Should I buy multiple (large) sets on one order OR have multiple orders with one large set each? The reason I ask is the shipping box is perfect for reselling. Less work. Multiple sets on one order will probably have doubled-up or tripled-up sets in one (or more) boxes. It's October: double VIP points, one or two promotional freebies, NO TAX, free shipping. Is this considered abuse of one's account? To get multiple freebies if they meet the requirements? I'm looking at HH, VW Van, R2-D2... Thanks...

I have never ordered from Lego's website before and seeing how cool some of the polybags are, I'm ready to jump in. Quick question first. Usually the minimum order is $75 to qualify for the free promo polybag. If your order totals $150, will you get two? If $225, will you get 3? Or is there a cap limit on how many free polybags you get?

Went to a Lego store the other night to pick up an Ewok Village with all the VIP points I had. I have been to this store quite a bit so most of the people know me pretty well. Its funny because a lot of the people on here talk about Lego employees accusing people of reselling, etc. (Like Willy's insane Lego store manager story), but none of them have questioned any of my ridiculous purchases, nor my stupid amount of VIP points. Either way, they were training a new guy while I was there. Now, I generally don't let on when talking to people that I know what I am doing - don't want anyone to know I am checking out stuff to resell later. I told him I had a coupon and as…

Went to my Lego store today and was only given the clone trooper. I asked if I get the camper as well and one cashier said no, one or the other, while another staff said yes I get both. I mentioned I would get both if purchasing online so I was given the camper as well "this time". Apparently the order to give one or the other and not both came from the manager. Anyone else had this problem? Or is it just them sticking it to us canadians again lol *insert complaints and moans and groans about canadian prices*

I talked to the manager at the milwaukee location and they told me there is a store opening at Gurnee Mills on October. Sure enough we took the kids to rainforest cafe the other night and it's under construction now. Funny thing is one sign on the wall said opening 2011 and the other said opening 2013. I wonder which is correct.

Just came back from my local Lego store...unfortunately the only Monster FIghter set they had left was the Vampyre Hearse. Is this set worth it for 30% off...basically $25? What are thoughts on this as an investment? There were about 5 left.

I went to my local Lego store today to see what if anything was going on with their VW polybags now that the promotion is over. The clerk told me that they "send them all back". I have not seen any previous promotional polybags show up in the lego store after the promotion is over so I assume he's being honest. I would have been happy to liberate any remaining ones, even at twice the face price of $6.99 CDN that was listed on my receipts in September. Oh well. Now to bide my time until the Christmas promo is available on October 15.

Apologies up front if a) I should know this or it is answered here and I didn't see it... I'm just getting into Legos for the first time since I was a youngin'... When ordering on lego.com, should the free polybag show up on your order screen if you're $75+, or do you just order the item and then they toss it in there? I was ordering an item for $99 and the VW Bus never showed up anywhere in my order, and I couldn't search/add it to my cart. Sure hope it does come, as I really want that piece and its about 90% of why I put in an order tonight (instead of waiting 2 more days for double points) Appreciate the time of anyone who is willing to shoot back…

Lego is opening 4 new Lego stores in the U.S. Danbury Fair, Danbury, CT West County, Des Peres, MO North Star Mall, San Antonio, TX Fashion Place, Murray, UT Are you surprised TLC is expanding? They have had very good numbers recently in the U.S. as far as profit goes. Link: http://www.brickset.com/news/article/?ID=5830

Honestly I am one of the people who are a little irritated with TLG's supposed new coupon policy. But I wouldn't have near as much problem with it if they weren't so stingy with every having a freaking sale or discount on something? Why don't they do this more? I know a lot of supplier/manufacturers don't usually sell stuff their-selves but even having 10-15% off sales, they would make more money than if someone buys the set they sold wholesale at a 40% discount to Amazon or Target for, right? The only reason I can think of is its part of their policy to keep resellers happy - but I feel like Lego has the upperhand in all of those negotiations anyway. Wouldn't…

Order gift card online - get vip points and have it delivered for free. Go to lego store, use gift card, present vip card, get points again. Would that happen?

I'm just wondering if you can collect VIP points anywhere. Like for example, I signed up for the card in Canada, can I still get points when I'm buying a set in the US or in the UK?

So today I received my ordered which was supposed to contain 2 copies each of the new Minecraft sets.... only for one to be missing. The invoice states that there are supposed to be 4 in the box. I have sent off an email now though will probably just call tonight when the lines open up. Has anyone else had this issue with LEGO Shop at Home before? Do they rectify the problem quickly?

Is it considered "wrong" to return a sealed set to a Lego store for store credit if you tell the employee up front "I'm not sure if this was purchased here but it was a gift and I'd like a different set."?

So today I was looking through my account history for my Lego VIP account. There was one thing I noticed. I only have used the account twice, but the strange thing is, it says my account was used sometime in june to buy an 10225 R2-D2. Also with that purchase there was two promos with it which were the 30242 Republic frigate, and the splinter key chain. When I saw that I was very surprised. I had purchased the an R2-D2 in april and got those two promos then. I would like to know if this has ever happened to anyone before? my account still says that I have purchased two R2-D2, when I only have purchased one.

The new LEGO Fall catalog came today. It seemed smaller than usual. No Tower Bridge, Grand Emporium or Fire Brigade. No SSD. Haunted House was there. So was the 10188 Death Star. It was heavy on Chima and STAR WARS. Lone Ranger still there, as was the SE Crawler. No coupons.

Does anyone know if there's a store in Brussels, Belgium? I know that there's a store that will open in 2 weeks or so in Antwerp and I could go there, but if there's a store in Brussels it'd be even better as I'd skip the 1h train ride. Also, do you know if when you buy an item in a shop on your birthday do you get a discount or something? If not and if any Lego heavyweight is reading this, you should totally do it, specially before November 18th!

I bought a Tower of Orthanc on total impulse and got the Jor El poly promo. I am in the 90 day window and haven't built the Tower yet, so looking to return it and move the money around. Anyone know if I return the Tower for refund, will they charge me the $4.99 for the promo poly or expect the poly too? Thanks in advance.
