I got the email to preview the black friday ad. The only lego item I saw featured in the ad was the Lego City 4440, Forest Station. On sale for the deal of the century! Only $50, down from the original retail price of $56.99! Go Black Friday Go! /end sarcasm. Black Friday is going to suck this year. I think the best deals are going on now, and maybe early to mid December. I don't even know if I'm gonna go out for BF and just save my money for Amazon's cyber monday deals.

I was just at my local Target to do a price match - $5 coupon - 5% Red Card savings on a Dragon Mountain (70403) and I noticed they had three Ninjago Lasha's Bite Cycle sets (9447) marked with clearance stickers at $17.48 The price was not quite low enough to get my to buy, but this might be an indication of what they want to clear out. I will probably check back in a week to see if there are further reductions.

I will be getting Dolphin Crusiers, If you need the 6860 Batcave you should pick some up along with the 6864 Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase, as alot of stores are out of them. CHECK OUT TARGET.COM

Saw this today.

Many People are finding the witch polybag for 50% off (2.49) and the Umbaran MHC Star Wars Poly Bag for 1.99 in Target Halloweeen Clearance. I passed earlier and now I am wondering if we should go round some up. Figured the witch wasnt that appealing and would not be too popular year round thought the MHC was a joke of a set. Am I missing something. Are you guys swooping these up without second thought.

It took me a while to calm down enough from everything so I'll try to make this short and quick to the point. Ahem.... Earlier today I went into Target and was planning on using two of their coupons (the "$5 off Lego" & "$5 off TMNT") on Turtle Lair Attack. I have made 6 on-line orders since the end of October and every single one has been screwed up. 4 of them got cancelled this week, the week before Christmas, after holding them for about 6 weeks. Then they sent me a LEGO police station that was so beat up they might as well not have sent it in a box. Finally and what pissed me off the most...I bought two LEGO town halls....they sent me ONE Mario cart wii kit..with the receipt for the town halls....think they are gonna give me crap when I show up at the store in the AM with a product I do not have a receipt for asking for a refund for two products i do not have?!?!!? Has anyone ever been denied a price match at Target bc the ORIGINAL PRICE of the item at both stores didnt match? I just was but as far as i read that requirement is listed no where in the policy, its never been an issue before, and it makes no sense as the prices are rarely the same. Soooooooo frustrating!

I just want to arm myself with some experience before I go in and do this. My wife purchased 10x Emma Horse Trailers during the 20% off sale. She did not use my RedCard and the added 5% off. It's only $10.00 plus another $1.00 in savings, but I go there 1x a week, so no big deal for the effort. Can I bring them all back in, return them and then repurchase them with my RedCard right at customer service? Or would I be able to just bring in the receipt and explain myself to the customer service rep and not have to bring in the product. Or do they just not do this kind of thing? What we know so far (per Emes and the powerful Interwebz) - Target will likely have a summer toy clearance - The start date has historically been around July 15 - Target clearance prices will range from 30/50/70% off as the sale goes on - only seasonal items get the 90% off tag now (mmmm Easter Peeps). If you buy a set at target.com and its not sold in the store, can you still return the set?

I just happended to stumble across this trinity of polybags exclusive elsewhere at Target! The Galaxy Squad "Mini Mech" was up at the checkouts hanging on a hook with the gum and other impulse buys. While the "Umbaran MHC" polybag and last year's Lego Store Halloween exclusive "Witch" polybag were on an endcap in the seasonal candy section (the area of Target where the aisle or aisles are changed with the current holiday's chocolates, candies, and other goodies). The two small polybags retailed for $3.99 while the larger Witch was $4.99. Be sure to grab these before they disappear like all the others do which is rather quickly!

Hey all, I noticed a VW T1 Camper van 10220 sitting at the bottom shelf in good condition (one crease in the front). I thought it was odd seeing it in stores so I picked it up and saw a sticker that looked like the clearance sticker except it said "online item" and was marked down to 83.99. I ended up buying it. Has anyone had similar experiences? How do you think this happened?

I was in CVS today and looked at the Sunday paper looking for the Target sale, and it has All Star Wars and Ninjago Lego sets are all 20% off.

General question. I am always surprised by how consistent Target generally is - for the most part I can walk into any store and the toy aisle layout is very consistent. That being said, as I haven't been good about hunting down clearance deals until discovering this site, I don't see a clearance area in most stores similar to Walmart's "aisle of crap" model. Where do you go to look for clearance Lego at Target? I always see seasonal clearance to check for Poly's, but haven't noticed other sets on clearance yet. In the toy section, or look somewhere else?

On my way out of Target earlier today, I happen to spot this little goodie right there in the checkout aisles. It has jumped around various countries offered up as a freebie with certain publications and seems to have now found its new home here in the states! It comes with 36 parts, 1 minifigure, and retails for the usual $3.99. Oh yeah, I already entered the set data so tough luck.

Are these worth picking up at about 30% discount?

So, the other day my local pharmacy abruptly (read: in the middle of the night) closed shop. While researching who to hire as my new dealer, I stumbled upon Target's pharmacy deal. You guys may already know about this, but it was news to me so I'm throwing it out there. Apparently, for every 5 prescriptions you have filled at Target, you get a certificate or something for 5% off your entire purchases at Target for a whole day. This 5% is stackable with red card 5%. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. But here's the fine print: this program doesn't apply to NY and NJ. FML!!!! But hopefully some of you who don't live in these 2 states can benefit.

I know this is a little off topic from normal Brickpicker discussion. Since many of us are frequenting Target stores recently for clearance deals, what is that smell you get a strong indication of when you walk into Target? I did a quick Google on it and some say it's a scent they add to the HVAC system, others think it's a mixture of popcorn and new product smell. Do you think it's an actual scent, because they really do all smell the same, for the most part? If it is a fragrance of some sort, I'm not buying it for an air freshener, soap, or laundry detergent.
