brickolodon Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I know about TRU but Target??? this is the link: http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?item=281182949626&pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item4177cf50fa&_ssn=targetstores&_sop=16 3 Quote
Diabolos80 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Good for buyers, bad for sellers... It will save me money on Target purchases at least. I pay sales tax in texas, so ebay is pretty much my only option for tax-free online shopping. Quote
blocktator Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 is it really bad for sellers? who is trying to sell current sets competing against retail stores? it looks like their ebay listings don't have free shipping either. Quote
Ronda Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 wow... Right now the prices are not great, but we'll see. Quote
emazers Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 For the Lego investors that wait til the sets retire and wait a year or so Target selling on Ebay will not affect you. Quote

akohns Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Are you saying you won't have to pay sales tax at Target's eBay store? Yeah, I don't really see how they aren't charging sales tax, unless it's just built into the list price? Quote

TheOrcKing Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Interesting, but at this moment I don't see any real savings. A little amusing how recent they started. I mean, October of last year. The Lego they have on there share prices with Amazon or Target Online. (Police Station - $84.99, Artic Batman vs Mr Freeze - $18.99, Pet Salon - $24.99, etcetera.) You have to pay different shipping prices on each of those so it's pretty much the same as ordering online as usual. Quote
Diabolos80 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Taxing on ebay is sporadic. B&****** does, TRU doesn't, sometimes, i dunno. Wishful thinking, maybe. Quote

They will be charging sales tax based on the shipping address so, unless you can have it shipped to Delaware, your savings will be nil. Pricing seems to be higher than what they have on their own site. I guess they figure one more sales outlet can only help. Quote
