I've noticed several times now over the last month or more that LEGO has specifcally highlghted as an exclusive from their sales. Latest example was an email I got today for 20% toys. Sure enough, LEGO excluded. It never used to be excluded from sales, from my recollection.

  2. For anyone who collects Airmiles' second form of air miles currency: "Air Miles Cash".... they now offer e-vouchers for TRU Canada online and in store. 95 points = $10 190 Points = $20 Not huge, but for someone like me who doesn't use air miles for travel... this is better than their alternatives! https://www.airmiles.ca/arrow/SponsorsDetails?Nr=vendor.id:100323

Sears.ca has some Lego sets %20 off again: http://www.sears.ca/catalog/lego/11050-100003664-400002270#guidedNav Most of these sets have previously been on sale on sears.ca, some were even %30-35 off during the holidays, but there are a few on this list that were not part of the holiday sales like the Millennium Falcon and Attack on Weathertop (which i intend to get a few of). I'm guessing it might also be possible to use some of their coupon codes as well on-top of the sales. Also remember to ship to store, not to home! They do not ship their stuff in boxes, just Sears bags. Sale ends Feb 20th.

For us Canadians...free neat little lawn mower with $30 Lego building set purchase. Looks like a cool vehicle build. In the flyer starting tomorrow. Just in time for Halloween and you horror/Walking Dead/zombie fans, put some red nail polish on the mower blades and act out a zombie scene with minifig parts/pieces scattered.

It has been touched on in other threads but RCSS has some serious discounted items to report on. I've purchased a big bulk of items this week. Everything I list is 50% off: 75003 A-wing 75015 Alliance Tank 75016 Spider Droid 75022 Mandalorion speeder 76003 Metropolis Showdown 76004 Spider cycle chase 76008 Iron Man vs Mandarin 79011 Dol Guldur Ambush 79012 Mirkwood Elf Army 70400 Forest Ambush 70401 Gold Getaway 60017 Flatbed Truck 6153 Cinderella's Carriage (Duplo) I'm sure I'm missing some others particularly from the CITY line. And while some 2013 sets were discounted other 2013s were not for some reason. I saw do…

  7. I was working REALLY hard at work, looking up all things Lego, and learned that tickets are now available for purchase from Ticketmaster for the 2017 Vancouver Brick-Can at River Rock. Tickets are $18 each plus processing and I wanted to give a heads up to the "locals" because tickets quickly sold out last year. http://www.brickcan.com/event/public-exhibition

  8. My weekly flyer shows that select Star Wars and other sets are 20% off this week. On top of that, they are doing a no tax event today and this weekend so those sets would be 33% off (20% discount plus 13% HST). RCS is one of my favourite places to buy because they often have 50% clearance prices so there may be some of those bargains as well.

Yeah so ive been watching the series 13 bags like a "hawk" waiting to pounce at the first sign of sale or clearance prices. Well i thought i was a hawk but now when i look everywhere i dont even see them for sale even at regular prices anymore. I swear i was checking a few stores which included london drugs and TRU almost daily. then one day they all got replaced by series 15. O.o and even then series 14 are almost gone from my local TRU and still no signs of sale or clearance $$ do they go that fast or was I a sleep at the wheel? Did anyone else see them on sale at all and where what province?

My father-in-law knows I love Lego and was cruising the Target at Westmount Mall in London, ON. He came across 50% off Attack of the Wargs and Shelob Attacks, which is basically what TRU.ca had as their Black Friday sale (although they backordered me and never delivered the actual sets). Anyway, I was at the Windsor location yesterday and they didn't have these on the shelves at all, and my father-in-law bought the three Wargs in London, but for those of you not in these cities, might be worth a stop at Target on the way home from work. I also think one of the bigger Creator Sets was 50% off, but he couldn't recall the name of it. Happy hunting!

I used to check the Canadian Tire website for LEGO periodically. I hadn't checked in maybe 3 weeks but this morning I found they listed a lot of LEGO on their online store. If there will be sales that remains to be seen but they have 317 items now instead of the old 30-40.

  13. Knew this was coming, but now it looks to be official. Received an e-mail today from WM that the new min buy for free shipping will be $50 starting "later this week". Not a huge deal for me, i'm usually spending $50+ per order, but then again i did make 2 $30 purchases last week (1x Arctic Outpost and 3x Wizard Battle). For those who did not get the e-mail: Update to Home Shipping Charges First, I would like to thank you for being a Walmart.ca customer. In the 3 1/2 years since our launch, we have shipped millions of items to customers at their homes and at pickup locations across Canada in an effort to save Canadians time and money. One of our p…

Hi, I just started buying Lego sets back in November after picking up some Duplos for my kids and was instantly hooked. I have been watching the Fire Brigade on Toysrus.ca 10 x day in hopes that it comes back in stock. From experience, do any out of stock items ever come back in stock on their site like they occasionally do on a amazon or Walmart, or am I wasting my time checking obsessively every day. I would love to add the Fire Brigade to the rest of my modular sets. Thanks for any information.

We will have our 2nd Technic meet and great with builders and enthusiasts of Technic or Lego in general. It will take place in a about a week or two just north of Toronto in Vaughan. If anyone is interested you can PM me. There are several people coming including @loxlego and his brother Dugald who will both be coming and I am sure they will be bringing their current builds.

Nothing really amazing...some sets are 25% off, good for personal collection/gifts if you need it soon. For some reason I like the garbage truck haha. Trying to find/use some promo codes to make the deal sweeter...if successful I'll post the promo code used. Looks like free shipping too if you spend $99, I usually just pick up at store but might risk it and have it delivered. Buying for personal use/gifts...box condition doesn't really matter unless it's destroyed. *decided to just have it shipped to my local Sears store **used promo code 941612764 to get $15 off...guess there's a purchase limit you have to meet. There might be better bonus codes…

FYI, got this email/promo today. Great savings (50% off) for annual pass both instore or online registration between Fri Nov 27 to Mon 30th. Remember with annual pass you get additional 10% off purchases in their gift shop...savings add up with those +$100 sets, pretty much pays for the annual pass itself if you buy enough. *note to Sandwraithx157, try ordering online so they can't discriminate against you for not having kids https://www.legolanddiscoverycentre.ca/toronto/news-events/news/10331/black-friday-4-day-sale.aspx

  19. Just wanted to point this out, TRU has another sale on all of the titled themes starting tomorrow. The key words are "Up to" unfortunately, so we`ll have to check the site tomorrow or wander in store to see exactly what is being discounted. Not great, but who knows, someone may be able to score something. He`s the link to the flyer.

Meh.. Will likely not be picking anything up this week, but again still nice to see the sales rolling. Remember to try CineplexHoliday for any orders!

  21. Hi all, I am new collector just getting into the Creator series. Just curious does the buildings ever go on sale? At most I think i've only see a few themes like city etc go on sale here and there from TRU or Wal-Mart. Thanks!

SSD retails $499.99, sale = $469.97 Death Star retails $499.99, sale = $469.97 R2D2 retails $229.99, sale = $202.37 Nothing too special as I was hoping for actual 20% off...but if you really wanted one (without buying/going to the US), this is the cheapest I've seen in a while for these larger sets. Saving around $30. I would have jumped on the DS if it was $399 (normal US retail). I didn't buy any myself/holding out for better deals but might pick up some ATRT $19.99 and Droid Escape $20.97.

Really nothing at all... 20% off select City, Creator, Basic and Super Heroes sets. You can also receive a free Spider-Man Glider polybag (4.99 value) when you purchase a minimum of $30. Here`s the kicker, the offer only applies to a purchase of any REGULAR priced Lego sets... and our neighbours down south are complaining about a lack of deals...

Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know (courtesy of Brickset.com) that Amazon is now selling Lego to us! Hopefully we can score some deals in the future. Here`s a link to the Lego Category.

Use promo code WeLoveDad during checkout and get 25% off any set. Pretty good for us Canadians if you need a set for collection/personal, especially newer sets...always had good experience with Indigo box condition/delivery and plus you get Plum Pts that add up. Bought one Mirkwood Elf Army for personal collection...I'm sure we can find better deals (+25% off) but I'll play it safe and just get one for myself now. Too bad Helms Deep is sold out Millennium Falcon 7965 was tempting at 25% off since I just sold my last two for over retail price. Free delivery over $25...was going to get small cottage set for my son but was a few bucks under free delivery...…
