Master mind toys has a couple sets at 40%, I think the Lone Ranger Silver Mine might be interesting to some at this price : http://www.mastermindtoys.com/2014-Warehouse-Sale.aspx?_outline=Brand--b10

Looks like Futureshop.ca has many sets at %20 off. Not amazing, but a few sets of note: Unexpected Gathering $67 MF $143 Power Armor Lex - $19 And many of the usual sets you can find at %20 off every other week. Good week for me to save my money. My recent SSD/GE purchases are killin me! TRU Canada has 20% off all Basic, Juniors, Hero Factory, and Castle. Nothing great, but one set that did catch my eye strictly for the minifig collector is Defend the Batcave. It`s an atrocious set, but the light blue Batman looks great.

Was just checking Sears.ca today to see if they had their usual %20 off and whatnot, and noticed they had some "New Arrivals". Well these new arrivals are in fact older sets. Forbidden Forest is one of them, and while it says "in stock"; once you order it says "backordered will ship May 22nd", so i don't have too much hope for the order being filled. Some of the other items seem be shipping May 1st. Anyways the other sets really aren't anything to get excited about, but figured i'd share to see if anyone else has any luck getting anything fulfilled. Sears.ca new arrivals section: http://www.sears.ca/catalog/lego-new-arrivals/11050-100003664-500002323#gui…

Walmart recently updated their online (and in store) Lego clearance to include quite a few more items. Many of the 2nd wave LOTR sets are included, and some remaining 1st wave Hobbit sets. Currently the amounts off are fairly low ($10-$20), but seeing as most of Walmart's LOTR/hobbit stock is dwindling, the prices may be the best we will see from them until they are scooped up. http://www.walmart.ca/en/toys/construction-blocks-sets/lego/******-32+2386+1005426 Unexpected Gathering is on there, and i only ever see about 1-2 at most on the shelves in the area, at only $10 off though it still feels a bit hard to pull the trigger. Weathertop is only $10 off (this s…

Alright... I'm really hoping to get a few likes for this one... I was disappointed with the TRU.ca sale, so I decided to roam the net, and I happened upon this site... http://www.playvaluetoys.com/ They have the rover available (limit 12 per customer), at 34.99 each. On top of that, they still have Uruk-Hai Armies, Helm's Deeps, Two-Face Chase and a bunch of older SW and POTC sets plus much more! Must check out! Most things are MSRP, but worth it for sets that have long disappeared! Free shipping in Canada with $75 purchase. They ship to US too!

If you are a big time airmiles collector like myself then you might want to consider a few LEGO sets that came up in the airmiles rewards. There are 3 sets and it seems quite rare that you can get LEGO direct through airmiles: Ariel's Magical Kiss- 700 airmiles Metalbeard's duel- 750 airmiles Kingdom's Joust- 1600 airmiles Best bang for the buck by far is the Kingdom's Joust when you consider 95 airmiles is about $10CDN so 1600 for the Joust is about right. 700 and 750 for the other 2 sets is a pretty inflated price.... I have enough airmiles for almost 5 Jousts so I think I will pull the trigger

I haven't had much experience selling too many things other than polybags and minifigures so I am always very surprised by how much larger items and parcels cost to ship. I always end up charging too little for shipping and my profit is almost nonexistant or I end up selling at a loss. I was hoping to create a shipping price guideline so people can refer to it for the future. This will probably change once the new postal rates come into effect next month though. Any help would be appreciated from seasoned sellers! Small bubble envelope (good for polybag or minifigs) Within Canada - $1.34 To US - $2.65 International - $5.20 Small parcel (size of Captain Ame…

It's not advertised on LEGO Shop at Home but the local Edmonton B&M have Unimogs discounted to $200 from $250. Maybe this deal extends to other Canadian locations so worth checking out.

If you need some for personal collection or gifts sooner than later, Amazon.ca has these new sets at 20% off. Obviously I would wait for investment purposes. These little sets are very cool. Also Arctic Batman is $19.86 (not a bad CAN price if you still want/need it).

My guess is that on Lego Shop @ Home, this will be the full MSRP of $49.99 so Amazon.ca is a pretty decent option to get this! http://www.amazon.ca/Everything-Awesome-Blu-ray-UltraViolet-Figurine/dp/B00ID1CEU2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1396307692&sr=8-3&keywords=the+lego+movie

Figured i'd start it's own thread. Great time to potentially grab any LOTR wave 1 sets you've been eyeing (minus maybe Weathertop). It says select sets, so YMMV. If Orthanc is included that would be great! This obviously starts Friday. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker
