Not sure if it's been mentioned, but there's a 20 points back on $40 promotion/coupon at Kmart. Could be a good deal with the new Star Wars sets. Additionally, the new sets aren't marked as Hot Buy, so you can stack additional dollar off coupons. I was able to get 2 Carbon-Freezing Sets, 75137, for about 45 with 20 in points back (had a 5 off 35 toys coupon I was also able to use). If you want to apply the coupons manually, just copy the code: Go to the mobile coupons page, copy long number string, paste in apply a code box. ****************************************************************************************************** Update by jaisonline : Since this thread deals with Bricklink Q&As plus general discussions, I'll be merging (and maybe removing) other bricklink related threads into this one. ****************************************************************************************************** Figured there is tons of questions about selling on Bricklink. Does anyone use the 'my cost' slot when adding items for sale, and if so, how do you calculate your cost per piece when parting out a set? Do you just use the piece count divided by price y…

I just found out about shopgoodwill.com the other day. They seem to have a boatload of listings for LEGO. I looked through some of the completed auctions and there were a few good deals to be had. There were also lots of ridiculous overpays (especially once shipping was factored in). Does anyone have any experience buying LEGO this way (I'm assuming some of you must)? Any horror stories to tell?

KMart's imminent demise has been discussed here before, but CNN Money posted an update yesterday for their 2015 earnings report. http://money.cnn.com/2015/06/08/investing/kmart-sales-decline-sears-eddie-lampert/index.html?iid=SF_LN

Since this is an unchartered territory for most of us, I am starting a new thread to keep everything organized and in one place. Looks like different BPers are having different issues with their orders, feel free to post your experience here. All my orders are marked as shipped at this point, but I didn't go crazy on Sunday over to you

I thought this might be a good topic for some of us and maybe we can keep a running list. Here are some of the new sets that are not marked "Hot Buy" or appear to work with coupons. This will at least give us a place to discuss them. My cosmic cubes say shipped. But the tracking doesn't show anything yet. We will see what comes. Hopefully its breast pumps since I can't ever use a damn coupon on them at TRU.

I've been doing some "window shopping" around bricklink pricing out some older retired sets I might want to add to my collection. I noticed that quite a few sellers have disclaimers stating things like" -item is not my responsibility once it's dropped off at the post office -not responsible if item is damaged/lost in mail -buyer is responsible for submitting usps insurance claim if item is damaged This seem odd to me. I know bricklink is not ebay, but this stuff would never fly on ebay. I figured the general consensus is that the seller is responsible for getting the purchased item to the buyer in the condition it was described in. That's how I operate…

Sad news from ERIC Admin Leaving BrickLink.com In case you don't know me, my name is Eric Smith. I was originally involved with BrickLink as the web host, starting back in 2001. I assisted Dan with 3 or 4 server upgrades as the site traffic grew and helped out occasionally with technical questions he had. It was exciting to see this site grow over those years, watching the number of users and parts climb each month. I continued hosting the site for Dan Jezek until he passed away in September 2010. I was asked to serve as BrickLink Administrator by Dan's family, in addition to hosting the site. The site saw an explosion of growth between 2010 and 2013, …

Hey Brickpickers, please DM me on here (with the link to the item and seller profile) whenever you see a suspicious looking Lego listing on Walmart.com going forward. We are working to identify and de-list all bad actors in toys and games there this season. You can send non-Lego links too if clearly suspicious.... Pretty much as soon as we identify the bad actor we can have them banned, so keep em coming as they pop up.

As I've been working my way through my bulk sets, I've been finding myself with some leftover pieces. I was originally just going to sell them off in pound lots. But, as my wife as been seeing the fruits of my labor lately, she's really wanting to tackle a lot more. I have a small Bricklink store, and it hasn't done much business. I don't have much inventory listed online, so it's understandable. Now that we've become more savvy with sorting, and have better defined our business plans, we want to get our Bricklink store really going. I'm trying to figure out the best way to store parts. I imagine it's something like this. Or, does anyone have any better …

I know this is amazon lego thread, but my question is for walmart. Common factor is lego. Received an email from walmart today from Walmart Trust & Safety <[email protected]> with subject LEGO Review - Action Needed It has been some time since your account has been reviewed for LEGO. To have your account re-reviewed we ask that you answer all the following questions as soon as possible: Are all items on hand? Where are your suppliers located? How long have you been working with these suppliers? What is your return policy? Are you able to provide your own images and con…

Jeff and I want to pick the brain of all of you Bricklink store owners. What would consider the piece counts for store sizes. For example...How many pieces does a large Bricklink store carry? A medium store? A small store? An X-Large store? Thanks.

I am starting a Brickowl store. I have used Bricklink for many years and was holding out for version 2.0. I am uncertain about its future so I decided to look at other marketplaces. Brickowl looks nice, easy to use, clean and responsive. I have a few questions to anyone who has a store. Did you set up a stripe payment method? This allows buyers to use their credit card directly at the store. If anyone has used this, are the fees any better? Any hassle or headaches that have come from this method? What kind of traffic are you seeing? I know the site is only a year old but I am curious if the community is picking up on it. Any other thoughts a…

Hey Brickpickers, I'm still deployed, but at least getting closer to my return back to the U.S. this summer. My oldest son sent me a news article a couple days ago, and I found it very interesting. Apparently my current hometown, Columbus, Georgia (home of exotic Fort Benning) is getting a Bricks & Minifigs LEGO store. I was not familiar with this particular franchise until I read the article. After a cursory amount of research, I've learned they have approximately 30 retail locations in U.S. and Canada. The official website describes their mission statement as: Bricks & Minifigs® is your one-stop LEGO® shop! We are the largest toy store of our kind, sp…

As it seems like there are some members new to the part buying aspect of Bricklink, I thought I'd share some information on programs that can make it easier. Bricklink is a great thing to have, but using it at first feels like a time machine to 15 years ago and shows you just how bad online shopping can be on an outdated website design. That said, two programs that can relieve some of the pain are Brickstore and Brickficiency. Brickstore essentially lets you manage the Bricklink database in a more powerful and easier to use way. Imagine the Bricklink parts/sets catalog combined with Excel. I primarily use it to check prices and inventory levels of parts and sets, to…
