Perhaps amazon.ca is finally getting ready to start rolling out better deals! Quite a few nice deals at 35% off - I'm tempted to actually get an amazon.ca credit card with the hopes that future deals will be forthcoming. I can't see how they wouldn't want to expand their toy section in Canada.... My picks out of the deals: Ariel's Magic Kiss, Cargo Truck and the two small Castle sets (for my nephews & a couple for me to build)

My local LEGO store STILL had the MM give away avialable last I checked. No decent sale items there so I'm wondering what set or combo of sets should I target for $75 without going too much over? Otherwise I'm grabbing one of the big exclusives for well over $100...

Hey Canadians, just a heads up Canadian Superstore has ALL Superheroes and Ninjago on for 20% off. This includes all new Superhero sets. Not an amazing deal but if you're looking for some deals on the new sets this isn't bad. Lego selection at my local store is poor but i imagine some might find lots to look at their respective stores. Also my local store had a massive general toy clearance going on, shelves and shelves of random toy clearance. Might be worth checking out! have fun

Got an email this morning, 20% off all month long on select Lego in store and online: Movie, SuperHeroes, Chima, City, SW, Duplo and minifigs. Not HOT but worth it if you want to use up any Plum Pts, have a gift card or stack a 10%-15% off promo code with this promo. I'll be keeping a look out for a couple sets in mind...use up my $200 gift card. Seems like March-May are busy 'buying' months with promo's...got the minifig promo with Lego.ca in March...than 2x vip in April...May 4th promo Hope to see some decent TRU and Amazon.ca deals scattered next few months too. Hey guys, TRU.ca posted their flyer earlier. BOGO 50% on all City, Star Wars, and Super Hero sets. Hopefully that equites to about a 20% discount if you account for TRU inflation on some of the sets. There may be some retiring sets kicking around your TRU, so pick some up if you can!

I have two superstores here in Regina and I purchased 5 Geonosian cannons, 2 endor battle packs, a desert skiff and a clone/commando battle pack for 75% off. It was like 6.22 cdn for the cannon!!!! I thought they were 50% off at first then it took another 50% off at the till cause of the pink tickets on them (which came off with no problems!!!) This was at my east store and have yet to see them go on sale at the north store. They have way more lego at the north store so i hope they put it on clearance soon. Im wasting to much gas . I've been watching Black Gate's clearance at Walmart, and stock seems to be dwindling. I had 4 at the one closest to me and they all sold over the weekend. There are still a few lingering around in the GTA, but at $65 it hardly seems worth going store to store to get them. Amazon has them for %20 off at the moment PMing Futureshop or Bestbuy's price (can't remember which). Black Gate and Council of Elrond are the only 2 sets i have not been able to find at a decent discount yet for the LOTR line (Minus Orthanc of course), but i'm not too worried about Council right now as it is a cheaper set. %20 isn't terrible, but i'd rather bite at %30. Any Canadians use this? What delivery services do you normally use for shipping within our border? Canpar, Fedex, UPS? I assume there's other cheaper delivery services (domestic), but I recently signed up to Venture. Saves you 8% on shipping (and over priced supplies which you should buy elsewhere anyways) and the best part is you pay for regular delivery but get priority faster service and free $100 insurance on every package. I'm guessing it might also be possible to use some of their coupon codes as well on-top of the sales. Also remember to ship to store, not to home! They do not ship their stuff in boxes, just Sears bags. Sale ends Feb 20th.

So the other special at TRU that has hardly been mentioned is the LEGO movie scratch tickets. You bring in your receipts/tickets from the LEGO Movie at any TRU and a scratch ticket. Apparently a limit of 100 scratch tickets per store. I took 3 movie tickets in for 3 scratch tickets and won..... 3 LEGO posters, lol. I'm unsure of what the possible prizes but I think 70809 Lord Business' Lair might be the top prize. Each scratch ticket is also a $10 off coupon at TRU good until March 15 so still worth trying to get these things. Just wondering if anybody won anything decent with these?

Seeing as it has left par well behind and is headed for 85 cents US soon, I have to say this is a very good time to be selling into the US market. That's a 15% increase in profit after converting the buyer's US dollars into loonies with no additional work required. Almost makes up for the gap in retail store prices on the 2 sides of the border.

Regular price is $30 up here so this is a 33% discount and I no longer see the Spongebob theme in their stores. In fact this is the only set from the theme on the website. I bought 4 to get free shipping.

Was just there an hour ago looking around generally and they have 8 or so Helms Deep on the shelves. Unfortunately they are at retail price ($180 I think it was) and most are a little scuffed somewhere. But if you absolutely need one....

TRU.ca has 3817 The Flying Dutchman on sale for $20 ($10 off). Honestly not sure if this sale is new or just an ongoing clearance that i never saw, only just noticed it today. Also the same price on the TRU Canada ebay store, listed as "limited stock available".

Any Canadians used their promo cards (from Dec) lately? Just used mine...of course no Lego discount/deals...just got 2 Shelob's Attacks and 2 new minifigure polybags to make up $60 and get the discount. With the $30 off, the Spiders cost approx $15 each from the $26 retail so it was the 'best deal' I could find haha. Was hoping for some Superheroes sets like Funhouse, Hulk, even Superman vs Lex etc...but no inventory.
