I just wanted to share a thought i had, and see if you all agree / disagree, what-have-you. Hasbro has raised the price of the classic 3.75" star wars figure from 9.99 to 12.99 The fact that they're already 9.99 may surprise the casual action figure fan as they were 1.99 in the olden days, 4.99-5.99 in the POTF2 days, and now moving from 9.99 to 12.99 as we transition to Episode 7. That's a HUGE increase. 30%. If there's ONE figure i'm dying to get, sure i'll pay the 13 bucks (plus tax), but if you want to buy say, all 20-50 new figures that come out in a wave / year,,,,,that's a HUGE increase. Many are openly saying 'they're done'. They'll never pay 13 bucks for ONE st…

Hi guys, Ive been doing an inventory of all my sets and I came across a large quantity of each of these sets. 20 of the 7655 and 17 of the 7654. Approx half of the sets have some sort of damage unfortunately.......light creasing and scuffing, but only a cpl are really pinched hard. I was wondering the best way to move some of these and what to expect as far as $$$. It seems to me that the selling price is all over the place so Im not sure what to ask, especially for the ones with damage on the packaging. One of the hardest things for me is evaluating how much a slight ding scratch or dent effects the sets value. Im a collector of many things an…

The latest price guide update is still running (actually has a while to go). I always pick a few sets to go through and look at the data manually and run it ahead of time to see how the crawlers did. The price guide update will include all of May as well as June listings up to June 23rd. This will at least catch us up and get some of you a little more current than we were. I will update the other days next week sometime when the rest of June is available. Anyhow, the #10179 actually it the $4,000 mark last month and is still holding for June as well. I guess this could be because the latest version of the the Falcon is not a UCS killer. I also see that the SSD is …

I've been picking up a lot of battle packs at MSRP recently as I've been getting free Stormtrooper Sergeants with each purchase. Selling the Stormtrooper Sergeants has meant that I'm in profit and still have the battle packs, but I was wondering had anyone any ideas on how to maximise the return on the battle packs. Should I just sell them off individually, probably being lucky to get MSRP without holding onto them for ages, or would I be better breaking out the packs and selling batch loads of troopers.

I know the picture is lousy but so far the best known currently. Anyway it's good to finally have a new TIE Fighter polybag after years of the same one.

Do you guys think after the re-release of the UCS X-Wing and now the UCS Tie Fighter that a UCS Darth Vader Tie might be coming along in 2017?

According to this article on ToyNews reported by The Brick Fan, we can expect to see more sets in the future for years perhaps generations even to come. LEGO believes the success of LEGO Star Wars as a property in its own right means the brand will

Thoughts on these minifigures? The imperial gunners were in Episode 4 and the royal guards (red) were in Episode 2,3,6... The imperial gunners are only in this set... as for the royal guards they were in a few other sets (another design because this one is a redesign). People collecting minifigs for army build seems to enjoy these limit gunners and guards. Interesting when they are at discount? Thanx

Thoughts on the Star Wars 75078 for army build. I you can buy these at almost 50 % discount, deal or no deal. Will people want those Rebels stormtroopers in the future?

Hi all, Would like your thoughts on UCS 10143 Death Star II vs 10188 Death Star (play-set) First off I'm a collector/builder and don't really plan on investing or selling my Star Wars IV-VI sets. I have nine UCS sets already. Plus a selection of play-sets from starting from 2010 to current range. I like both these sets. "Buy both you I hear you say"? lol But I don't really want to double up. Should I just buy play-set version for the mini-figs & pure fun of having Death Star ? Or should I take the plunge & invest in the UCS Death Star II? What are you thoughts? Help me make an informed decision!

I thought about selling my 6211 for a new 75055 ISD, but changed my mind after seeing a comparison video. While the 75055 seems to be a sturdier build, mine is for display only. So I decided to add a little to the sides. What do you think? Comments/suggestions?

Hey guys! I don't know if y'all remember but a year ago I did a series of MOCs for Star Wars when I was bored without school for like 2 weeks due to snow. You guys gave great feedback, and I really appreciated. So now it's back! Except for only one installment. The new AAT came out and it kinda stinks. It's really bulky and has no detail. So I decided to make my own. Tell me what you think. If I ever do make this the front part will have the printed missile pods piece from the 1999 version. Some details are the back opens up to the bottom compartment and the middle opens up to by the green disc. Also the top opens up for the top compartment, but in a different way. The la…

I've seen stock of these disappearing and is no longer at Australian SAH. I really like this set and my local dept store has a couple still laying around, but at retail price (39 bucks here down under) A worthy investment? What do you think? IMO it's a nice set and 501 trooper is rare. I only have one set atm. And is it already EOL? Please don't flame me for my noobness.

Just like the title reads, here is the link. 35.80 shipped (depending on if sale tax is applicable where you live)! Personal favorite ship of mine, best price I've seen it at. Happy Hunting!

I've always thought that the C3P0 minifigs have been awful and below the normal Lego standard. But the one that comes with the Sandcrawler set is awesome. Has anyone heard whether or not that new C3P0 model will be issued in future sets? I really want it but can't afford the Sandcrawler set right now. And I don't want to pay $60 for one mini fig.

Title says it all, but this purchase is more for collecting/building than for investing. I like both trilogies but I lean towards the old trilogy. Can't decide even after reading lots of reviews which one is a better buy. Thanks.
