Which do you prefer and why would be nice to see. I myself prefer old trilogy sets simply because they feel more iconic, but that may be just me since i grew up watching Star Wars and renting it every weekend watching it (together with Jurassic Park)

Just wondering where you can buy some of the SW 3 in 1 sets. I looked on LEGO Shop at Home and they aren't there. They are on eBay and Amazon though, for rediculous prices. Want to get my hands on a few, but not sure what a good price is and where to get them... Any help would be great.....

I found this recently at MSRP, is it worth it? It hasn't appreciated a ton since EOL. Thoughts?

I know people have said that if you buy a Jabba's Palace you should get a Rancor Pit to go with it and vice versa, but I was wondering if you guys were going to do the same thing with Jabba's Sail Barge and Dessert Skiff. This may be able to raise the value of the Skiff when people are looking to complete this scene and need all of the characters and the Sarlacc. I don't have the money to buy these things, but would it be a good idea to buy all four of the Jabba sets and sell them all together in a few years? It would be very pricey but super awesome to complete this epic segment of star Wars! Thoughts?

With the release of the new Yoda/Dooku duel this summer, there will be five Lego Yodas, (including Santa Yoda.) Does anyone think that this is too many or it will hurt the Yoda secondary market? Having the original Yoda myself, I certainly don't want them resurecting him in a new set after eight years, but at the same time, I'm apprehensive that the new one may hurt the original's value, (since they look so similar.)

I was thinking that TLG may be releasing all of these Attack of the Clones sets in correlation to the release of the Attack of the Clones in 3-D, assuming they release it as a follow-up to The Phantom Menace in 3-D. I like the new Attack of the Clones sets, even though they are remakes, and hope for more next year. It would be nice if Lego made Kamino sets like a cloning room and Jango Fett's Slave 1, and a remake of Zam Wessel's speeder or Padme's senatorial starship. A new Zam Wessel would be awesome, even though it wouldbe impossible to improve upon her. This may all be a conspiricy theory, but we can still dream. :)

I know this is related to another recent thread about Battle Packs, but I decided to post this as a new thread anyways. What does everyone think of: Old Republic Battle Packs with Sith Troopers and Republic Troopers, vs. Original Trilogy Battle Packs with Clone Troopers, Droids, Rebel Troopers, Storm Troopers, etc. Which do people think will do better once EOL? I came up with a reason why NOT Old Republic: since they are not in the movies, they have less publicity, and therefore are less recognizable to a 8 year-old boy walking down the toys aisle, as oppose to the Clone Troopers. Who doesn't recognize them on…

The Lego StarWars theme is full of starfighters $45 to $55 in price range, and It seems that every time something is brought up about one a whole StarWars turf war is brought up on which one is best! I personally like the Z-95 and Old Republic Striker Class, but everybody has different opinions. I am interested in all the different views on these sets, and it seems that no matter where I go every respected StarWars collector has one, so this discussion should get very heated! My top three: 1. Z-95 Headhunter ($50) 2. Old Republic Striker Class Starfighter ($45) 3. Gold Leader's Y-Wing ($50)

I was wondering what the feeling is regarding the last set of retired Star Wars sets and their investment potential. The pod race, republic frigate etc. While still readily available and not too high, would it be a mistake to grab up a few more?

Any reason why Lego changed Star Wars set numbers to start in the 70000s? Will Ucs still start with 10***?

I have the chance to get a few Star Wars UCS sets including the heavily sought after MF. The asking price is 3400 for all but they said they are flexible, what are your thoughts? I have never bought anything that was EOL, just not sure how much more they will increase. Here is their discription: 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner - 1747 parts. Released in 2001. 100% complete with original instructions but no box. Stickers are neatly applied and in very good condition. Set was displayed for a brief time and may have light dust on some elements. Elements are in very good condition. 10026 Naboo Starfighter - 187 parts. Released in 2002. 100% complete with original instru…

Thoughts here for both investing and collecting... I have a 8129 I picked up a couple of years ago. Box is not perfect, has some creasing, but nice seals, etc. This set has shot up quite a bit into the $250 range on eBay. (I got it for $90 or so I think) Local baseball card store near me has a 4483, listed for $199. The box is a bit worn, and has a popped seal on the side. I guess all pieces/bags are unopened though. I can probably talk him down to $175, if not maybe a bit lower (if I buy the Vampyre Castle he has for $80 as well). Soooo....better long term investment? The popped seal dings the set a bit, doesn't it? 4483 has less minifigs, but 200 more pieces an…

Shadow ARF Trooper - Sell or Hold? I'm sure many of you have a couple of these, were a free minifig from LEGO Shop at Home a year or two ago. Going in the neighborhood of $25-$30 right now. Do these have the potential to keep going up similar to some of the other limited Star Wars minifigs? The coolest part about it is essentially the figure design, being an all-black trooper. But that is something they could easily include in a future set. How much more could this go up?

Looks like we will not get a continuation of the story line. Looks like they are going to do spin offs instead Yoda's being the first.... http://jediinsider.com/news.php?itemid=14514 Yoda is dead!!! Have they ever seen Star Wars??? I'm disappointed...

Does anybody know how many sealed bags this set should contain? Are there any loose pieces that came with the set outside of bags that I need to make sure are there? Thanks
-
These sets look pretty good, especially the Geonosis ones (all those new jedi). The prices are down because they are re-makes, but the figs are quite nice. Finally a chicken legged Darth Maul! Can't wait till episode seven, hopefully put the money, (and fresh ideas) back into this theme!
