I haven't really made purchases at the Lego store, and I see people mention double VIP point days. Just wondering how often Lego has these double point days? I'm going to make a purchase in store in the near future and want to maximize the number of points I earn!

I can't take credit for this - my Wife told me to do this last month as I went down to the Lego store to pick up a Crawler and I mentioned I didn't want the free exclusive and it wasn't worth that much. I know this probably wont be popular this month with the great exclusives, but just wanted to share how right she was. They had these out: Sidney Opera House Ewok Village Tower of Orthanic 10240 X-wing I would rate them Tower, Ewok, Sidney, X-wing First off - The Tower of Orthanic is incredible and I will be purchasing it Monday when I go back. Its massive, Tree Beard is massive and it is about the most imposing thing I have ever seen when you walk in. The Black, an almost foot tall Charter holding orcs. Its incredible. A close second is the Ewok Village. It just looks tons of fun. Soooo many awesome looking minifigures and the set is extremely detailed. Um, yeah... So I was checking s @ **** for some sets, and guess which one I couldn't find. No listing at all. What does that mean? I think it's safe to assume that we'll be seeing this set again this Christmas, or is it? Has anyone here ever heard of a set just disappearing like this?

I ordered $100 + of pick a brick items on 8/2, and I saw how the shipment time is more than two weeks for these items; however, I did get a 'your order has shipped' email only two days later. When I click on the tracking number, it brings be to an unknown carrier site and says that the item is in Strykow, which is in Poland. It has been there ever since. There are no updates or events on the shipping page. I emailed customer supports and asked them if my shipment is still being processed, or if it is actually on its way, but the only thing they sent me was a form letter saying that they understand why I am unhappy with the length of shipping time...blah blah blah…

So the new calendar is now available at Lego stores and S@H. As you can see the Sopwith Camel graces the front cover which means it will probably be around for a long while. Also the month of March features a row of built modulars with the Fire Brigade placed pretty much in the middle, now this is just a stock picture that many of us have seen before but if the FB is on its way out as many have speculated, I find it oddly placed. Hello all, Lego fan from Australia, unfortunately we don't have no bricks and mortar official Lego shops over here, I've never been to one (will definitely do so one day), so all I can do is to watch videos on youtube or read the forums on how its like in one of those official shops. Have got a few questions for those who are familiar with the shops: 1. The brick wall offerings - are the types of bricks and pieces available at each different shop completely random? As in you never know what you're going to get until you visit a particular shop, and do they change their 'stock' regularly - pink flowers available today, who knows - maybe yellow flowers available nex…

Finally, a LEGO store being built in central NJ in the Freehold Raceway Mall. For a state that is one of the wealthiest in the nation(...and it's not because of Jeff and I...LOL), the lack of LEGO stores always amazed me. Well, on June 21, 22, and 23, 2013, the new LEGO store will be running a Grand Opening. I received a card to hand in for a special LEGO Hulk brick. Hopefully, there will be other specials. From a personal standpoint, it is nice to have a LEGO store within a half hours drive. I always missed out on any sort of deals. Who knows, you might even run into Jeff or I on one of those days... :bug:

Hey All - Was just thinking today, how many VIP points i have, and what i plan to do with them. so heres the question then...how many do you have? and what will you do with them? I was making a delivery at work this morning an was right by my local one, so I decided to drop in. I got there before the store opened. The store only had 12 in stock and I was able to take 4. Last year I remember Lego doing a promotion for VIP members that brought the price of the big cups to the price of the small cups. Any thoughts on when they will be doing this again? Is it typical? I really hope so, would love to clear my place out of roof pieces!

I noticed this a few days ago... is anyone else seeing the VIP points showing up differently on each item than they were previously? For example, the Haunted House is showing it eligible for 14 VIP points? The tower bridge is showing 19?? Horizon Express & Aviation Adventures both have zero VIP points?

Is it lego selling differently between legoland or depend on the local market? Tell me I am not the only one waiting till midnight to place a bunch of $75 orders to get a bunch of these hot dog stands before they run out? Buying orc forge/funhouse pairs---3 of each in pairs to get over the 75 hump. And I have been waiting for 3 weeks now! Hoping the forge stays in stock--biting my nails for the last 2 weeks.
