I wanted to create a new thread in order to give progress on my site updates. I want explain a bit on what happened and what I am doing. What happened with the site? Honestly nothing really exciting or dramatic, overall in the end, I did not want to support the host I was with for the past four years after not really offering too much help with managed servers. They would spend 30 seconds looking, say they can ping the server so its up and then just say, "hey not my problem". So, we all know that nowadays 90% of our time online is through mobile devices for most of us. I guess my question and topic of discussion is for Jeff and brickpicker creators. Why doesn't the brick picker app have access to not only the forum but all the other features from the site? Including access to brickfolio. It would be so convenient to check all that through the app while at the store when u run into a good deal or are trying to decide what set to purchase next!

Back in the early Fall, Ed and I were approached by Krause Publishing to develop a LEGO Collecting and Price Guide book. Not sure how many of you have ever been involved with putting a book together, but it is quite a task. For months Ed worked to the early morning hours putting the content together while I have taken thousands of photos and organized data. At this point, a lot of what we needed to submit has been handed over and the full production of the book is in progress. Here is Version 1.0 of the Brickpicker LEGO Stock Tracker. There will be a few different pages and trackers released over the coming days. This one here will be one that is updated very frequently. This list here will not grow to 100 sets or anything like that. I want to keep it focused on key sets that are desirable and sought after. As Jeff and I mentioned yesterday, the new IP Board forum software has a module which enables private subforums. Jeff and I purchased this module so that members can once again discuss NON LEGO investing topics in a forum that works in conjunction with the normal Brickpicker forum, yet is accessible to only members which would like to view it. It will not interfere with normal LEGO discussions or forum topics, yet for those who are members, you will see the forum activity pop up on your screen. Hello everyone, Ed and I are calling out to all of our members and visitors to ask for people that can take high quality photos of Built or Boxed LEGO sets. People read the forums and join this site to gain valuable knowledge. That being said some members have decided to post some quite off topic threads, I am guilty of this as well. So Ed and I spend time together on the weekends and obviously a lot of talk is about the website. This is always a good thing and always very productive. For about a year now, we have received a number of requests to do advertising on the site. I never had anything in place to manage it, but since the forum upgrade, I now have a way to allow you to do some self service promoting of your LEGO businesses. We are just going to start simple. I tried to log in on my home PC and must have entered the wrong log in, and I instantly got banned from the site... I then tried on my phone and same thing happened, banned. fortunately I'm still logged in on my work PC so I can access the site and post this LOL!!! can an Admin look into why I'm banned and see if I can get unbanned? Odd I'm banned for entering wrong info one time... ?
