Really Non LEGO Stuff

Since we have a pretty popular "Complaint Thread", I thought it might be a good idea to start an "I Love It! Thread". I'd like to begin with: I love it when I make a big $500 or more purchase because of a sale or great deal and shortly afterward make enough back in sales to cover the costs and then some. It helps with the buyer's guilt.

If there is one thing I have learned, it's that music truly is the most universal language in the world. Besides myself looking for yet another excuse to post anything at all or just a good one to post music videos, I would like everyone here to feel free to post links to some of your favorite tunes and/or talk about what you like to listen to. Consider this thread your very own little "House of Blues" as it were. Akin to the "Musical Picks" topic, I want to hear what your all time favourite movies/television shows are. It can be anything from action to drama to sports to romance (who watches that anyway though?). If you're a Pinhead like me then you know how much of a comeback the pinball industry has been doing in the last few years. Between Stern, who has been around since the beginning still coming up with new tables, to newcomers Jersey Jack Pinball here in the states and Heighway Pinball based in the UK. I....love....COOKING! ....But I hate the cleanup. I used to cook so much with my mother growing up until around middle school I think where the desire just waned. I have concocted the odd dish over the years but nothing that intensive really outside a random burrito or pizza (or random leftovers). As I get older and more set in the way I think things should be, or the way things were, I find myself annoyed and frustrated at a lot of changes to websites and apps. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get a wrench set from Walmart shipped to my home. It's the $6 set that every store should have, and the app and the website says 4 stores in my area have but I went to all four on my hunting rounds and none of them have this item : Hyper Tough 6-Piece Combination Wrench Set, Metric - Walmart.com If anyone has any suggestions on what I'm missing I would appreciate it. I'm in the market for a new laptop or chromebook and looking for a bit of advice from my fellow brickpickers. Too much backstory: I grew up using Macs in the 90s because my dad was an elementary school teacher spearheading the use of computers in education in his district. I used an iBook in college that had so many problems, it was awful, but it was mine, then I got a real nice Macbook Pro with my first paycheck after college and it was quite good, only had it's logic board replaced once! Because we are a global community, I would like to create a thread for talking about the COVID-19 how this has impacted you. I work for a smaller, Chinese-owned tool company. Our workforce after CNY and the extended break was only running at about 40%, of which this is actually on the higher side compared to what I've heard about other, much larger tech companies. While we haven't felt much of the impact here in the US, I am sure we will soon. The way that some companies flow in goods from overseas will really have an impact on store shelves; Stores like Walmart that have large DC's and reroute the flow and quantity of goods so that the shelves don't look as bare.
