So, I have found about ten of these on sale for $27.38 a piece AFTER taxes. This seems like a really good deal. But, it also seems like one of those sets that doesn't really look like it's going anywhere. Anyone have any thoughts?

For anyone who is wondering who is Jek-14, he has a description of the minifigure in a magazine advertising for the Yoda Chronicles that I received from the Lego Store. We also see the descriptions of all the other SW sets to be released in the Summer wave. Just so you know, there are no clone troopers with individual identities. I was on Eurobricks earlier today and I came across these nice pictures of the new Summer 2013 Lego Star Wars sets. Looks like a great wave especially for Episode Two fans IMO. 6 of the 8 sets are remakes of previously released sets. Do you think these sets will do well or do you think most of these sets will flop on the secondary market when they retire? Link to the Eurobricks post.

Is there a significant difference in the investing potetial of Clone Wars sets and the Original Star Wars movie sets? I would think that there would be more people interested in the original stuff, but the Clone Wars stuff is also hugely popular.

Just read in Fox news that Disney plans to release a new Star Wars movie every summer starting with episode 7 in 2015. Every other year they'll release a spin off movie in order to revitalize the franchise. Any thoughts to how this will effect Lego?

What set would you like to see from any incarnation of the Star Wars Expanded Universe. Anything is fair game including comics, books, and video games. I would love to see an Outrider from Shadows of the Empire. A Dash Rendar with his droid. Oh yeah. I suppose I could MOC it with MF parts but I like Lego to do the creative work.

Lego only made two of these sets: the Imperial Star Destroyer and Millenium Falcon. Did they cut the line because of low sales or what. These sets haven't appreciated well historically, but they are making a comeback. Would anyone want to see the line renewed?

I have a 7163 Republic Gunship with parts in new condition and a new sticker sheet, but without box or instructions. I'm not sure what to do, should I get some instructions and keep it to sell later or should I get rid of it before the new set comes out? I'm planning on getting the new one for my collection and don't really need this too. Some advice would help, and maybe there are others in my situation.

Many of you don't care about Clone Wars, but there were a lot of good things Lego could have made from it. I would have liked to seen some sets from the episodes where Ahsoka is hunted down by Trandoshans and meets Chewbacca. We also needed a set with the clone commando Greggor.

Star Wars sets have a proven track record, but since Clone Wars sets are not original, are they still solid investments?

I was looking at the boxes of the upcoming wave of Star Wars sets and it seems like a lot of the figures except for some battle droids all have the 'new' label above them on the box artwork. I enjoy the minifigures they are coming out with and the level of detail they are incorporating into them, but does it drive anyone else nuts that there are so many coming out? Does Lego have their finger on what drives the sale of their Star Wars sets so no matter what they produce if they throw a couple of 'new' minifigures people will buy it up even if the set is virtually identical to it's predecessors?
