Couldn't find a right spot for it so this thread is kind-of for this suitcase and maybe for any future 2017 sets

Hey BPs, just found this site, so helpful. I've been flipping a low volume of WV sets for a few years, but thought I'd get some input on the promo set 40106. Would it be wise to hold on to this set and sell as a bundle with Santa's Workshop after EOL? Sell by itself? It seems the most connected (of the promo sets) to a main WV set. Is anyone else excited about the ROI possibility on Santa's Workshop? I think this will be huge.

Watch at about 0:06 in the video... On the right-side, in front of the Duplo set, we can see a brick-built toy-soldier in the typical Christmas promo packaging! Looks like another promo WINNER again!

New hi-res pic of the offer from the October 2016 LEGO Store Calendar: I had speculated previously that it might be one of the regular advent calendars, but clearly, this is not. Set number 40222. It's a different set than any of the advents. As the image says, it will be free with purchases of $99 or more from October 1-25, 2016.

List from 2016 rumors on hothbricks 40122 Trick or Treat 40123 Thanksgiving Feast 40124 Winter Fun 40125 Santa's Visit 40138 Christmas Train 40139 Gingerbread House 40140 Flower Wagon 40141 Bricktober Hotel 40142 Bricktober Train Station 40143 Bricktober Bakery 40144 Bricktober Toys R Us Store Most are predictable, but Christmas Train 40138 and Gingerbread House 40139 are Interesting. Given the numbering these could be mini builds (4013X), though that would put the christmas train in Jan?, or promo polys (like 40140) and the mini builds are only planed th…

It appears the new polybag continuing the "seasons" theme has been announced on Brickset! I'm pretty pleased with it and will probably get it. What are your thoughts on the "Thanksgiving Feast" polybag?

This year's Christmas polybag has been discovered and unsurprisingly looks similar to the last tree one in 2013 only thinner. Source: Brickset

I absolutely LOVE these sets, and wish I had the dough to buy them! The locations are so cheerful, and there is usually a cool vehicle included. I think these are MUCH better looking and better for display than the traditional lighted porcelin christmas diorama, especially for nerds like us, I was talking to a kid in my homeschool group abot Lego, when the old president of our group walked up. She said that every year, she buys three of that years winter village sets, builds one, and sells the other two to pay for it! It seems funny to me that an older lady (no offense to any of you out there) would think of this or even be interested in Lego! I had just found B…
