When you opened this, I bet you thought it might be interesting. It isn't. I suggest to The Macks that this emoticon: should be retired. E.O.L. It's cute, but the position of the eyes implies a hint of sarcasm when none is intended. I mean, I don't want people thinking I'm rude because this smiley face has an attitude problem. Seriously, I really enjoyed that thing you said. Don't listen to that smiley face guy. If you agree, roll your eyes at me. Word.

  7. Who knows... With another Indy movie is made, maybe we'll get another Lego Indiana Jones line. If SW Ep 7 is as good as it appears, another Indy movie would be nice especially if it doesn't contain flying fridges, giant ants and aliens. We prob need JJ along with Kasdan at the helm http://www.superherohype.com/news/339785-new-indians-jones-movie-confirmed-by-lucasfilm As part of their June Star Wars cover story, Vanity Fair had a chance to speak with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy about Star Wars: The Force Awakens and got her to confirm that a new Indiana Jones movie to relaunch the franchise is in the cards, although it’s not so…

Here is something I found proposed by IrishGuy66 while digging through Site Improvements and Questions a while ago: "Something that could be useful for brickpicker is online auctioning on here. Just think some investor gets a deal on a QAR so to speak, and he wants to make some quick cash, but also wants it to go to a good home. And there's also a collector on here who's been looking for that, so he goes in the auction, and bids against other collectors. You could really make a bit of an income with this for site improvement. All you have to do is charge less than eBay. Members on here are always complaining how eBay is always taking too much of their hard earned do…

So in Canada they have the despicable me minion toys now free with any happy meal purchase (or 2 bucks which is half the price of the meal lol) Anybody else collecting these? I think they're 8-10 altogether or something. I've never seen so many adults ordering happy meals in my life.. lol.

  12. Well, pretty quiet around here today. I finished updating the portfolio and the piece count crossed the 7 figure mark. Now just need to get the value to the same place, haha. Sets to do it 1089 i think. Doesn't really matter and is noteall important but what the heck. Carry on.

Ok, I have your attention. I am part of the consumer panel(me and 10,000 others), for Dr Who. They are planing a build a figure, set of figures. They look, build, style of Lego(not finished prototype images show(the survey wouldn't allow me to copy, screen print, any image)). Not sure if they are CB or Lego(they are that good). But the pictures on the survey look really good. From the questions asked, It looks like the BBC are regretting their partnership with CB. Just giving Brickpicker boy's and girl's the heads up. I need to just vent some sadness and this forum feels better than any other due to the kindness and true care that each of you have for one another. I'm newer here but come here more often than any other forum out there. Today I learned of a car accident that occurred yesterday and unfortunately took the life of one of my best friends; his wife, whom I also consider one of my best friends, is fighting for her life in critical condition. These two were awesome and cared for others before themselves in nearly every situation. It's a shame that bad things like this occur. I don't think I've been this devastated before and not to put other people I've known who have p…

This is for people who also think the LEGO company should release Military. That would be cool, because we could get official AH-64s and M1A1s and stuff. Who agrees?

Filming for the 2016 Batman/superhero movie is well underway in Toronto, Canada. Jared Leto as Joker. The downtown area, Yonge Street in particular is busy with crash scenes. Here's a picture (source by Paul Hillier on twitter & TorontoStar) apparently of the Joker-mobile - cool. Wait and see if Lego makes this car in a set.

  19. Well I buy 100's of boxes a year or so, either from Staples.com, uline.com or from a box company in Baltimore. Now it seems like Staples.com is the best place to get them, as the Quality is as good as uline.com and the price is way cheaper as Staples has free shipping. As for the Perfect box for the haunted House, Fire Brigade etc, well I got 100 of them from a box company in baltimore for $1.00 each he had 100 of them so I got all 100 but the way it looks I will need more. "But back to Staples and Uline. I ordered 25 of the 20"X16"x4" This is the perfect box for the Volkswagen camper, Friends Olivia's House, 6868 batcave, Etc. and I also ordered 25 of the 15"x12"x4" this…

Hey guys, is anyone planning on putting in some time on ESO this christmas? You know between all the bargain hunting for LEGOs... Also please don't trash talk game if you're not interested... way too many MMO forums get ugly and ridiculous. I just wanted to see if anyone is as stoked as I am. Just trying to find peeps to hang with once it releases. Not wanting any negative arguments about what is better etc. What better peeps to hang with than my LEGO friends? Regards, Cody

  22. Obviously brickpicker is the best LEGO website around, but what are your other "must read" websites for news, deals, etc? I like toysnbricks.com and thebrickblogger.com for lego news and sales. I like brickshow.tv for video reviews. What websites do you recommend?

Why on this earth would people actually bid on this thing? Lego Star Wars Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon (10179) If this goes up in the $2000+ range and someone actually tries to pay for this, I will just give up and donate my collection :P
