after waiting for tower bridge to be out a while, and reading the forum post all about it, I decided to order straight from lego about 3 months ago. I receive the set in a box slightly larger than tb and it has air packages in it, which caved in the box. I called lego and they sent a new one out right away, and I had the old one waiting at the door fed ex is supposed to pick it up. still waiting for fed ex..... what would you do?

So I went to my local lego store to purchase the Technic Crane for $219.99. But then saw Orc Forges on clearance for 20% off. I bought 3 and later came back and bought 3 again as it was quite tempting at $31.99. When i came home I noticed that they scratched the barcode with a sharpie or a marker.. So it would not scan. I mean on all the sets!! They know that I come in a lot and purchase a lot and in multiples. Anything like this happen to you before.

I got 5 or 6 orders in Customer Service since November 30th....Is it just me. Usually takes couple of days to go to "In Process"...all orders item were on sale....nothing extraordinary.

Anyone got yours yet? I just got it today and felt like it's a joke. It's only redeemable during Dec 3-31, 2013. What kind of GC has a expiration date?

Placed an order today (10/31) at LEGO Shop at Home 4:00pm local time (US - PST) and received an email showing an order date of 11/1. Called customer service about the date discrepancy who responded that it was based off of Denmark. They also said to keep an eye on the order the next couple of days to see if the double VIP points come through...

With double VIP points in October I'm currently just over 2000. Even though I had a points membership for many years, I've never actively worried about getting them until my city finally got a LEGO store about 6 monthes ago. I've bought 90% of my LEGO at TRU sales. Has anyone let the points just rack up over a long period of time? Has anyone hit 5 figures??

Hi. I was curious as to what the October 2013 offers might be. I am assuming its 10% in VIP rewards. So debating 10% (if happening) vs the September offers .

I plan to order more Fire Brigade from LEGO Shop at Home USA, but currently it is OOS. The web site still allows me to add to shopping cart, but the expected ship date is 11/06. My question is if I order it today, but if they don't ship it until 11/06, do I still get 2x VIP points?

Just received my Winter Village Market from LEGO Shop at Home this afternoon. It's the only purchase I've made with LEGO Shop at Home since Double Points this past Spring. Any purchases we want to make with TLG we just go to the local store. My wife thought the Store Employee Minifig was "cute" and worth trying for so we ordered. Got the Tree Stand promo, didn't get the Minifig. Bummer. What's ironic is that I actually used my iPhone to place the order and I had read here on Brickpicker that the Minifig was to celebrate the new mobile ready website. HA! So between all the September purchases to get in on the freebie bonanza, and the double VIP points in October, I'm going to end up with 3000 points/$150 to spend at Lego.com. So, what is the best way to translate that into real money? I don't want to spend it on a long term investment at this point, so I'm looking for the best set to flip that will actually bring in the same amount I spend in VIP points - in other words, I want something I can re-sell in the near future for at least 10-15% above what I "spend" on it so after eBay/PayPal or Amazon take their cut, I have that amount in my pocket. What do you all think? I'm thinking Vampyre Castle may be the best…

Has anyone bought online at LEGO Shop at Home and then return it at the shop?

I had three orders come in today from Lego shop at home. No huge exclusives or anything - actually mostly stuff I wanted to build. So one of the three orders didn't have a christmas stand at all. It was on the sheet and in my order form. The other two did. SO question is, anyone had this before? I am sure Customer service would just take care of it for me, but I always don't want to alert somebody that I have made several orders the last few months getting extra promos. Anyone had this issue?

So there I was on the Lego Shop website, ordering 10x each series 2 Friends pets because they were on sale (3.98 USD). I checked my email for the shipping confirmation so I can roll in all of the VIP points that I received and I get a message saying I had to call customer service. They wanted me to verify all kinds of info (address, CC#, etc.) because the size of the order. Couple of questions: 1. Is this standard with larger orders with them? 2. Do collectors/investors not order big from the site? Was this a rookie mistake? 3. Could this procedure pertain to their concern about resellers? 4. Am I now on some kind of Lego Group watch list?
