I currently live in Japan and visited a merchant where I picked up the Carbon-Freezing chamber. I visited the store on a Sunday where a stock person was pulling around a cart with all of the new sets. I asked if these sets were for sale and he said "no, they will be for sale tomorrow". So I returned to the store the following day to find the sets available. I only purchased one, kicking myself now. There are currently no more for purchase. I have asked other employees by showing them a picture and they claim that they will not be getting or selling that set. I have also heard rumor that the United States may not get many or will be late to get them. Does anyone ha…

Weiss are going from Winterfell to a galaxy far, far away. It was announced today that Benioff and Weiss, creators of the smash-hit, Emmy Award-winning television series Game of Thrones, will write and produce a new series of Star Wars films. These new films will be separate from both the episodic Skywalker saga and the recently-announced trilogy being developed by Rian Johnson, writer-director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

New Corporate Alliance Tank Droid With Jango Fett. This set looks really good to me for the piece count. 271 pieces for $20? Seems like Lego is desperate for sales. The price could also be this low because it is the THIRD remake of this set. The vehicle looks good, I love the new clones and obviously, JANGO FETT! Who else is going to try to make an army of these things to go with their Pre Vizslas, Boba Fetts, Mandolorians and new Mandolorian Super Commandos?!? I'm also thinking that the Jango Figure will sell very well on his own in the secondary market, (if the Dessert Skiff Boba is any trend to go by.)

Inventorying the 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner. Help? Seems like this set appeared before the time of 'unboxing' videos on Youtube. Heck it pre-dated Youtube. I picked up a new set with broken seals. Just wondering if anyone knows how to inventory this sucker? There are two white sealed boxes, the DSS, instruction manual and quite a few clear polybags of other bits. This was before numbered bags...so any help with the clear polybags would be appreciated. And I might end up doing an 'unboxing' video after that!

Everyone has their favorite versions and it might not be the most recent. For me, I have not found an x-wing that I am satisfied with but 75136 is a really nice improvement for the Droid escape set and 75050 is a great B-Wing. I love the snowspeeder from the UCS Hoth set but will take the 75049 if I can't count a UCS version. What about you? Any definitive versions out there? How about those x-wings?

With the insanity that is the Lego Star Wars line, I'm curious to hear what you guys keep for your personal build/display collections. Last night I boxed up much of my UCS ship collection to make display space for other Lego sets (modular buildings, creator expert cars, etc) and it got me thinking of reducing and focusing my SW sets. Moreover, with my kids now coming of age where they can actually "play" with Lego sets, I'm finding myself looking more at the various play-sets and battle set groupings that just UCS "display only" options. So, how do you Star Wars Lego? Only UCS? Only UCS with caveats? Only OT? Minifig scale? Clone wars? Battle/diorama set ups? D…

With many of the Rogue One sets starting to retire, are there any that are worth stocking up on? Given the obvious OT tie-in, I'm optimistically optimistic that at least a few of these sets have investment potential (of course, if purchased at the right price). Thoughts on this list? -Low risk, safe sets: AT-ST, Y-Wing -Medium Risk: TIE Striker, U-Wing, Battle-packs -High Risk: Battle on Scarif, Imperial Assault Hovertank *Wild card: Krennic's Imperial Shuttle (probably never to see a remake?)

With the 2016 list that was leaked, what are your guys' thoughts on the impact of this set on 10215? If you're thinking it will be negative, might be time to start selling them as most won't be privy to the new list.

set 75177 : First Order Heavy Scout Walker pieces: 554 £54.99, $49.99 i wonder if this set is going to turn out like 2015's Kylo Ren's Shuttle. The LucasFilm art and images used by the Lego designers didn't show the wings extended. it looks like to me the heavy scout walker's spider-like legs should unfold for walking. thus the word, "walker" in the vehicle's name. here's a review.

Cool to start these off in the same thread? Okay... I'm just wondering... what's up with these sets? Walmart seems to be phasing them out of their stores, no stock online, they don't show up when I search "Lego Star Wars" at target.com (but you can search them individually and order limit 1), most Targets near me are out of stock, most ToysRUs near me have no stock (but can order online limit 4). Is this normal post-Christmas shortage... they'll all be stocked back up by spring?

75204 Sandspeeder This is just upsetting. It's not just about how ugly it looks or the rest of the TLJ sets. It is further confirmation that TLJ is just a reboot of Empire.

Not sure if this is old news but a Taiwanese website has some details (in Chinese) on 75187 BB-8. The packaging does not seem to have the UCS designation. http://www.loserlab.tw/2017/07/lego-75187-bb8-firstlook.html
