I am almost as excited for this set as I was when I first saw the Haunted House pictures last year. This set is going to be a big hit in my opinion. I typically don't even like technic sets that much, but this set rocks!! Thanks to Brickextra for the pics! "The LEGO Technic Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey was designed to highlight the important role the aircraft plays in search and rescue efforts. "While the set clearly depicts how a rescue version of the plane might look, the aircraft is only used by the military. We have a long-standing policy not to create sets which feature real military vehicles, so it has been decided not to proceed with the launch of this product. "We appreciate that some fans who were looking forward to this set may be disappointed, but we believe it’s important to ensure that we uphold our brand values." Release date was August 1st. Canceled less than 2 weeks before release due …

I really like the lego 9398 4x4. I think it'll be a great set after EOL. What does everyone else think. Also I failed to get in on the excavator before EOL. At the current price is it still worth it?

Anyone seen the 42030 Volvo Front Loader? http://brickset.com/sets/42030-1/Volvo-L350F-Front-Loader So I mentioned in a blog about Technic showing up in other stores that I thought it might be good for the theme. If Lego invests more money in it, maybe they will start licensing more of it like the Unimog. Well we have another licensed set. Volvo may not be the biggest name in construction, but its certainly looks like a push in that direction. Technic lovers love Construction - and I feel like they will love licensed Construction even more. This is a big boy at 1636 pieces. Looks sweet too:

Anyone bought the 42009 for investment yet? I ordered one today, but I don't know if I should build it, or keep it for investment after reading the following: http://community.brickpicker.com/blog/4/entry-304-lego-technic-investments-on-the-fast-track-or-in-the-shop-part-2/ Let me know what you guys think. I just started buying Lego as investment, but I must say: Its addicting

I normally always skip the technic. But this one got my attention. It's one the best set I've seen, but I've not seen a lot of technic, so I'm not sure it's a real "wow set". And I can buy it at 20% off, and I'm not sure if should buy it now or wait, since technic seem to sell slower

Hi, I recently acquired one of these MISB for 80 euros. MSRP is 120 euros and it seems to be hard to find at less than that on Amazon and in other big shops. Would you a) flip it now part it out c) keep hold of it till EOL. I am not sure how popular it is being a new set and whether in 2 years time it will be a consolidated set. What do you all think?

Mustang Cobra Shelby there's others mentioned here: https://www.brickfanatics.com/new-lego-technic-sets-for-2022-unveiled/ lovin it...makes the orange vette look even more monstrous...but as this line grows the completionist will make that fugly orange turd appreciate big time [and don't forget the car transports that all these are perfectly sized for...I predict it will hit $400 easily and may settle on $500 a couple years form now]

I tried searching for some general investment strategies with Technic sets so I figured I'd start a thread. Well I know that Technic does not have the following in the U.S. that it does in Europe but judging by the current market values of the Unimog and Excavator it appears that good profits can be made. My initial thoughts are to pick up a few 42009 MKII cranes and service trucks through TRUTH as they are more likely to retire end of year.

Seems people are starting to leak prelims for the 2018 range. So far, only pullbacks and one interesting model of note, which would be a licensed Mack container truck. That should please the Americans no end.

Hello fellow Brickpickers, I have just noticed that of Technic sets with any significance, 42039 Le Mans Race Car was the only one without dedicated topic (whereas the previous 42000 racer has 3!), so I figured I'd correct the injustice Please feel free to share your opinions on the design and naturally, its investment potential. There is currently a great deal going on it on Dutch Kruidvat website (only today) and I was wondering if it could ever be found for less than 70€ in Europe? I figure it's quite a decent price for its value. Looking forward to your feedback!

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=lego+9392&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc 9392 Quad bike. Wow. I assume it is retiring - it is basically sold out everything and all the other Technic sets seem to be going away. It seemingly doubled right after it disappeared. I managed to grab a couple more but I never would have expected this. Definitely wouldn't expect it to already be outperforming the 9391 tracked crane. Anyone not miss out and grab a couple of these?
