Official Press Release Mark your Calendars, fellow BrickPickers! July 16, 2018 at 3 PM EST the madness starts! (If there's a pricing glitch again...) Or otherwise, just meh disappointment.

  2. Almost a full year ago, Bold-Arrow started a thread about his experience with Amazon Warehouse Deals. As I mentioned in today's Daily Deal thread, we recently had our third child, and there was a ton of down time in the hospital. I spent a lot of time browsing the back alley's of Brickpicker's forums, and Bold-Arrow's thread was one I stumbled across. About every 15 minutes or so, I'd refresh the listing of AWD and browse through the results. It's amazing some of the cool older sets that pop up on there! Many of them aren't investment worthy, or even buy and build worthy, but they are interesting to discover even if I ultimately decide not to purchase. I have bought 13 se…

  3. AZ CLAIMS Main goal is to defend and maintain successful business so: · Always be professional and maintain your composure. If you want to vent, punch a wall, use the forum or PM me · Only state facts. Amazon cares little to rants, accusations , and claims that can’t be proven · Use bullet points in your reply to AZ claim · Try to quote Amazon’s polices when applicable · Never refund an AZ without trying to defend it since the damage has been done already · Reaching out to a customer is up to your discretion, but don’t wait too long to reply to AZ claim other with Amazon will rule in the b…

I know the site encourages users to click through deal links when buying Legos, but is there a generic affiliate link to use (that I can make my browser shortcut). That way whenever I purchase anything from Amazon, Brick Picker gets a taste. I searched around but nothing popped out at me. Might be something helpful to put in the FAQ too.

Can anyone share with me their experiences with selling on Amazon. I sold some stuff years ago and am now thinking of listing some items on there again. I know their policies and prices have changed. I am getting tired of the ebay fees and more the people purchasing on there trying to scam. I am wondering if it makes sense to sell and ship self, or if there is a way to send them all items and fulfill for you. What are the cost benefits or lack off from either way. Thanks for any information or experiences.

I glanced through the prior topics, but didn't see anything specific to Amazon FBA (Fullfillment By Amazon). If there was and I missed it, I apologize. I'm looking to sell some Lego sets using the Amazon FBA service and was wondering if anybody has had any experience good or bad selling through FBA. My concerns are that I have to put an FBA label over the barcode on the box. Not sure how a collector would feel about having to remove it and potentially damage the box. Also, a little concerned that the boxes that I send which are in mint condition, may not be received by the customer in mint condition, if you know what I mean. Just checking to see what othe…

  7. Welcome to Brickpicker's Amazon Prime Day 2017 thread! Amazon Prime Day will be Tuesday, July 11. Link to the 2016 thread. Some general info: Try to put all conversation/rumors/speculation/facts here in this thread. Use this thread for ALL deals that you want to share (not just LEGO deals). We will try to cross post LEGO deals to both this thread and Daily Deals. We will try to sticky the deals list and keep it up to date (as best we can).

  8. Jeff and I have been told about a possible huge sales event Amazon is preparing for on July 15, 2015. We have a friend who works within the Robbinsville, NJ Amazon warehouse and they are ramping up for huge activity. My brother in law (who is a mailman) also let me know that they were told that the USPS was told to be prepared for double the Amazon shipments from July 13-18. A friend wrote me today to confirm our suspicions of a gigantic 20th Anniversary Sale that will discount many "Prime" items 25-50% OFF! While this is only a rumor at this point, it makes a lot of sense since Amazon's first day of business was July 16, 1995. There is too much smoke here for there …

I know this set doesn't quite have the appeal it had a couple months ago, but I know many of you still want it. As of 9:32 pm Central Time, Amazon had 490 of these available at retail cost of $34.99. Limit one per account. Go get 'em! http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-6021886-Minecraft-21102/dp/B007PVHMCG?SubscriptionId=AKIAJQSYTIGRBKVM26KQ&&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B007PVHMCG

I have had several shipping problems with amazon as of late. Most recently, I received my Ewok Village......shipped in a large plastic envelope for all intents and purposes......NOT in a box. Needles to say thanks to USPS, corners are smashed, looks like it was probably stepped on, has a vague resemblance to a box at this point. This is the first time I've ordered an item like this that was not shipped in it's own box. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues?? Kinda second guessing whether it is worth ordering through them anymore.......

  15. So a while back I wrote this blog, but it was in the middle of a crap load of others and I don't know how people saw it. Maybe everyone already does this: http://community.brickpicker.com/blog/28/entry-366-amazon-gold-box-deals-make-sure-you-are-getting-the-most-out-of-amazons-discount-system/ Anyway, you can basically tell Amazon you only want Lego sets in your Gold box and it works really pretty well. I have multiple Lego sets in it almost everyday. Last 3 days in a row, I have had at least one of the minecraft sets and I got all three of them for $33.24 which as you all know anything is a good discount on those. I also recently got the delorean, and p…

Hello from Amazon. We are writing because your recent order activity indicates that you may be unaware of our policies regarding purchase limits. To provide more customers with an opportunity to benefit from great prices, we may set purchase limits on products that have very low prices or a limited supply. If a product is subject to a purchase limit, you will be notified during the checkout stage. Purchase limits are applied per customer. Once you reach a purchase limit for an item, you are no longer eligible to purchase the item with any other Amazon.com account. We wanted to bring this policy to your attention because violations of this policy may result in the closu…

I got banned from selling on Amazon after only selling there 5 days. I have 12 sales, RI's and polybags mostly. I still have zero feedback and zero complaints. They accused me of selling counterfeit items. I have no freaking idea what made them think that. The best part is they are holding my funds for 90 days! I appealed it but I think I'll stick to ebay even if they let me back on. Here is some of the email. All I can do is laugh about it, just ridiculous. We have removed your selling privileges, canceled your listings, and placed a temporary hold on any funds in your Amazon.com seller account. We took these actions because we believe there is a significan…

Hello all ... I've seen several posts in the past couple weeks on this forum about a seller on Amazon that goes by the name of "Moger." There had been some discussion as to who this individual / business might be ... and whether it was "legitimate" or not! Long story short ... I just checked an order I had placed on Amazon a couple weeks back ... and for which I have still not received! It shows as being shipped ... but has no tracking number. It also has an estimated delivery of between February 20th and February 25th. Am I the only one who is starting to wonder if I have been "taken" by "Moger?" I did send "Moger" a message inquiring as t…

I tried...really I did. Ordered ONE Friends Dolphin Cruiser from Amazon. First delivery both the outer and inner box were stepped on. Second try, exterior box great, Lego box had ripped corner. Third try today...see photo. Note the gaping hole. Exterior box fine, but whoever packed it did not pay much attention. Amazon is going to make it right... but this is tiresome.
