We tweaked the Amazon Discounts feed to show all LEGO sets that are discounted 15% OFF or More!!! There appears to be more discounting as of late and 15-20% off of a large $200 set is a worthwhile savings and should be brought to Brickpicker member's attention.

On select sets, the Brickpicker Accountant Guide gives strategy on whether the specific set is a good or bad investment, and why. This is one of my favorite features on the site. I was wondering if there could be a complete section on this instead of just finding them randomly while searching sets? Or maybe there is and I'm blind? If there isn't, I think it would be highly beneficial for amateurs such as myself.

Hello... June's sales data has been added to the database and all of the indexes have been updated as well. If you haven't already noticed, a CAGR or Compound Annual Growth Rate statistic has been added to the tool bar in the Price Guide/Set Guide pages. For an explanation, please read the Brickvesting Blog on CAGR. Also, for those of you who want to know, this months "mean" or "average" for the thousands of LEGO sets we have a CAGR stat for is 12.81%. Any questions, feel free to ask. Ed Mack

I'm not sure which forum exactly this best belongs in, but here's my question. I've been beginning to enter my collection into my Brickfolio. (No simple task, mind you.) I'd barely started when a question arose: when entering the condition of the set (new or used) do I enter the current condition, or the condition it was in when I bought it? To give an example; I bought 6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase, new, unopened, for 15.99. I've opened it now, so it's used, but it was new when I bought it. Entering it into my Brickfolio now, do I mark it as new or used? Any help appreciated!

If you were wondering what the new CAGR statistic is on the top right hand side of the Set Detail Page, I wrote up an explanation in the Brickvesting Blog. Check it out. Any questions, please feel free to ask. I think it will be an important statistic going forward...

If you already haven't noticed, we made small changes to the PRICE AND SET GUIDE PAGE. Jeff made the photos a little more prominent and added links to the British and European Amazon.com sites. The Amazon.com listings also show current discounts and percentages off(in green). We will also be adding some other British and European stores to give Brickpicker members more options when pricing and purchasing LEGO sets.

I noticed on Hoth Bricks that there was a little write-up on Brickpicker and that some of the users have responded in what appears to be a negative fashion. I can't read the write-up or the complaints (sure I could copy and paste everything into a translation site, but what fun would that be?) so I was wondering if I could get a little synopsis. Thanks!

In case you haven't already noticed, we have added video reviews of LEGO sets from THE BRICK SHOW. In case you are unfamiliar with Jason and Stephen and their LEGO video review site, THE BRICK SHOW, check out the links on the bottom left corner of the homepage. Jason and Stephen do an excellent job of reviewing various LEGO sets and minifigures and also announces LEGO news from time to time. Their reviews are in depth, informative and entertaining. We hope to add their reviews on the Price Guide page for the various sets he critiques very soon. Check them out...

If you already haven't noticed, we added Amazon.com's Best Sellers in the Toy Building category on the homepage. The TOP 100 SELLING LEGO SETS ON AMAZON.COM shows the most active and sold units(LEGO sets) on Amazon.com. Similar to the EBAY TOP 50 SELLING LEGO SETS , this data should enable you, the LEGO investor/collector, gauge which sets are hot and which are not. NOTE: The data is updated continually and the LEGO set in the uppermost left hand corner is the Top Selling set on Amazon.com, with decreasing sales from left to right, down the list.

Just launched a new page that will show what the Top 50 most sold sets on eBay were from our most current database update. It will be updated every time the database gets refreshed. This is a great tool to see what the trends of the current most popular selling items are. Perhaps you will see sets on there that you own and might want to part with, now would be a good time to sell those since they are hot with community. It's just another helpful research tool to see what's happening in the LEGO market. Take a look: View the Top 50 most sold LEGO sets on eBAY EDIT: Not only are the TOP 50 SOLD LEGO SETS on EBAY available at the above link, you can also see the TOP SE…

Hi everyone, I have been working on something for a few days. It is a LEGO set compare tool. You will be able to enter in up to six sets. If you feel that I need to add more sets on to compare, I will, not a problem. It will give you side-by-side comparison of the sets which includes the basic set information as well as the value information. I feel this will be a great tool when you are having a hard deciding on what set to buy next, wondering the difference between two or more sets or trying to come up with good pricing to sell sets. Take a look, try it out. Any bugs, report them to me. Any ideas or thoughts on what else would be good to add to it, let me know…

A new feature on Brickpicker is the creation of Price Guide Set Badges (I have attached two examples below). You can just copy and paste the provided code on your website/blog and your eBay listings. It's a great way to add details to help sell your Lego sets. You can select from 12 different currencies (more coming) and it will update daily to reflect changes in the exchange rate values. Right now there are two templates to choose from, but I will create more that are different sizes and have templates that go along with the themes of the sets. Let us know what you think or what else you would like to see included on the Set Badges! Thanks, Jeff
