Can somebody clear up for me what this represents? It says "top performing LEGO sets on eBay over the past six months" But it seems like it's miscalculating the rankings? BrickIndex: http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/brickindex.cfm 70752 is #1? This is still available for $7 on SAH. Is it taking the price of the lots it's included in? http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=41017-1 - Selling much lower http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=31023-1 - Negative CAGR? http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=850889-1 - Selling much lower

I have been working a lot with the tech support team of the forum, and while the forum worked, it is not working in its true native environment. Late yesterday I purchased a new dedicated server just for the forum. Loads of memory, SSD hard drives, etc. Hopefully you will be able to notice the difference already in responsiveness to normal page views in the forum. I need to update the links on the menus but the new web address will now be http://community.brickpicker.com. Thank youJeff

Hi there, since the update I have begun receiving copies of new posts to email, so my email is getting quite full as you can imagine. If you could please turn this off or tell me how to turn it off that would be appreciated. I can not seem to do it in my notifications. In fact in the notifications it requires me to choose at least one option for email updates and I would prefer to choose no option. I do not want any extra emails. Thank you

I am announcing that over the next few days there will be a sections of the site that will updated and certain parts of the site may not be available for short periods of time. As early as later tonight, I may try to run the forum upgrade. If any of you are out there in the web world, you may have heard that Google will be starting a new standard for search results based on mobile usability. Certain parts of this site are not passing their test and I have known that for a long time. I have been working on updating parts of the price guide for a while and will hopefully make those template updates live in the next few days as well. The forum is not passing the tests too…

  6. Admin, What happend to the lot calculator. Since a few weeks the lot calculator forwards you to Ali Express. I use the LOT Calculator often and it is the best tool there is. Please fix this issue. I now need to pres the stop button as soon as I see the lot calculator before it forwards me to ali express. Thanks in advance for checking the issue.

Jeff and I would like to welcome inversion as a new moderator. Huskers1236 will be stepping down from his Mod position due to time constraints. We want to thank Huskers1236 for his efforts and wish him well in the future. Ed

  9. I am happy to announce that we were able to work out a deal with Raise.com (a discount gift card) website. We noticed some of you have been using another service, but they really didn't reply to our messages. Raise.com was happy to work with us and looks to have many of the retail shops that we talk about here covered. Some of the deals will be e-codes that only work online and will be given to you quickly. Others will be physical cards that are shipped out to you. Regardless, this is a great way to shave another 5% or more off purchases. Obviously we would like to keep this partnership and that only works if you guys use the links here to show them you want to use …

I just want to make a statement about the Walmart Stock tracker that a lot of you are asking for and spreading the word about. It really doesn't work. The information is not really there to use accurately and not even close to what the Target information provides. Talking with the head of the Walmart Affiliate/Tech group, I asked the question about getting live stock information and here are his quotes. "We do not support that ability yet." Then I asked if it was something that would happen soon... "This will take some time as it is a business decision whether to put the data out or not, not simply a technical matter." The information provided by the a…

There is an updated version of the forum software coming. There are a few things in there I am really looking forward to having changed or access to. One major thing will be the speed of responding to busy threads. Right now, you can sometimes wait a minute or more to have your post made active while it sends the email out to everyone. The new forum basically just dumps the response into a queue and you post instantly. I don't know how they didn't fix this a long time ago, but at least its coming. I am going to be looking at and looking to clean out dummy, fake, bad accounts before I do the migration. Over the next few weeks, any of you that know that you are u…

  12. If any of you have 5-10 minutes, I would greatly appreciate it if you can take this survey on Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOL). It is completely anonymous, it is not asking for any email, name, etc. Once the survey is closed, we will publish the results so that you can a learn a little more about the landscape of the world of adult LEGO fanatics Most of the questions are VERY general, nothing will make your head hurt. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/lego_afol_survey Thank you

I am very happy to report that both Darth_Raichu and gregpj have agreed to join the moderator group. Both have been members since 2013 and have always made solid contributions to forum. The forum is busy and so are the moderators. Some are busy getting Masters degrees others are busy at work or life or running their LEGO business. I was also getting a lot of pressure to hire a Canadian as a mod, so gregpj is helping me fill that quota Please congratulate these guys and take it easy on them out there!!

How many Posts do you need to have different titles like a brick troller? Just didn't know.

  15. After a little banter and then some encouragement from Ed, I'm putting the question out there for my fellow BrickPickers if you have any ideas for Awards that can be earned and given to members? Be sure to check out the Awards page before making a suggestion.

OVERALL BRICKFOLIO VALUE AND COLLECTION DETAILS It is only updated until december 2014. Anybody else has this problem. It could be because I adjusted settings to EUR ? or country (Netherlands / Europe)

  18. Started by fieldbricks,

So, I think that one reply to this post would be sufficient if I get a good enough answer, but what does the actual monthly listing values account for? For example, does the price sold for an item include the cost of shipping, or is it just the original price? ALso, just exactly how accurate is the average compared to real world? I never seem to find sets that come even close the the monthly average on ebay, so someone please give me an insight on where the data comes from.

Hi everyone. I'm trying to add a Lego Promotional Polybag set, but the Brickfolio does not know them despite being official Lego product and having the 5 digits on the bag. They are available for purchase only when we buy fuel at any Shell station in the Philippines, and was strictly enforced (gladly so), because I tried to buy them without purchasing fuel and all gas stations that I went to were adhering to the exclusivity of the promo (and I'm happy about that). Can anyone please help me identify them, as they might be known as something else? I've attached a photo of the set. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Not sure if anyone else has had a chance to try out the Gallery feature, but I just uploaded some pictures of my quick MOCs that I make when I take my kids to Legoland Discovery Center just outside of Chicago. Kudos to Jeff and Ed on this gallery feature! It's easy to use, has some key features (like rotate image), and really shows pictures well. I would invite anyone to check out my Gallery, but I'm not sure how members can access it. I suppose you can try to click on my user name to see if it offers you the option to check the Gallery.

  25. Ed and I want to create a page here in the forum (or somewhere) that will allow anyone who has an eBay and/or Amazon store to create a banner ad and advertise their store during the holiday season. Just PM me with a 728x90 banner and any small message about possible deals that you might be offering. Also make sure you include a link to your store and store name if there is one. If you want to include your Brickpicker name, let me know, otherwise I will keep it anonymous. This can be a good way for you to bring some new life to your store and get your holiday season sales off to a good start.
