Taking inspiration from chinothegeeko's thread listing all the known Target exclusives, here is one for Walmart's. Every little bit of help in filling this out would be very much appreciated. I'm afraid that I don't have any clearances to report with the start of this thread. I was curious if anyone had any idea of when last years summer clearance reports started rolling in? Are there any sets that should be clearanced out this time of year in favor of the new sets getting the shelf space?

The Walmart Lego section in my town is pathetic. I'm talking 8x10 at the most. Just 20 miles away at a Walmart there is an outstanding collection. Both are large stores. Do the store managers control this?

Thought it would be nice to track all this in one place. Anyone going to be there first thing when they open? Anyone know when they actually open? I'm hoping to score some LR Trains, Jabbas Palace, Unexpected gatherings (I don't know that any of these are going to be on clearance, just hoping) and basically anything else on clearance. Ill post updates of what I see at the different stores in my area tomorrow, I encourage others to do the same Edit: I realized I probably should have put walmart in the title, this is posted in the walmart section though

As eluded to yesterday on the DD and based on some research, it looks like Walmart.com decided to blend their marketplace with their regular website and allow 3P sellers to have the "Buy box" on an item if Walmart is OOS. I did reach out to Walmart inquiring about eligibility, fees and the like more out of curiosity than anything else . So far , for me anyways, this looks like it in in its infancy with more questions than answers. ToyWiz looks to be the new Lego Sheriff in this new Wild West Fronteer , heck their return policy alone is astounding in this day and age. We shall see where this leads.

So I had bought 2 Cloud Cuckoo from Walmart last week, but both boxes were beat up pretty bad. I found CC at a few other places and decided that I would just return the two beat up boxes along with three Turbo Tank mini's that I had picked up as well. I got up to the service desk and the clerk looked at what I was returning and asked why I was returning them. I told her because the boxes were beat up, and that we changed our minds about the turbo tanks. She examined the seals on all the boxes carefully, looked at a co-worker and asked"We have to open these right?". Needless to say I was a little surprised, but seining the condition the two CC boxes I figured that was…

I figure this deserves it's own post. If you look at the red clearance tag on the shelf, it shows when the clearance began. In the case of my Walmart, it began 8/2, or last Friday. When you guys go to your walmart next time, see if it is consistent. Maybe they mark things down further on Fridays?

Based on recent sale prices this one seemed like a steal for being found randomly on shelf. I was Leary about the $25 price tag thinking it was a mistake when I saw the original $90-something peaking through. Worst case my son and I have a nice "little" set to build once he's old enough.

Don't know if I'm adding the pictures correctly, but I was taken quite aback by how this came to me from Walmart.com. Shipping label directly on the box. The label said packing slit in box and sure enough they unsealed it and put the packing slip inside. Writing on the box, creases everywhere. Is this what I should expect from any set of this size? Has anyone else had this happen before?

As reported on other sites all Monster Fighter sets and a few Super Heroes sets have been discounted at Wal-Mart. This is pretty much a nation-wide markdown, but there may be a few Wal-Marts that don't adjust their prices. You can consider this YMMV, but these reports are popping up everywhere. Batmobile & Two-Face $35 Catwomen Catcycle $9 Captain America $9 Loki's Cosmic Cube $13 Monster & Crazy Scientist $35 Vampyre Hearse $25 Mummy $7 Werewolf $13 Swamp Creature $5 Ghost Train $54 Vampyre Castle $69 Go get one or two

OK so I ordered a Tower Bridge with GC and after I received my $40 GC I applied it to order for HH with GC. I received both today. TB arrived in decent shape except for the big white sticker which was easily removed with hair dryer. But the outer box for HH was pretty much mangled. The shipping box was extra large and over 12" deep with ZERO packing. Needless to say the set box is creased and bent and one end was completely open (both seals loose) all the bags are sealed but there are 5 grey plates loose? Is this normal? Packing slip says to go to Walmart.com/Returns which states you may return via mail or to a store. Any recommendations as to which is better? Does …

My wife and I just dropped off the kids for their first day at school and now we have some free time. We want to get new phones. We are not tech geeks and know very little about all of the new gadgets and gizmos now available. We have had our current phones for at least three years now, maybe longer. I want a new smart phone that will enable me to surf the web, send/receive text msg, and most importantly, use that really cool Walmart app that a lot of members use to check store inventories, get specific prices by store, and to scan items. Can somebody who has and uses this app please point us in the right direction as to what to ask for when we go to the AT&T st…

I found this interesting and I wonder if it will someday be available nationwide. http://www.walmart.com/cp/1228541?affillinktype=10&oid=289955.1&sourceid=36271196983297471439&u1=a1ea8c6e804c4d68be8037b9f9778e1d&veh=aff&wmlspartner=lw9MynSeamY

I went on a shopping rampage and could use some advice. I probably pulled the trigger on a lot of these sets when most of you guys wouldn't have, and a lot could be losers. I was also thinking of parting out some of them. I can still return them so. There's a lot to look at here... Any way any advice would be appreciated, Thanks.

Have a feeling you will still get deals. Watch Ebay and Craigslist - these sets are gonna be up there soon for close to half off. Gonna be a lot of people who grabbed stuff and don't care except to flip it for 20$ Could be wrong, but I forsee some constitution trains and Pirate Ambushs, etc. for about $60 or less. Thoughts?

I have been trying to place some Walmart.com orders here and there for the past 10 days. Each time: 1. The order goes through at the website and I get an initial confirmation email from Walmart. 2. My bank or PayPal authorize the charges (but the money isn't removed from my accounts since the orders aren't full processed by wm.com yet). 3. And then I get a payment error email from Walmart.com telling me that the order failed to pass their security checks and has been cancelled. When I contact wm.com customer service (phone or email), they tell me to try again, with another payment method, after 24 hours. I've tried three different payment methods in …

When the Jabba fiasco started, I was skeptical that this was really the end, but I went up to a local Walmart and bought 4 just in case. When it ended, I returned 3 of them and kept the last one to build. About a week ago, I found one on Ebay for way less than retail, so I purchased it. I decided to take the last one back, but didn't have the receipt. After waiting in the horrendously long line yesterday, the woman looked at it, scanned it, and said "That's not ours". So I thought maybe I picked up the one I got off Ebay and not the original. When I compared the two at home, UPC and box are identical. Plus, the one I brought to them yesterday was d…

Last year I bought too many sets during Black Friday from Walmart and they terminated my Walmart+ membership. I haven’t tried to rejoin the program but they’re constantly marketing it to me. Anyone ever have this happen and also have success rejoining either directly or as another household member? Also, how much is too much at Walmart? Walmart is in the stone ages with this draconian “ban after allowing too many orders” approach. All the other retailers have clear limits stated up front and even prevent ordering when over the limit (Amazon).

Has anyone ever gotten this email when ordering from Walmart.com? This happens to me every time I try to order from the site. I've deleted and re-entered my payment info and still I get this email. Thank you for shopping with Walmart.com. Unfortunately, due to an error processing payment information, we have had to cancel the following order.

so yesterday i was at walmart and i saw a huge display of 60032-1 that had a price above it that read 3$. this being a new set, i was curious and went around to the in store price check kiosks, each one said: see sales associate. i figured hey, if says 3$ im gonna get it for 3$. after a heated discussion at the register, i went back with an employee to show them where i found it. they looked at the display with a very aggravated look on their face and well i got it for 3$. yes i was tempted to get more than one, but hey, i didnt want to be too greedy.

Went to good ole Wal-Mart yesterday and saw an employee boxing up all the clearance toys. I saw her packing away tons of toys and rolling them to the back. I stopped and asked her what they will do with them and she said they were told to box up the clearance to make room for Christmas merchandise. She told me they will eventually bring them back out later. I wonder how many old sets are sitting back there. I knew by using the Wal-Mart app on my phone that several sets were showing in stock but no where to be found. Hope they bring them back out at lower prices and not ship them back or something. Wal-Mart doesn't have a huge storage area in the back, so I do not th…

The Walmart near me conveniently has the "scan here for price" thingy right in the Lego section. When I'm over buying groceries, I'll hit the Lego aisle and scan a bunch of items looking for a mismarked item. The annoying part is the super loud beep each time you scan something. Anyway..... I've noticed a few big sets that are gradually decreasing in price in the scanner system - but the price marked on the shelf stays exactly the same. There's a particular $119.99 set that was at about $105 for a week, then $100 even, now today it was at (if I remember right) $84.95. I've watched it go down in price over the course of a month. Same for another large set. And I see…

May be posted elsewhere but I didn't find it. I have been to 6 WMs within a 60 mile radius and have noticed that each one is very different in how they clearance Legos. Talked to a toy manager today at my local WM and here's the details. Corporate office tells all branches to clearance specific items initially (almost always) 20%. Then the store manager gets so much clearance dollars per store at the first of every month to allocate as he/she pleases to each department. It varies but usually the toy manager takes over from there and further discounts clearance items but sometimes the store manager likes to micro-manage and they select the items themselves. My toy manager …
