How cheap did Luke's landspeeder get on clearance? Simple question. I saw these were selling cheaper than the retail price they are available for on walmart.com. After seeing how many are selling and how cheap they are selling, I was wondering how cheap you guys were able to pick them up for after Christmas. I can't believe there is much profit in these right now. The cheapest I saw after Christmas was $17.00 but I know every Walmart does clearance differently.

I must say I am a little disappointed in this set as far as investing goes. Should I just sell it and put the money towards a better investment prospect? Does anyone think that this set will ever make me any money? I really just want to get rid of it, any insight???

A few years a go, a kid was trying to give me this set for free, and I ended up giving him a light-up Mace Windu for it. It is missing a few pieces and all the minifigs, but is still listed at about $70, in my Brickfolio. What do you think I could get for it?

I have an opportunity to grab about half a dozen of '8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer' for a flat 25$(CAD) a piece from a private seller. Before I jump on it I was wandering if any one has had any luck selling this set for profit? I intend to keep one for my personal collection and sell the rest at the second market.

I have a question and perhaps someone more experienced could help me out: I picked this up NISB in brilliant condition for $195 and don't know whether to hold, build (heh), sell or perhaps trade it here if someone was looking for it. I lean towards sell it short term or trade it but am struggling with this decision as it may be in the $350 range before a new model comes out and I have never owned an AT-AT model so I don't know what to expect with updated versions. Thanks for any help (:

Any thoughts on whether this set is just OOS for the holidays or whether it's nearing the end? Amazon hasn't had it in stock in at least a month, walmart.com and target.com have been OOS for a while. I haven't seen one in target for a while either.... Also, any thoughts on the value of this set if it were to go EOL?

I have a feeling Star Wars Anakin's Jedi Interceptor 9494 is nearing EOL. I don't think they'll be in Target stores anymore and once they sell out on the website, they're gone from Target. I did see that Lego S@H was still selling them.

So, I have found about ten of these on sale for $27.38 a piece AFTER taxes. This seems like a really good deal. But, it also seems like one of those sets that doesn't really look like it's going anywhere. Anyone have any thoughts?

I finished watching the entire Star Wars saga with my son and his favorite movie of them all is Episode 1 and he loved Jar Jar Binks! As far as I can tell the only set right now in print with Jar Jar is the gungan sub and it seems to almost be out of print? There are no new sets scheduled in 2014 that will have him either, correct? His next favorite film was episode 4 and he is very excited for the cantina coming out this summer as well as the more affordable star destroyer coming out as well and so am I lol Anyhow, I just wanted to get everyone's thought on this... I'm thinking that the more affordable approach would be to just ord…

Amazon price matched Walmart's price for the Malevolence. No tax makes this a real 25% discount. I do believe this is the lowest I have seen the set. Picked one up. LINK

Right now walmart.com has lego 9525 mandalorian fighter at $39.97. normal price is $50. Since this is a walmart exclusive I don't think this set will ever go any lower at walmart or lego.com. I know it could be 1-2 years before eol. But should I buy now hoping for it to be a good investment, Or are there just too many other good investments right now. I value the brickpicker community opinions. Thanks

Hi Everyone, I am a mom, a new member and this is my first forum post! I found a sealed box in a pretty good condition of the MindStorms 9748-1: Droid Developer Kit at my brother's house. http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=9748-1 was all excited trying to find out how much it is worth now since it's Star War related and all..... And to my surprise it performed so poorly, 1.03% CAGR...... Does this mean this set has no potential at all? Should I keep it for few more years? Sell it? or just give it to my son to play with while the motor may still work..... Thanks!!

I have 7 Star Wars Lego Sets. Their boxes were opened neatly and they were assembled by a 40 year-old man. The sets were never disassembled and all of the parts are included. I have pictures of each of them fully-assembled to put up for sale and still have them put together to show the buyer. They have never been played with by anyone...they sat in plastic bags on a shelf as trophies, fully-assembled for years. Now, I need to sell them. Are they considered new or used? The boxes have been kept in mint condition and they were purchased mail-order-direct from the LEGO company around the time Episode 1 came out...so the boxes have never been scratched up or on she…

I am negotiating with this guy on craigslist whether or not this is a "Good deal" (check attached) All of that for $150, but I knocked him down to $125. He has all the figs, and instruction manuals, except... *drumroll* no boxes. Is this even worth it? I am looking into investing/collecting, and honestly I think this guy is clueless that the Watto figure alone is $50. My gut is telling me to get it, because it will look nice as a whole, but with no boxes, I don't want this to hurt me in the future when I decide to let these go if I do so. Thoughts?

Star Wars sets have a proven track record, but since Clone Wars sets are not original, are they still solid investments?

This used to be my go to place for reading what others thought of sets before I bought one. This site just does not get many reviews posted anymore. It looks like I stopped bothering last year. Where do you go for insights now? Youtube? Discord? The kid of that guy at work? I have a few youtube channels I subscribe too now for information. I joined a lego discord channel but rarely go there, its not well organized if you want leaks, this is a better site for me to see info in advance of a release. Designers critiques Here are a few designer thoughts in case anyone here secretly works at lego. 1. All ships and playsets must have storage for the…

Every time I log into my brickfolio I consistently see the large majority of my set values that have decreased are my upper end SW sets. Has the flooding of the market with multiple versions and reiterations finally caught up with the collector value of the originals? I tend to think that there will always be a market for a set if it has something that makes it unique. I am not a big flipper, I have no desire to buy 50 sets and flip each for a 10% profit. I like to collect just like a comic book collector. But I will usually buy two, one to build and enjoy and one to stay minty fresh. So I guess with that reasoning I will always just buy what I like and not really worry a…
