Here and there I will try a few new things. Personally I like this, but I want to get some feedback. The activity stream will let you know when people do new things. I disabled a bunch because it would be overkill, but instead of having two spots, one for latest post and one for latest topic, this will just show the order of when things were done. You will see the chronological order in which others have replied as well. There is also a new tab in your menu that says "News Feed" (title will probably change, that is just default). http://community.brickpicker.com/stream.html From this point forward, you will be able to see when new things are posted. If …

In case you haven't already noticed, we have added video reviews of LEGO sets from THE BRICK SHOW. In case you are unfamiliar with Jason and Stephen and their LEGO video review site, THE BRICK SHOW, check out the links on the bottom left corner of the homepage. Jason and Stephen do an excellent job of reviewing various LEGO sets and minifigures and also announces LEGO news from time to time. Their reviews are in depth, informative and entertaining. We hope to add their reviews on the Price Guide page for the various sets he critiques very soon. Check them out...

I love those sections - comments about how the set is predicted to do. Just a minor nitpick: perhaps have timestamp shown on those, so we know when those comments (The Brickpicker Account's Guide to [whatever set is being viewed]) was created? I was looking at a set - can't recall which one - and the comments seem like it would make sense months ago, but not more recently (because something changed about the set recently). I wish I could remember which set it was. I would hate to see something say "Plenty of time on this set, wait till price falls down" when in fact the set's close to EOL and I missed out on getting it at retail (better than reseller prices) …

As I mentioned in a post a few days ago, we are ending the Brickpoints program here on Brickpicker. Ending Brickpoints was both and easy and a hard decision for Ed and I. We really like the points program and have generated dozens of ideas for how to earn them and how to spend them. Of course Brickpoints was going to play a large focus in Brick Classifieds until we really started to ask the questions of how we wanted to do things in the future. Getting feedback, seeing what people are doing on the site all start to help you make changes and move in a new direction. Points are great, but most people really like payment of real tangible items. Moving forward, we would a…

Congratulations to Fcbarcelona101 for being the first Brickpicker member to cash out 20,000 Brickpoints for the #79006 LOTR The Council of Elrond. Fcbarcelona101 built a large number of his points doing set reviews and has done some fantastic blog submissions. Something tells me this is the first of many set purchases coming for him!! Great work Fcbarcelona101!!!

Please would it be possible to have control of the header sections on the View Entire Collection page in the brickfolio? For example we once had control over how the entire collection was listed. Quantity high/low, Condition new/old, Set numerical ascending/decending, Purchase price High/low & most importantly performance % High/low. I remember I always had perfomance set High to Low during the Ninjago 2012 wave. Anyway just a wish I have. Thanks. Best regards Alpha.

I'm subscribed to the Daily LEGO Deals - USA, and recently I'm not getting the new post, but this instead (see image). Has something changed? I get about 50% of the new posts, the rest are this message.

We just added a new feature that keys in on older and retired LEGO sets and their appreciation potential. I wrote a new BLOG ARTICLE about it. Here is the new TOP PERFORMING RETIRED SET CHART. Check it out and I hope it helps you find a hidden gem of a LEGO set...

Just launched a new page that will show what the Top 50 most sold sets on eBay were from our most current database update. It will be updated every time the database gets refreshed. This is a great tool to see what the trends of the current most popular selling items are. Perhaps you will see sets on there that you own and might want to part with, now would be a good time to sell those since they are hot with community. It's just another helpful research tool to see what's happening in the LEGO market. Take a look: View the Top 50 most sold LEGO sets on eBAY EDIT: Not only are the TOP 50 SOLD LEGO SETS on EBAY available at the above link, you can also see the TOP SE…

The Brickpicker Trade forum has been re-opened. One of the things we were waiting for was the feedback app to become available again. I was able to install it a few days ago. This forum is for trades only. Any type of selling needs to be done on Brick Classifieds. All new trade listings will need to be approved. A trade is basically a post that says "I have a Ecto-1 and looking for a Research Institute" (generally something like that). You have something and want something in return. I highly recommend posting photos of the item you have to trade to show people what it is that you have. It promotes safe trading and helps to answer questions about what you are off…

All, I am sure that I am missing something obvious, but I am trying to post a build/review of the 10221 with embedded pictures and I cannot seem to find the toolbar on the "Posting a new topic" page. I am not on the mobile webpage and I know I have done it before, but for some reason it only gives me an option to attached files and not embed them with the text of my post. What am I missing?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to add a Lego Promotional Polybag set, but the Brickfolio does not know them despite being official Lego product and having the 5 digits on the bag. They are available for purchase only when we buy fuel at any Shell station in the Philippines, and was strictly enforced (gladly so), because I tried to buy them without purchasing fuel and all gas stations that I went to were adhering to the exclusivity of the promo (and I'm happy about that). Can anyone please help me identify them, as they might be known as something else? I've attached a photo of the set. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Hello... Jeff and I are doing an interview with TV Tokyo today and we are still looking for a BrickPicker member in the New York/New Jersey area with a substantial LEGO collection they would like to show off. Here is your chance to be seen by millions of people. LOL. Let Jeff or I know. Thanks.

Firstly thanks once again for all this extra data. But you know this will lead to questions from pedantic people like me I have a question and two sort of related examples from either end of the spectrum. How complete is the data for the UK (and I suppose it applies to EU & Aus as well) and how far does it go back?. Six months rings a bell. Example 1. One of the sets I follow is 10230. This has a BP price of

Doing a big upgrade like this will have it's pluses and minuses. Just like anything else, with new technology, new features and apps will be able to be created. With that, there needs to be code and structure changes to make it work better for the future. This is happening right now with the latest forum upgrade. There were a few bugs during the upgrade process and a lot of changes. Everything is being looked into and a lot is being worked on. Index Recent Posts widget, Bottom Post Page Widget, Awards App and Mobile App are all in development right now. The first two in the list should be ready in the next few daysThere is no ETA on the mobile app, but I know it is …

The new forum is LIVE and in what I am calling Beta Mode!! The reason I am calling it beta status is because I know there are still some items that need to be tweaked and figured out yet. Overall, it was a real pain in the butt and hopefully the last time I will ever need to do this. We both truly believe while it was unfortunate to take the forum down for this long, moving forward, the features and ideas we have for this will be worth it. A few things to note (the bad news): All your private messages are not on this forum, you will be starting over from scratch (sorry about that) You will need to add your avatar We are still working out the single sign o…

THE BRICKPICKER LEGO SET REVIEW/BLOG ARTICLE CONTEST IS HERE!!! Jeff and I are proud to announce this contest for all registered BrickPicker members. It will be based on LEGO set reviews, Evalution Corner and Blog articles. We will judge the winners on several aspects, such as overall quantity, content and quality. We will take into consideration the quantity of reviews and articles you submit and the content and quality of those reviews/articles/blogs. Just because you pump out more reviews than other members, if your content and quality are subpar or very average, we can elect someone else the winner. The basic BrickPicker Set Review will be accepted at 1000 character…

Well Ed and I are happy to finally release the updated set guide page that includes pricing for sold listings for the UK, EU Region and Australia. For a while before actually working on the data, I myself was rather hesitant if it was worth all the trouble adding and the cost, but honestly....WOW!!!, there really is quite a difference for many sets and this definitely was a great upgrade and without a doubt makes Brickpicker the most informative LEGO price guide on the internet. Quick note: Make sure you reload your page to down the lastest style sheets and/or scripts to make sure the page looks correct All pricing is based on native currency, there are no more c…

I have seen it happen a couple times already, posts that are unreadable (except through the BrickPicker app) because the URL has invalid encoding. The posts about chapters.ca or the 9525 are a good examples: http://community.brickpicker.com/forum/52-canada/ It happens everytime the post's topic includes non-alphanumerical characters. In the HTML link, such characters have to be encoded by the % character followed by the two digits of their ASCII hexadecimal code. Therefore $ becomes %24, % becomes %25, and so on. It would be great to fix this issue!

Is there a reason we dont have a US version of the EU Stock Inventory tracker (http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/eu-inventory.cfm)? Seems if someone was able to make one for the EU Lego site that it could be easily duplicated for the US site (or any other country specific site).
