...

I wonder how many are just sitting in MISBs? I have a few sets that could potentially have one but not so sure I want to rip into them to find out, any thoughts???

I know in recent years, amazon and Toys R Us have had the new 2014 sets prior to christmas. I have not seen or heard anything yet. Does anyone know if they will be offered again this year? Not for collecting or investing purposes, just to make 2 cute boys even happier this christmas. Any info would be great! Thanks

Am I wrong, or has Red Leader never had a Lego appearance? How is this possible?

7931...is worth it? First let me start by saying thanks to all the people who share their information on here. I have scored some pretty sweet deals over the past year that I would have otherwise been completely oblivious to, simply by following this site regularly. My question... My wife dragged me to the bookstore today where I killed some time by scouting their LEGO section. Found a couple of these 7931 at 50% off retail. I have no personal interest in this set because these animated clone wars minifig faces give me the creeps but from an investment standpoint I was wondering if I should go back and pick these up. H…

Browsing around eBay I bumped into some Star Wars minifig polybags. I started doing some research and wondering if they are good investments given how long these have been out there - not to mention that this is a minifigure we are talking about. The polybags I think that I could jump on are: Chrome C3PO Chrome Vader Chrome Stormtrooper Shadow ARF Trooper White Boba Fett From these, the Chrome Vader is the one fetching the most, as expected. I don't see much room for growth for these sets polybags but would like your input as I feel tempted to jump in.

Taking everything into account (possible new Falcon models in the future, controversy surrounding Jabba's Palace, previous version of Sail Barge).

So I just bought a sealed Target combo pack of sets 7144(slave 1) and 7110(Landspeeder) at a garage sale for $71 both MIB. I know its at basicly market value but I have not seen the combo pack on ebay. I was wondering if this gave it any extra value or did I just buy both sets at mp? sorry about the bad quality picture its the only one I could find online. http://www.toysperiod.com/lego-set-reference/star-wars/star-wars-episodes-4-5-6/lego-vp-2-star-wars-co-pack-of-7110-and-7144/ Thanks in advance

7655 Clone Trooper Battle Pack at Wal-Mart.com I was checking the wal-mart app this morning and found this battle pack back in stock online at $13.00. I missed out on them before they sold out everywhere. It would only let me add 1 with no site to store shipping so it ended up costing $19 with tax and shipping. Obviously more than I wanted to spend but I think my daughter will like this set for building the clone army.

Anyone have any guesses of which Lego Star Wars sets are going EOL soon? I am looking at the Millennium Falcon 7965 and Super Star Destroyer 10221 in particular.

I just got back into Lego since I was a kid, I'm in college now. My collection is purely lego Star Wars but I guess my question is which of the 2012/2013 sets should I buy and keep sealed for future sale before they are retired. I have most clone 2012 and 2013 sets but the thing is I opened them and I'd have a hard time selling some of them because I want them for my collection. Before they are retired what should I buy duplicates of to keep sealed? I'm thinking the mandalorian speeder because of darth maul, I obviously want to keep mine. What else? Suggestions anyone? Probably another desert skiff but I'm inexperienced on the investment side of things so I could use some…

I'm looking into maybe purchasing one of these. One is UCS, the other looks more like a play set. Does anyone here have input as to which set is a better, more difficult, fun build? I'm also interested in the 10195 Dropship but I've seen a few reviews say it's fragile and breaks easy so the Tantive may be my next purchase.

Was at my local store yesterday and these were listed on sale. In my experience, anytime the lego store has something on sale, it's done. The LOTR Attack on Weathertops were also listed on sale.

Ok I need some opinions on this one... I found a local sale in my area for a sealed (but damaged box) Jango Fett's Slave 1 I checked eBay and this is a good seller/rare set going > $200 for sealed packages but open box. Even the Jango figure itself is > $50. Here's a pic of the box, but based on what price I can get it for...I might pull the trigger regardless Thoughts?

It is the single most amazing thing I have ever seen. I just don't think, even at the number of pieces, I ever really appreciated how massive this thing is. It's insane. I have a Tower Bridge which is just over 4.2K pieces, but its half the size. I have never seen the Taj Mahal, but there is just no wonder that this is the Holy Grail in terms of Price (not necessarily gain). Sadly, the person who showed it to me has really fallen out of Lego and has it in his attic (Along with other sets probably worth 10-15K). I am trying to talk him into letting me display it at my house (I am sort of family, cousin by marriage). I think I would design a whole room ar…
