  1. I'm subscribed to the Daily LEGO Deals - USA, and recently I'm not getting the new post, but this instead (see image). Has something changed? I get about 50% of the new posts, the rest are this message.

    Hi, Starting sometime today, all of my email subscriptions have only had some of the post's content in the email and then followed by "...". Like, only a certain number of characters are showing and then I have to click on the "View Post" link to see the whole post. Again, this just started at some point today. Did something change with the site? Is there a way for me to change this back so I see the full post instead of just the first half sentence or so? Thanks!

    This is more of a programming question. Obviously the site used to use ebay sold listings to calculate values for the brickfolio. A recent comic book app has split ways with another company that supplied them with sold comic book values. In terms of difficulty, how hard is/was setting up a system that records ebay values? I assume you have to pay to get the data from ebay then design you own program to calculate values? How long did this take and how difficult was it?

    This is something I have wanted to try for a while to help. You should now start seeing a new feature in the sidebar called "Set Trend Tracker" (Work in Progress title, will come up with something more catchy later, maybe like "Brick Tracker???"). What I want to accomplish here is a way for you the member to suggest sets to target for monitoring as far as stock and pricing. There will be another add-on widget to this that will then take the top voted sets and show current tracking information for you to come in and target.     Before the recent forum update, whenever I use to click on "view new content" and go on a thread, it used to take me to the first unread post, now it just goes to the first page. Is anyone else having this issue and know how to fix?

    The new site design looks great, but I've noticed that all of the emailed subscriptions now only show a "preview" of the new message that was posted. Like the first x number of characters and not the entire message and all the content along with it. Can this functionality be changed back to sending the full post content rather than just a preview? Thanks!

  10. Today it's nice to see that BrickPicker has achieved the milestone of hitting 100,000 registered users. Sure all of those members are not active, but regardless it's a nice achievement to hit, something Ed and I never would have thought would have hit years ago.     While trying to add new sets to my brickfolio, I noticed that some (newer) set are showing wrong set numbers/wrong sets are shown. Searching on brickpicker for e.g. 10266 (NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander) shows up as {D2C SET}, https://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=10266-1 The set 60230 (People Pack - Space Research and Development) is shown as Bionicle Cartridge Pen, https://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=60230-1 Is this a bug or a feature?   14. Doing a big upgrade like this will have it's pluses and minuses. Just like anything else, with new technology, new features and apps will be able to be created. With that, there needs to be code and structure changes to make it work better for the future. This is happening right now with the latest forum upgrade. There were a few bugs during the upgrade process and a lot of changes. Everything is being looked into and a lot is being worked on. Index Recent Posts widget, Bottom Post Page Widget, Awards App and Mobile App are all in development right now.   15. I was trying to view one of the break down threads of some of the more high profile sets, when I noticed none of the break down blogs are working anymore. Clicking on any of the links gives a "configuration or server error," and displays a page saving oops something went wrong, error code EX-100. I was wondering if anyone knew about this?

    I have been getting a lot of requests if people can post links of listings or to their listings on eBay or elsewhere. We are going to make the classifieds module in the forum live again and allow you to post sets, minifgures, lots, and request sets from other members. This is a very basic, but functional FREE service. Post your items and members will reach out to connect with you. No transactions are done though the site. You manage it any way you want and complete your transaction. There is a feedback module for members to leave on the transaction. There is a spot in your account settings where you can go to enter in a few defaults for each listing to save time…

    as others (not being in US region) Im quite disappointed that BP for the course of the past year is unable to display "avg prices" for a lot of sets outsde the US region. Im familiar with methodics that there has to be some relevant amount of sets being sold (cca 50 or so) to publish some relevant information.. but what should I think of the situation when the first wave of BrickHeadz for the last 6 months HAS NOT GOTTEN any EU, UK or AUS relevant price???? These items are being sold on the espective ebay sites. And not liike "two per month"..
