Hi, I recall reading speculation of an update of this set and I am considering buying a used one, mostly to rebuild and display but I wanted some feedback on if the set is as impressive as it looks in photos. It seems that some remakes/updates affect prices of older sets and some don't, so any insight into that would help my decision making process (I certainly don't need to display both if a new one is released). I launched the Lego Star War Rebels Imperial Assault Carrier a few days ago. Filming the new City Square right now. Yesterday I purchased the Deep Sea Exploration Vessel.

Did a search and found no discussion thread on this set, I'm after thoughts on this set by BP members .

I would like maybe 4-5 first order stormtroopers just to fill out the FO Troop Transport. But they sell for about £5 each on eBay at the moment. Or I would need to buy two battle packs to achieve this quantity... Is it likely that they'll drop in price with the 2017 wave of Starwars sets? How can I get them as cheap as possible?

I've recently been on the hunt for rare star wars minifigures, not for investment purporses but manily to add more depth to my collection. On my journey I have paid up to $100 NZD for a used SW053 Jango Fett & nearly $80 NZD for a used Zam Wessel. Recently purchased a brand new sealed retired set 9499 Gungan Sub because it was cheapest way to obtain a brand new sealed SW387 Queen Amidala. Darth Malgus is another bad ass looking investment minifig. Polybags are getting up there too, e.g Darth Revan and Chrome Vader and Stormtrooper are commanding high price points. 30277 First Order Star Destroyer just showed up tonight on the Brickset database. No info yet about the set. Based on the set number, I'm guessing not a UCS? Could spell retirement for 75055.

Hi all, Probably a newbie question (I've searched the forums but haven't found an answer) so I hope you don't mind me asking... The TIE Advanced Prototype is currently $59.99 (Australian dollars) on the Lego Store and can be found in stores such as Kmart for even less on occasion. So I'm wondering, why are many Australian ebay sellers asking for over $100 for the set? How can anyone try to sell a set for so much when it is easily available in stores? Do these sellers actually move the product? Thanks all!

The AT DP is now retired. The box is substantial, and it's not a bad part count, but it just doesn't do it for me for some reason. I bought two of these sets along with a few Wookie Gunships, a Ghost and some First Order snow speeders. bought it originally to go with the AT AT as a package deal, but I don't think it does now. Should I return it with the Gunships and the ghost? I would roll the money back into 10240's I think.

Hey Guys! So a couple months ago i started the long painful process of brickbuilding the 10179. I had many of the parts already from having a very large collection of light gray pieces, and i had been starting to really see the imperfections and scale issues with my 7965 Falcon on display (granted it's not a display model by any means, but it was better than spending thousands for the 10179). 7965 was also the set that brought me out of the dark ages.
