Read on a french site today, the upcoming sets for winter of 2016... Microfighters Series 3 - 4 are from rebels, and 2 are from Ep72 new Force Awakens sets "Battle on Takodana" and the Pirate Transport2 new Battle packs from the Force Awakens2 Battlepacks from Battlefront Game6 of those Construction Figures4 Old Trilogy Sets (Hoth Attack, Bespin Carbon Freezing Chamber (YEAH), Droid Escape Pod, ROTS Obi Wan Jedi Interceptor).

This is the first rumor i've seen related to the January 1st winter wave of 2017. I have a question regarding these two sets, both have seemed to level off (I think) and I was wondering if I should sell them and invest in something more current that will be EOLing soon or hold on to them and see what happens. Any input would be appreciated. WWJOED???

Battle packs... Hmmm? Sounds like a good idea right? Four minifigs and a cool vehicle for 10 bucks! But is lego rolling the dough a little thin, for us that is? It started out with the first two battle pack sets 7654 (droids battle pack) and 7655 (clone troopers battle pack) at a price of $9.99 a piece. Good price. But that's then, lets look at when the inflation started to happen. Four more battle packs came out and then in 2010 with sets 8083 (rebel trooper battle pack) and 8084 (snow trooper battle pack) they go up two bucks... No big deal. I was just looking at the CAGR by theme and I noticed that the Star Wars CAGR for the theme had dropped significantly. The last time I checked, the CAGR was around 9%. Now the CAGR is 5.73%. Does this mean that the Star Wars theme will not be a good theme to invest in. I was checking some individual set CAGR and I noticed that a lot of sets dropped in value and in CAGR. I also heard that Ed Mack's collection lost $900 in Star Wars sets. I was wondering what everyone else thinks. Is this an indicator that Star Wars will not be good for investing in the future?

Is anyone going to this this week? I'm sure if you are you want any extra Fett exclusives you can get for yourself, but if not, I'd like to get one! I'd also like another item that isn't LEGO related so maybe you could pick it up for me? Please let me know if you can help, thanks!

I have a collection of Star Wars Legos from my childhood. I am interested in selling the collection. What is the best way to go about this as I do not collect or sell often enough to know a good route. I have added collection to my 'brickfolio' to get value.

Kind of silly and useless information, but I always like to see LEGO sets in movies and TV shows. There's a scene in Parental Guidance where one of the kids is playing in his room and he has a table full of LEGO sets and bricks. Two easily identified sets were 7879 Hoth Echo Base and 8129 AT-AT along with various Clone Troopers. He also has a Star Wars minifigure gallery poster on his wall.

This sets are like 11 years old, and visually they look very good, they even have some nice functions. Why does this sets didn't had a good CAGR?
