Star Wars 75399 U-Wing...And others

I like the engines on the R1 version from a few years ago better.  Going to have to see it from more views before I buy for one less figure and a smaller ship to probably not even display.  The first edition's crew/cargo bay area seems taller and the doors slid open, I cannot tell if the new one lost that function but it appears to be shorter.

There are some update grainy shots on the usual leak site, it appears the cockpit has 3 seats...so there's likley lots of parts used to make that work.

 

Increased piece count seems to come from replacing some of the larger pieces with multiple smaller pieces. The cockpit looks identical tot he previous version.

Chopper looks good. I'll pick up the loveable war criminal for a personal build.

That Star Wars Logo build is smooth. I'd rather get da Chopper, though.

I was more excited about the early rumor that it was the 1999 LEGO Star Wars logo - this is underwhelming for me.

With the rumor of the Jango Slave 1 GWP being a vehicle plus 3 minifigs and this new rumor of the Death Star GWP also being a vehicle plus 3 minifigs, I wonder if this is a new SW UCS GWP trend to be established?

Looks like it’s going to force collectors to buy right away by offering gwp tied to the item while it was already a thing looks like it is becoming standard procedure
