Hello everyone, I have been on this site for many many years and have collected legos even longer I had to create this new account because I haven’t been able to get into my old one. Anyways what I’m wanting to talk about in this post is a new idea I came up with for the 60 Drawer stack on cabinets that a lot of us use to store extra parts and pieces. The cabinets have always been great and I love using them but if your in thing like me it can still be hard to see inside while looking for the pieces your needing even tho there clear. I have seen where people use the label makers to label each Drawer but that can still cause some problems if you need to change out the par…

Developments in first half 2018: • Global consumer sales grew 1% in the six months to June 2018 • Revenue has stabilised and growth is flat while operating profit is up 4 percent in constant exchange rates compared with the same period in 2017. • In DKK terms, revenue was 14.3 billion, a decline of 5 percent compared with 14.9 billion in the first half of 2017. Operating profit declined 4 percent to DKK 4.2 billion. Net profit was DKK 3.0 billion, down 10 percent. Cash flow from operating activities was DKK 4.1 billion, compared with DKK 4.6 billion in 2017. These declines were driven mainly by the weakening of the US Dollar. Hello, I am wondering if lego re-released the Vintage Minifigure Collection Vol. 5 from 2010 852769? I see they did make a re-release for vol 1-4 in 2012. Thanks a lot.

Undergoing a corporate relocation at the end of the month. For anyone that's moved their collection, can you weigh in on what else I need to do? What I've done... - Worked with moving company to approve moving a high value collection. (Most say they will not move any type of "collection".) - Provided instructions in person to moving consultant on how to safely move the items. (E.g. double box, stack vertically, pick-up with two hands). I will also have detailed instructions on walls for movers to see. And I can be there to monitor. - Took pictures of everything. - Filled out the movers "High Value Inventory" sheet so that they have to sign…

I have tickets to a limited screening of Back to the Future plus Q&A with Christopher Lloyd and writer / producer Bob Gale this week and was thinking about getting one of my sealed sets of (21103) Delorean Time Machine signed. Would this increase or decrease the set value? I look forward to your thoughts!

Hi guys, I've recently started collecting lego minifgures from the starwar lines and got a batch of lego off from ebay but was wondering if it was authentic. From what I've read there would be the Lego logo printed on each piece if it was authentic. However, i cant there was a © where the Lego logo should be. As for the legs there's only one lego symbol between the two studs at the top. Can someone kindly tell me if this is normal or is my minifigure knock off? The minifgure im referring to is the Lego Clone Gunner from an older series of starwars battle pack. Appreciate any help and thanks in advance!

I assume this has been covered before but my quick search didn't result in anything useful. For my spring break, I am hoping to organize my sets. Right now they are just randomly put on shelves. I have an open shelf, I get a new set, that set goes on that open shelf. So I was wondering what is the best way to organize sets? Do most go by theme? Box size? I want to basically get everything organized and more streamlined.

So I have plenty of experience cleaning used lego by now and have my process down pretty well, but I was curious if anyone who buys large lots of used lego has any good tips for cleaning pieces with applied stickers to them?? I would think you cannot soak them like you can with regular bricks, and I know some people use the washing machine method and I would assume you definitely cannot do that with sticker pieces either. All I could think of is a wet paper towel and wipe them? or even a little alcohol on a paper towel and a quick wipe down? Curious to hear if anyone has figured out a good system for this! Thanks! ?

Just as the title says, I'm wondering if anyone has had good luck ironing starched cloth pieces of Lego like sails and capes. If you had good luck, how did you go about it?

There was a lot of talk recently on the retirement speculation tread of sets people hate. Some because they just wouldn't go away, like the Pet Shop or T1 VW Camper Van, others because they were over produced like the Exo-Suit, some others like Arkham Asylum for not living up to people's expectations. Just wondering what sets people here really dislike, whether as an investment or as a set they built. My personal one is the very first set I bought as an investment, 4 x Superman: Black Zero Escape. They were 55% off and already retired and I thought with the minifigures it had that it would be a surefire winner, instead I'm selling it for a few quids prof…

Maybe it's my age, as the months come tumbling down before I turn 40, but a lot of my favourite mid size sets in the last few years have harked back to when I was a kid, Ecto-1, Mystery Machine, Benny's Spaceship. Look how happy Voltron made @Alpinemaps. Got me thinking to what sets I'd love to see made and I seem to keep coming back to tv sets from decades ago. Maybe this is what Ideas is all about, but I'd love to see a dedicated retro tv theme, here's a few of the sets I'd like to see: A-Team Airwolf Knight Rider Battlestar Gallactica - I know, Disney would never allow it Buck Rogers Magnum PI - Car and helicopter The Fall Guy pickup …

Here´s a list to build on in order to sum up the most important events in the market and on the forum this year. Feel free to add any I missed. It´s in no particular order. UCS Falcon and Saturn V release and supply drama. Lego Group poorer financial results and change of CEO / laying off of staff. @TabbyBoy returning to the game (and leaving and returning). New themes such as Brickheadz, Pirates of the Caribbean (return), Super Hero Girls. Continued trend to wards bigger and more expensive D2C sets. Amazon gating and increase in scams. Facebook Marketplace consolidation. Chinese clone consolidation with paid MOC designs, …

I bought 3 of these after Christmas for $8 each at Walmart. These are fantastic in that the adjustable inserts go all the way to the bottom and there are multiple slots on each row for the inserts to fit into. Try and find them if you need to ave a convenient way to organize your parts. Its even good for if you are building a set, but don't have a devoted tabletop space and might need to move the pieces. I am going to try and get 3 more but I highly recommend them. https://www.amazon.com/Sterilite-Compartment-Adjustable-Christmas-Ornament/dp/B01N455YDY

Seems like a good time to evaluate everyone´s best and worst investment decisions of the year. Please comment with your best and worst decision or purchase (max 2 per person). My best move was to go in hard on Dragon Sanctuaries. Even at RRP, they have brought excellent ROI and opened my eyes to a previously unknown theme. Runner up was 41122 Adventure Treehouse - great little earner at Xmas time when bought cheap. Girlie themes all the way in 2017. My worst move is a tie between over investing in IST 75094s at too high a buy-in and missing out on the TRU flash sale with 70323 Jestro´s Lair at 27 euros. That set is going for 100 right now and looks set to be a w…
