Too early? Anyone else looking to make a score on Black Friday? Last year I was able to grab 75054-1 AT-AT and 75055-1: Imperial Star Destroyer at 40% off. (Should have gotten more) Any guesses what sets people would like to see as a Black Friday deal?

I am in the process of acquiring these Lego sets. He is asking $1000.. If I buy them today (maybe in next 3 hours) and as a lot. No boxes, but states all are complete and with manuals. Thoughts? $1000 is not a small amount to shell out at once.

Hey Everyone, I'm hoping that some of you can weigh on with some quick advice. I have the opportunity tomorrow to buy several pallets of LEGO at 75%+ off MSRP. The question is how much effort should I put into being selective with what I'm buying? Or should I just buy it all and figure it out later?? haha Some examples of what is available are below. I'm being offered a 100% complete MF 10179 1st Ed set. Reasonable price I think, $2800. Everything except certificate envelope and box. Everything's in good condition but there's one detail that confuses/worries me.. The certificate states it's no 14,342 (made up, it's in 14 thousands), but the plaque has the "12 laser cannons" error. Wasn't that error supposed to be limited to the earliest run on the 10179? The seller is local, so I can check it out myself... I hope one of you SW vets can help me! Love you all!!

I have a chance to buy a used 10241 for $60, it is 100% complete with instructions, box and still has some sealed bags and the stickers are not applied. Is this a good deal or should I pass?

So I was visiting a friend who is relocating and I noticed that he had some lego sets that he intends to sell. Since he knew I collect legos, he asked me for my opinion on the lego sets. There was a Taj Mahal fully built (no box or manuals) with some bricks that have faded. I would say the faded bricks are about 20% on one side. A Cafe corner which looks complete (No box or manuals). A Grand Carousel which looks 90% compelete (No box or manuals) and some castle set that is 70% complete. How much should I offer for those sets and tell him that they are worth?

I saw this walmart have 20 set 9472 for $40 each. Should I buy them all since they are retired or no?

With the current TRU sale it is about $100 shipped. Should I wait for a BOGO sale or am I losing the last opportunity to get it below or at MSRP? Thanks for input.

This set seems to be getting more and more scarce at Target (and does not seem like it will ever go on sale). I'm wondering if it is nearing EOL and thinking about just biting the bullet and paying retail for it. I've only seen it at a couple Targets near me lately. Time to buy now despite having to pay MSRP??

I got these 2 sets. I know they aren't "real" lego sets, but they are certified Professional sets. Not sure about how many were made. But anyone here know what they could be worth? Never seen anything like them around before. Nothing on eBay or google. I know they were made for SalMar as an internal thing, at the time SalMar had 1350 employees, so I don't think they made a lot of these. Both are sealed, but have a few dings here and there, so not in 100% on the outside.

Good Evening. I have an opportunity to buy a lot of partially build sets. The goal is to rehab them to completion and sell on ebay. Problem is the guy selling does not have manuals for them and I am not sure what those sets are. Could you let me know the ball park number I should offer for this? Hi all, So this would be my first large purchase and I wanted to get opinions on this. Now, seller claims all the booklets shown are complete in this lot including mini figures. Seller said they are very particular about these sets and keeping them together. Containers are included with this lot. Obviously it's all jumbled but I love sorting, I swear it's therapeutic. I know images are slightly blurry and numbers are hard to read. Asking seller for better pics currently. But let's say pieces are all there. No boxes, just booklets and complete sets. I found a going out of business sale at a local toy store...40% off all legos...the best I saw was the 9467 Ghost Train...original price was MSRP...so is $47.99 a good price for this set? Worth it? They had 5 left. Thoughts?

Yo guys, my local Walmart was hiding a bunch of sets in the back of the garden center. I was able to score 2 Helms Deep for 70 bucks a pop and 3 Mines for 40 each. They have like 7 or 8 Gungan subs left and they dont look like they are going ANYWHERE. Theyre marked down to 40 bucks. What do you guys think?? Even worth it at 30 bucks??

my friend is trying to sell me 2 Lego store displays and I need help figuring out their vale. first one is the newest Chima one that displays Lavels fire lion 70144 and one other set with mini figures, new in shipping box. the other set features Star Wars AT-AT walker and snow speeder. both these sets light up and are displayed in a plastic box. have an opportunity (if you can call it that) to buy 20 lbs of minifigs for $4500... say one fig is 4.5g (0.01lb) it works out to be 2000 figs for $4500 or $2.25 per fig. i don't do a lot of mini figure selling so wanted to throw this up here for some feedback. thanks!
