Although not a real favorite among the Lego Star Wars AFOLs, the 10215 Obi-Wan Jedi Starfighter is on sale at Lego.com for $59.99. A good deal for a Ultimate Collectors Series set that will probably be discontinued soon if it is being discounted so heavily by Lego. Normal MSRP was $99.99 and this is a set I paid $100 for months ago. Here's the link: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Obi-Wan-s-Jedi-Starfighter-10215

Here is More Info On The New Big Ewok Village Thats Coming!!!!!!!!!! Now before I joined this site, I was over on Toysnbricks and I started a Post saying a New Big X-wing and Ewok Village was coming, and caught some slack on where I got the Info, Well the X-wing came out today, and the News on the Big Ewok Village is its coming in the late summer or Fall, and the Price is $249.00 so it should be in a box the size of the Tower Bridge and Imperial Shuttle. I have seen a picture of it, but I don't have a copy of it, I was lucky enough just to see a picture, It looks great. Now Everything I have told you's on this site has come true. So not to get anybody in trouble this…

  6. I know this was mentioned in the UCS thread, but probably worthy of its own. Hoth Bricks has pics and info on the new UCS X-Wing, Price will be $199.99 US and it looks like it will come out in May. www.hothbricks.com

There are a lot of people that say LEGO makes a mistake that they don't release their new sets before Christmas instead of after. I think it is intentional just to keep people buying Lego sets past the holiday season. The majority of the population will buy whatever Lego is on the shelves and not care. I think star wars is so popular that people will but them whether they are on sale or not just like the CMF's that are also released after the holiday push. Any thoughts?

  9. If years prior to this year are any predictor there should be an exclusive Lego Star Wars Polybag given out to all Lego Star Wars purchases totaling 75.00. Usually there are some sales and deals going on along with free shipping but what would you buy in order to get the free polybag at current msrp prices to reach 75.00? Note - in the past they sometimes give the free minifigure with non Star Wars purchases but for the sake of this thread let's stick to all Star Wars! I would probably pick up: 9489 Endor battlepack x 2 @ 12.99 = 25.98 75001 Old Republic battlepack x 2 @ 12.99 = 25.98 74003 A-Wing @ 24.99 Grand Total 76.95 This order may or may not be repeated more than o…

Hello guys, I need some investment advices from you for 2013 SW sets... I will invest in SW sets because as we know the SW sets will be the most valuable sets in the secondary market in 5-10 years. I made a research on "growth potential" of the 2013 SW sets but I need your advices to choose the correct sets to invest in. My investment conditions: -I have currently about 300$ to invest. -I will buy x2 of the same set (1 for my collection and 1 to keep as an investment.) Thanks, Deniz

  13. The unveiling of the AT-AP at the SDCC made me ponder something. "Will LEGO release a whole new Episode 3 line next year?" This year's Episode 2 wave of sets was supposed to compliment the release of a 3D version of Episode 2. (The 3D Episode 3 movie got cancelled too.) A new 2014 Star Wars set was unveiled at the SDCC today. (It was not for sale or anything.) Name: AT-AP (All-Terrain Attack Pod) Number of minifigures: 5 EDIT: Quote from Brothers Brick. I know in recent years, amazon and Toys R Us have had the new 2014 sets prior to christmas. I have not seen or heard anything yet. Does anyone know if they will be offered again this year? Not for collecting or investing purposes, just to make 2 cute boys even happier this christmas. Any info would be great! Thanks

  17. Breaking with tradition, TLG released three of their four minifigure battle packs this year. They also separated from the 2012 precident of putting two 'good guys' and two 'bad guys' in each set. I hated that format and was happy to see the old four of a kind rule re-instated. In addition to the three $13 sets, we also got the $15 Battle of Saleucami, which has five figures. Does anyone else think these sets are better than previous years and will have a decent return? :/

  18. I've been perusing lots and lots of discussion regarding the big ticket sets of the SSD, DS, UCS R2D2 and whether or not they are a good idea to buy now, due to speculation that the EOL dates must be approaching soon this year, due to reasons such as a) already having had a long lifespan/two+ year lifespan b ) the increase in high range sets (New UCS X-Wing, etc.) as well as the incoming UCS Sandcrawler and expected Slave I displacing them soon c) various employee rumors (*chuckles*) and out-of-stock scares across various retailers. What I haven't seen anyone talk about in depth is the effect of the future JJ Abrams Star Wars movie on the lifespan of current sets. I…

  19. Given that they're only on preorder, the chance of discounts is nonexistent. Is it worth getting a couple of these at regular price ahead of time or do you think they will actually hit shelves? (and have a chance at being discounted at some point). Other thoughts on these 2 sets, knowing how whack-o people are for "Baby Yoda"?

Shadow ARF Trooper - Sell or Hold? I'm sure many of you have a couple of these, were a free minifig from LEGO Shop at Home a year or two ago. Going in the neighborhood of $25-$30 right now. Do these have the potential to keep going up similar to some of the other limited Star Wars minifigs? The coolest part about it is essentially the figure design, being an all-black trooper. But that is something they could easily include in a future set. How much more could this go up?

I'm not too familiar with polybags. My stores have tons of them, sometimes on serious clearance (though if they make it that far they usually get trashed pretty quickly). Are these Z-95's worth grabbing? My Walmart has a boatload for 3.97, not sure if it's worth it.

If you're hoping to get the new Jedi Interceptor polybag, I found a whole bin of them at a store during a trip to Legoland FL. They sell for $5 there, so hope this helped anyone. However, I did not have the opportunity for any pictures. Sorry!
