Just curious if there's a regular frequency when VIP points are offered (say, particular months of the year). Or do they simply announce it as the time approaches? Thanks!

Some of my accounts have been flagged and I cannot make more purchases or use earned VIP dollars. The issue is that I have one particular account with over $1k in VIP dollars. Starting a new thread from comments from others on the 12/19 daily deals thread about Lego having potentially problems meeting sales goals from multiple double VIP point days in December. I am not saying whether the question on more double VIP sales because sales goals are not being met is true or not, but are you all really thinking so? So for October, I order couple of items, one for 80, which is enough for free shipping by itself, the other one is 40. For the $40 item, which is the star wars advent calendar, I'm thinking about returning it and change it to city advent calendar. The question is if I return and purchase the city advent, will Lego require me to return the free Toy Workshop that they were given out for free in October as well? if so, I may just purchase another City and sell the Star Wars Advent Calendar.

I have a friend in Australia. I'm in the US. I'd like to order a couple of small things from the Australia store, and have them send it to her direct. I'd prefer not to order or buy here in the States, and then mail it to her. Is that even possible? I tried to do it tonight. I carted a couple of keychains ($7 AUS each). But when I went to check out, the only options for shipping were a $25 option and another higher option ($30 or $50, cannot remember). I was logged into my VIP account, so I can only figure it was thinking I wanted them shipped to the US.

I having been purchasing lego now for a few months. I have focused on the larger more exclusive sets. I had an interesting day today. I visited my local lego store to buy a SSD and get double points. When I got there imagine my delight when I saw they had tumbler in stock. A member of staff told me that they had just got a new delivery but they were selling like hot cakes. Don't know why but my region has been set the US however I'm registered in the UK. Even when I try to access Lego UK it keeps going back to the US. Looked all over but can't fathom out how to change it. Any ideas, thanks.

Forgive me if this has been discussed elsewhere. I was just looking at Shop at Home exclusives, thinking about my next purchase... 10225 R2-D2, ... or 10937 Arkham Asylum, ...or 10214 Tower Bridge, etc, etc... I noticed Tower Bridge, VW T1, and Pet Shop all have a max limit of 5, ...and R2-D2, Arkham, the Triple-E, Sopwith Camel all have a limit of 2. Could that be an indicator that the latter might be going EOL first, and the others might be hanging around a while? Or is it maybe just an indicator of current (or anticipated) inventory, demand, etc? For instance, the (out of stock) Tumbler is also limit 2, and it's brand new.

While granted I am still very new to this but I noticed with the mini cooper poly it was a $99 buy for the free poly but I figured it was because the mini was $99. I just looked at September's add and the spaceman poly is also only free with a $99 purchase. If this is the new norm will polys go up in value because fewer will get them free, even though most decent sets at LEGO Shop at Home are $99+ now. Or is this normal for Lego?

I was wondering if anyone else received a shipment in the last couple of days and if it had the mini poly bag with it, I don't know if they ran out or it was left out on mistake. Thanks

Just received the Summer catalog and noticed a few interesting things as I'm sure many of you have. Open it up and right there on the first page is the SSD. Hmmmmmm. Also just interesting that the Cinderella Castle is not included. Not reading into anything...just simply observations.
