So now that Disney has taken over Star Wars Lego, we have seen their start up line of new sets. There are many people talking about overpricing, and the speculation of resurrecting some old sets example: is the Naboo Starfighter a sign of Disney bringing back old retired sets? They definitely have the ability to flood the market and make any new or old sets at any time they want, and for as long or short as they choose. Disney has the resources to overproduce, this could hurt the new sets for collecting, investing, and re-selling. Disney will not care about helping anyone but themselves and making money off the fans & children any way possible. It surely could add val…

Disclaimer: if I should've attached this to another post, let me know moderators! I recently bought two episode 7 Lego sets, Poe's X-Wing and the Millenium Falcon. However, I still thinking about getting one or two more. So, I thought I would ask what other people consider to be on their must have list for episode 7 from most to least desirable? Here is mine: 1. Poe's X wing 2. millenium falcon 3. Either Kylo Rens command shuttle or First Order Transporter 4. first order tie fighter 5. Rey's speeder 6. Snow speeder

How cheap did Luke's landspeeder get on clearance? Simple question. I saw these were selling cheaper than the retail price they are available for on walmart.com. After seeing how many are selling and how cheap they are selling, I was wondering how cheap you guys were able to pick them up for after Christmas. I can't believe there is much profit in these right now. The cheapest I saw after Christmas was $17.00 but I know every Walmart does clearance differently.

I would but not because its gonna be a huge winner but because its a cool set. This set will see some return but not a huge one in my opinion. I like the box art and think it would be fun to build I say I think because I have never built a LEGO set, I just buy them ha ha ha!

Recently picked up a bunch of 75078 Imperial Troop Transport at $9.00 each from Walmart, my question is should I quickly flip them or hang on to them? already have flipped 2 at MRSP and am debating on the rest. Pros: Includes 4 Regular Stromtroopers, great for army building. Never saw a glut of them at any one time, thinking demand for them could be pretty good. Cons: Ship is pretty bland, while with some modifications it could be fixed up still I think it downs the value a bit. Any ideas?

This set just got retired a few weeks ago, and already prices have skyrocketed to over $100 ($50 over MRSP). I have a few ideas why this set is going to be gold in the future. 1. Unlikely to be remade, this set was clone wars specific (with a brief appearance in rebels) and I just have a gut feeling this wont be made again. 2. its appearance in Rebels further advances its value in the future, as it now can be assumed that this is the standard imperial gunship. 3. its build is impressive, I got really lucky and found this for $50 on TRUs ebay (it sold out within minutes), and it is an impressive angular build. 4. Short production run, li…

Any thoughts on whether this set is just OOS for the holidays or whether it's nearing the end? Amazon hasn't had it in stock in at least a month, walmart.com and target.com have been OOS for a while. I haven't seen one in target for a while either.... Also, any thoughts on the value of this set if it were to go EOL?

Did a search and did not see a thread for this amazing UCS set. I've seen a few sealed/NIB 7191s on various sales forums. Prices seem steady at around $1500+. Would you pull the trigger at this price point for a NIB 7191?

This is to keep an ongoing list of Star Wars sets that go in and out of stock at Lego.com to help people get an insight to when something might be hitting EOL. Let's try and keep it to sets that have at least been out in the market for at least 8 months. ----------------------- MTT went out of stock on Saturday, June 6th 2015. This is the second time i've noticed it go out of stock within a month. First time was during the May the 4th event when it was discounted for the event.. Ewok Village went out of Stock on Saturday, June 6th, 2015 and is listed as OOS Will ship in 30 days. This is the second time this year it has gone out of stock, with the first time being d…

Now that Episode 7 is approaching I thought it would be fun and informational if we share some of our favorite sets. What is your top 5-10 list of Star Wars sets of all time? Please include set names if you don't mind (for newer investors like me). Hopefully these lists will reveal some sets some of us have overlooked. My top 5 would probably be: 1. 10179 M. Falcon 2. 10188 Death Star 3. 10221 Super Star Destroyer 4. 75060 Slave 1 5. 10225 R2 6-10 would be Red 5, Ewok Village, Sandcrawler, Tantive IV, Darth Tie I'm probably missing out on some awesome older sets...hopefully some veteran collectors share their list of favorites.

Right now walmart.com has lego 9525 mandalorian fighter at $39.97. normal price is $50. Since this is a walmart exclusive I don't think this set will ever go any lower at walmart or lego.com. I know it could be 1-2 years before eol. But should I buy now hoping for it to be a good investment, Or are there just too many other good investments right now. I value the brickpicker community opinions. Thanks

Have you ever wondered "What would it be like if Jar Jar were to experience death each day all 365 of them in a single year?" then look no further than this currently ongoing project by Eurobricks member Dr Spock 888 over at his Flickr gallery. Jar Jar having a bad year NOTE: At the time of this posting date, it was on Day 99 so be sure to check back every other day at least once to see the new death of Jar Jar.
