I have had several shipping problems with amazon as of late. Most recently, I received my Ewok Village......shipped in a large plastic envelope for all intents and purposes......NOT in a box. Needles to say thanks to USPS, corners are smashed, looks like it was probably stepped on, has a vague resemblance to a box at this point. This is the first time I've ordered an item like this that was not shipped in it's own box. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues?? Kinda second guessing whether it is worth ordering through them anymore.......

Received a Rancor Pit from Amazon yesterday. There's slight damage to the box - a nice crease on the top, and some denting on the front. If this was for a personal build, I wouldn't care. But I bought this to pair with a Jabba's Palace that I have. Wondering if I should ask Amazon to dispatch an exchange? Should I just hold on to it and not worry about it? Or should I contact Amazon CS and see what their suggestion is? What would you do?

Well I have a dilemma on my hands. My amazon quick picks just put 10240 Red 5 in my box at 5% off. I know its not a lot $189 vs $199 but it is a deal for a UCS which doesn't go on sale any more. But it has just been released and has a long life ahead. I'm very tempted but its just not that good of a deal. Thoughts?

This may apply to other ways but I can confirm it is at least true for turbotax. I assume many of you use turbotax as well. I just recently did my taxes. Yeah, I know, I'm early...ai't got time to procrastinate anyway upon completion you can elect to receive your federal refund in the form of an amazon giftcard. By doing so they will add 5% to your refund. For those expecting a decent return this could be quite a big deal. A free tower bridge....or 2. Now, can someone here who is less tired and better at math than me do the math equation to see if this is worth it for those of us who use the amazon rewards credit card. Please and Thank You. Is it better to get the …

I looked it up and they have referral fees, variable closing fees and a bunch of other crap. Could anyone simplify this and give the fees for selling lego on Amazon. Thanks.

Since there has been plenty of questions lately about the Amazon WH deals, I decided to post pictures of some of the set I bought from them, hopefully that will help address some of the concerns out there. Note that this is my own experience and that YMMV. Always pay attention to the product description-however that doesn't always mean that that is what you will get-and never ever pay over MRSP unless the set has been long retired or something to that sort. The Amazon WH price will depend mainly on : 1- The price of a new set that is listed on Amazon 2- The condition of the "used item Tower of Orthanc : 150$ (taped end) HH: 135$ (broken seals, complete)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B004478GKQ/ref=dp_olp_collectible?ie=UTF8&condition=collectible Collectible offers for LEGO Pharaoh's Quest Scarab Attack 7305 Just noticed you can get this NIB for $6.99 and free shipping if you're a Prime customer. Normally I think this has been selling (or listing) in the $10-$13 range (all-in cost). Although box may be damaged. I ordered one for my daughter who really wanted one and outside of waiting for an auction to occur, this seemed to be the best deal. I think it showed there were several available when I ordered it.

After weeks of nothing, I just noticed two LEGO items in my Quick Picks. Nothing I am going to jump on but I hope the trend continues and we start to finally see some things worth buying.

I've sold books only on amazon so I'm vaguely familiar with the process, but I was unable to sell toys this holiday season due to their restrictions for year-long selling. I've been paying attention to veteran amazon sellers, (especially Jaredseiders!), when the topic comes up and want to try moving some lego this year... So when does amazon allow new sellers to list lego (jan 1?, dec 26?...) and what requirements would a new seller have to meet to be able to sell during the holiday season? Any other comments or thoughts? As always, I appreciate the insight of this community!

It's at full retail, but at least we all get another crack at it. At the time of this writing, they had over 999 units. With that many in stock, I would imagine we will see a sale again before they are gone. This set is going to be a great investment! If you thought you missed it when it retired and then sold out, this is your shot at redemption!

So DNIIM wrote an awesome blog entry about Amazon Quick Picks on the Today's Deal page. Is this feature still available on Amazon? If so, I am having a really hard time finding it. I'm logged in, and I'm on the Today's Deal page, I scroll all the way down, and I don't see it...

Just go to the Gund Bear item page here Amazon purchases of $75+ in qualifying toys (incl. Lego), the buyer can get the free Gund 2013 Amazon Bear Just add to cart and the discount will be reflected before confirming payment. Since some of you are buying some sets, gifts, etc. Here is a chance to get yourself something for FREE!!!

Looks like the party's over. I tried adding 7939/7938 to my cart and checking out with both my Canada/US addresses and none work. Hopefully I'm wrong and that it's only for those two sets.

Hello All, I'm new to Lego investing but have noticed that Amazon's pricing across Europe seems really random even though it seems to come from the same central distribution centre. For example 10225 - Lego

Sorry guys, total newb here. I tried searching the forum and couldn't figure out the answer and I suspect this is something that every brick investor knows without needing to ask. Does Amazon.fr ship lego to the US? Even using google translate I cant figure out exactly what the problem is. I keep getting error messages that my order cannot be shipped to my location because of a restriction, but when I try and figure out why I end up going around in circles. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Looks like if you go to Amazon and scroll to the bottom to press releases, there is an article saying that they will now deliver Sundays to select areas with a greater expansion of the Sunday delivery in 2014. Just an FYI. I thought it was interesting. Maybe not necessary, but will be a good way for the USPS to pick up some much needed cash.

I tried...really I did. Ordered ONE Friends Dolphin Cruiser from Amazon. First delivery both the outer and inner box were stepped on. Second try, exterior box great, Lego box had ripped corner. Third try today...see photo. Note the gaping hole. Exterior box fine, but whoever packed it did not pay much attention. Amazon is going to make it right... but this is tiresome.
