Why on this earth would people actually bid on this thing? Lego Star Wars Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon (10179) If this goes up in the $2000+ range and someone actually tries to pay for this, I will just give up and donate my collection :P

Why do people leave LEGOS behind? Today I was cleanning out a vacant house. I come across LEGOS! As my co- woker was about to shovel them into the trash. I Screamed " NOOOOOOOO" ran over and snatched all the legos I could find before he threw them away. So as I sit and look at the peices. To my surprize I found LEGO Star Wars Snow Trooper Army Pack (8084) complete everything box and instructions. But why would someone spend money just to leave it like trash. well now im glad proud to keep all these lost LEGOS safe and sound.

BrickUltra I'm not aware of a set that retails for 1,000.00 Maybe he is referring to sets in the secondary market?? In that case he would be surprised to learn that many sets carry this price tag.......and his mind would be blown if he saw the current market value of the 10179. Also is there a set with around 100 pieces going for 60.00?? Maybe in Europe lol

Do you think a set will ever surpass 10189 Taj Mahal in piece count? It currently sits at the top with 5,922 pieces. Essentially the question is; will Lego ever make a 6,000+ piece set, and if so, what do you think that set will be?

For all you Game of Thrones fans, citizen brick has just released a new set of custom minifigs based on the series. Check them out here: http://citizenbrick.com/collections/minifigs/products/dragon-sword-fighter-force-complete-series-plus-bonus-minifig Pretty awesomely detailed (as usual from these guys). My favs would be the White Walker, Tyrion, and Khal Drogo. I'm very tempted to get them, but $220 is a bit much for me to outlay at present on personal purchases. Sweet GRRM bonus fig as well.

Hello great people! Who is all going to this weeks awesome event? Unfortunately, I can only make Sunday and plan on checking out all the booths and spending cash on all the goodies! I remember last year it was crazy and plenty of collectibles being sold by great vendors. Anyone going or selling this weekend?

So I thought that this would be a fun little game to play while scanning the forums or something like that. Here how it works. I say a word and you reply with up to 2 words that are (obviously) related to my word. So I might say 'sun' and you might say 'star'. RULES: - Up to 2 words! No more - No name calling e.***. 'dumb', '[insert name]' - No rude, insulting or hurtful comments. - No replying to your own post (posting a word after another) I will start: LEGO

There is a Lego event coming to Minnesota and I wanted to share some information about it. It is called World War Brick. It is an event that focuses on modeling/building of historical and military models using LEGO bricks. Here is more information from the WWB About page. There will be more than 10,000 square feet made available for activities, displays, collaborations and of course products for sale from Brickmania, BrickArms, GI Brick and others who seek to expand and enrich the building experience." For anyone that has never played this before, the "Would you rather" game is where you are given a fictitious question or scenario with two different choices but can only choose one. Usually players give some sort of reason as to why they chose theirs as well. Typically not a Lego related sort of game but I have one at the moment that can be. *ahem* If given the choice between these two scenarios, would you rather.... Trade in your entire collection of Lego for a knock-off brand like Mega Bloks. OR Not be able to purchase or sell a single Lego for the rest of your life.
