The selection is very limited, but Sears has some sets on sale (10%-20%), and this $50 off $200 code works just fine on them: 941612031. So the total discount can reach 40% on a few sets. The code expires on November 12th.

I saw the thread for Chapters/Indigo discount codes but Sears.ca has basically the same thing until Aug 14. Code #941612810- $20 off at least $100 purchase (potentially 20% off) Code #941612811- $50 off at least $200 purchase (potentially 25% off) So depending how much you spending between Sears and Chapters you might wnat to compare what deal would work out best for you.

The coupon code is 941612846. Says it's good on toys and much of the Lego is on sale. Might stack nicely but unfortunately their mobile site scums and won't show me more than 10 sets.

Was just there an hour ago looking around generally and they have 8 or so Helms Deep on the shelves. Unfortunately they are at retail price ($180 I think it was) and most are a little scuffed somewhere. But if you absolutely need one....

North of the border is cheaper than south of the border. More Americans are bound to raid up north. Would you be willing to pay 199USD plus state tax for a tumbler? Or pay 229CAD plus taxes for a tumbler? Do the math and you'll put together a massive list to clean out at the lego store, and just dump it back down south.

Hey guys, just a heads up. Toysnbricks is reporting that Series 11 is now Available up here. Take a look at the comments; one member reports finding them in Calgary indicating that Westerners may be able to pick them up early as well. Obviously this doesn`t necessarily constitute a "deal" but figured this is the best place to share.I`ll be checking my stores this afternoon in hopes of finding them. Will report back this evening. Happy Hunting!

Hi folks, How do you ship your Minifigs? Do you just put them in a standard envelope with regular postage? Thanks!

I haven't had much experience selling too many things other than polybags and minifigures so I am always very surprised by how much larger items and parcels cost to ship. I always end up charging too little for shipping and my profit is almost nonexistant or I end up selling at a loss. I was hoping to create a shipping price guideline so people can refer to it for the future. This will probably change once the new postal rates come into effect next month though. Any help would be appreciated from seasoned sellers! Small bubble envelope (good for polybag or minifigs) Within Canada - $1.34 To US - $2.65 International - $5.20 Small parcel (size of Captain Ame…

Seeing as it has left par well behind and is headed for 85 cents US soon, I have to say this is a very good time to be selling into the US market. That's a 15% increase in profit after converting the buyer's US dollars into loonies with no additional work required. Almost makes up for the gap in retail store prices on the 2 sides of the border.

I have two superstores here in Regina and I purchased 5 Geonosian cannons, 2 endor battle packs, a desert skiff and a clone/commando battle pack for 75% off. It was like 6.22 cdn for the cannon!!!! I thought they were 50% off at first then it took another 50% off at the till cause of the pink tickets on them (which came off with no problems!!!) This was at my east store and have yet to see them go on sale at the north store. They have way more lego at the north store so i hope they put it on clearance soon. Im wasting to much gas . Other lego is on sale at 50% off. Eagle and few others. chima bags? not sure what they are but they were 75% off. I think i s…

So I was at my local target in Richmond, BC and saw pretty much all Chima 50% off including cragger command ship (49.99), combat lair (44.99), etc. Select Ninjago sets were 50% off too, like Garmatron for 24.99. But... YMMV

I received an e-mail last Friday letting me know Target was putting all new items on clearance for January, so i checked 1 store out (albeit a bit late) to see what they had left. Many LEGO Movie sets/Hero Factory/City were %30 off that i could see. Also the TMNT movie sets were discounted like crazy, i don't know MSRP on these but the big turtle lair was $35.99. Didn't see any Super Heroes or SW on sale though, but as always; this will differ from Target to Target. Anyways figured i'd share. Nothing amazing that i could see, but there might be some good stuff at other stores.

Just saw Target Canada tweet a coupon for %10 off on October 25th/26th. Looks like it's off entire purchase and not just 1 item. I think the sale on the Lego items like the Star Destroyer ended(?) so i doubt there's anything really worth using this on, but figured i'd pass it along! http://www.target.ca/assets/pdf/ThankFall_Coupon_EN.pdf There are some exclusions, but Lego isn't listed.

Woah, that would explain the lack of stock and clearances going on... If you follow CBC on twitter they are now confirming that Target is pulling it's Canadian Operations. http://pressroom.target.com/news/target-corporation-announces-plans-to-discontinue-canadian-operations#sf35546962 Time to watch for everything going on clearance! On the downside though this is pretty sad

My father-in-law knows I love Lego and was cruising the Target at Westmount Mall in London, ON. He came across 50% off Attack of the Wargs and Shelob Attacks, which is basically what TRU.ca had as their Black Friday sale (although they backordered me and never delivered the actual sets). Anyway, I was at the Windsor location yesterday and they didn't have these on the shelves at all, and my father-in-law bought the three Wargs in London, but for those of you not in these cities, might be worth a stop at Target on the way home from work. I also think one of the bigger Creator Sets was 50% off, but he couldn't recall the name of it. Happy hunting!

So I was at my local Canadian target at lunch today (Greater Vancouver area) and they have started clearance on the current LOTR sets. My location had Mines of Moria for $69.99, Shelob Attacks for $17,99 and Weather Top for $52.99. Not bad pricing especially on the Weather Top. Add an extra 5% discount with Redcard and there's a few deals to be had. I don't know if this clearance is chain wide or not tho, it's the only location near me. Orc Forge was also on clearance for $34.99, but there were none left because I bought the last 23 they had yesterday! lol

Just got back from my local Target (Greater Vancouver Area). This weekend only spend $50 in store and receive a $10 gift card free valid store wide. I bought $50 in groceries to get my free gift card. I also noticed my store had the new imperial Star Destroyer 75055 on sale for $105 (reg $149.99) 30% discount! I didn't see this sale in their flyer, so not sure if this is sale chain wide or not. So I bought my groceries, put them in my car, and went back in to buy the set. $105 less 5% using my Red Card: $99.75 plus 12% HST = $111.72, less $10 gift card: $101.72! PLUS THEY GAVE ME ANOTHER $10 GIFT CARD for my purchase! The fine print says one gift card per custom…

We will have our 2nd Technic meet and great with builders and enthusiasts of Technic or Lego in general. It will take place in a about a week or two just north of Toronto in Vaughan. If anyone is interested you can PM me. There are several people coming including @loxlego and his brother Dugald who will both be coming and I am sure they will be bringing their current builds.
