I was wondering if there was a list of all past SAH Promotional giveaways anywhere on this or other sites. I looked around and couldn't find one. I was trying to see the month and year of past promos, as well as purchase requirements, if possible. Is this out there somewhere? I often hear past promos mentioned in some of the discussion forums, but I haven't been able to find a comprehensive database. If there isn't one, can anyone with more history/knowledge of this than myself start a list that we can add to going forward? Thanks!

Saving money is no different from saving VIP points by the way. I read it a lot on this forum that people are regarding VIP points as some freebie, so they can buy expensive sets that would be out of their budget. It is just a 5% purchase rebate. It does not matter if you use them up with your continuous purchases or all at once, except if you plan on getting out of buying LEGO and want to avoid not using up the rebate from a money purchase.

In general, most sets seems to have a 5 per order limit. I've seen within various threads mentions of being black-listed and such. If an item has no (99) limit, should I be hesitant to buy 99 in one shot? I'm looking to potentially stock pile 100+ of some sets as investments to supplement by everyday Amazon selling of toys/games/trading cards. Will continue flipping many items as soon as I get them including some Lego sets but also want to have longer holds for larger gains.... just don't want to set any records for being the fasted to getting a LEGO Shop at Home account closed/black-listed While I await response(s).... back to making shelf space in the basement (a…

I've just received a package from Lego expecting a Ferrari F40 (10243) but I was surprised to find a Parisian Restaurant instead (10248). I think this might be a case of OCR gone wrong given that the 8 could have been read as a 3. Although I'm always happy about getting a set for half the price, I really don't want to start collecting modulars (I'm only collecting, not reselling). Has this ever happened to any of you before? What did you do and did Lego do anything special about it?

Anyone else notice that all the lego SAH prices are 100.00 higher for the big sets and double for all the other sets? This would stink if you didn't realize that. Weird.

First time shop at home buyer here, I frequently buy from other sites such as amazon but decided to go direct from the company on this one for some reason. Has anybody else had issues with order checking/tracking on the SaH website recently? I ordered a product several days ago, didn't get a confirmation email until 2 days after I placed the order. When I went to check the order status, the system on the website told me my order number couldn't be found. Got on the phone with customer service, my order was successfully placed and was being processed, okay all well and good maybe it was just a fluke in the system. The problem is, it's now been nearly another full day, and …

This is the site moderators or anyone else that can help. Is there a way to we can be notified when Lego has Double VIP Point days? Maybe an email alert or something? Based on what I found so far. The interweb...is predicting 2x VIP points during March 7 to 22 March 2016. (dont quote me on this). Happy hunting.

Hello, I have noticed that when researching a product by entering the set number on LEGO Shop at Home (Canada), if the product is sold out/retired, it often shows a discounted price. That would suggest that when it was last available it got a reduced price before finally being sold out / retired. So my question is do many sets get a price reduction at LEGO Shop at Home when it's about to be sold out? Since finding Lego with a nice discount at retail stores is not as frequent as I would like in my neck of the woods, I was wondering whether, for sets I'm interested in, I should just keep my eye open for it to go on sale on LEGO Shop at Home before it se…

This got asked yesterday, but buried in the forum under the buy or no buy section. When did Lego remove the option to buy pieces under the bricks & pieces/missing pieces section of the LEGO Shop at Home page? I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the they had removed the prices and severely restricted the buying limits on any individual piece, but now you can't even buy pieces from this section. There is only a link for missing pieces. You have to request missing parts, and can't ask for more than the quantity included with the set originally. Did they purposely discontinue this service? Is this another example of poor Lego web design and the link is…

I just received this warning email from Shop at Home. I guess they don't like my business of 50x DC Funhouse and the like. Should I be worried and/or change any buying habits/practices? If banned does a new credit card do the trick? How do they know that my kids don't have a ton of friends and the Funhouse is our go to standard birthday gift? LOL copy/paste from email below: Hello, In an effort to reinforce existing LEGO policies, I am sending this message to you. The LEGO Shop sells and ships products to end-user consumers only. You may not purchase LEGO products for resale via the shop.LEGO.com site or LEGO Brand Retail Stores. We r…

The brand new (German) brand catalog is here (click)! Direct link to PDF (282 MB!) Browsed it quickly: no Jurassic World and no Scooby-Doo?! No Architecture and Exclusives either but I assume that's because it's a "kids only" catalog. What's most interesting to you?

Hi- I am new around here, mainly a lego collector for my son and I for sets we want. I like to buy sets on sale more than anything when I find them...however have enjoyed reading recent posts about TH, GE, HH etc. The thrill of the chase is so exciting indeed. Today I went to Legoland Florida with my family, here is a synopsis of some of their inventory: HH- in stock but has its own place behind the counter, very low supply. TH- tons of them in every store, lots of stock per employee. SC- had two in the stores only- great seller for British visitors, we're expecting many more to come T1- tons Tumbler- tons, slow sell…

For all of you in south central NJ and the Philly suburbs, a new LEGO store will be opening in the Cherry Hill Mall. Finally I get a LEGO store 20 minutes from my house. Might look to get a job there!

Does anyone have any insight on what actually happens when SAH goes OOS on an item and posts an expected back in stock date (specifically on items we are expecting to go EOL)? Most of the time, the date is within a few weeks. I find it hard to believe that they are able to manufacture new sets and have them back in the warehouse that quick.

I'm wondering if there is a new policy regarding the promos? Last week during the X2 VIP and Holiday train I ordered lots of modulars on individual orders (only to be sure they were boxed separately) Are they starting to only send one promo /day? In the past they sent with each order I placed that met promo price. In a way I'm happy that they don't send them cause they always mess up my main boxed item. On the other hand, if they sent, like in the past, I'd have dozens of them for trade bait. If they are cutting me short I'd at least like to know why, but if it's now policy, I'm OK with that. NM, lol. I see where it says 1 per household. I guess they are actually goi…
