Anyone ever have success with this.... Lego related or not?

Has anyone ever scanned a set at Target and have no price come up for it? I came across a Lone Ranger Colby CIty Showdown today and that happened to me. Last week it scanned at 50% off ($24.98) and today no price comes up. Does anyone know what Target's policy is in regards to this? I'm not that interested in the set (hence why I passed it up at 50% off last week) but if it is 70% off or better I will take it.

I went to Kmart today to have them price match their online price of $15 on 60003, fire emergency. They had two on the shelf and matched them with no problems when I showed them the online price on my phone. Great deal! Well, there is a target about two miles away that I decided to stop in at and try my luck with a price match. They also had two on the shelf. I took them up to the customer service desk as I have done a few other times with other sets. I politely asked for a price match and told them it was Kmart online, which is also offering free store pickup. The CS lady said that they do not price match Kmart. They only match their own website, walmart, bestbuy, amazon…

I saw a new display today at Target. It's about 20 pages with lots of sets pictured including exclusives. I tried including a pic but for some reason it keeps failing.

Besides finally finding some of Stephanie's (overpriced) Bakery Stand, I spotted this one beside it going for $3.14 I think. I can't remember exactly off hand. Anyway, I think it looks nice for a small build. You might be able to find it in the seasonal candy section like most exclusive polybags.

I know I have the receipt, but its in all of last years tax stuff and I really don't feel like digging through all that. Can Target look it up based on your purchase history on your Redcard? I can't seem to find a way to look up my purchases on the redcard online but I feel like they should be able to.

Check your Targets. Each of mine restocked exactly 3 just yesterday. Weird to say the least.

For the last week, I noticed that target.com raised the price on some higher end sets. Higher than MSRP. I know that Walmart sometimes lists sets from other sellers but target,com doesn't, right? 10188 was $429 5 mins ago but just dropped (hence the temp price cut in red). The LR train also just dropped from $129.99. 10220 (VW van) is listed at $179.99. 10224 (town hall) is $199.99 Here are some prices.

Anybody else receiving online orders with items missing. Just opened a couple large (35x20x16) boxes from them. First one was missing 2 Ninjago Garmatron 70504 sets. 2nd was missing 1 Chima Claw Ripper 70001 even thought the quantity is circled as if they verified it. Just tried calling Target but automation said they are extra busy with extra long wait times or whatever right now. Anybody know if it can be resolved in store alternatively?

I ordered 4 FB for $142.50 each with Red Card Discount last week. They arrived in a huge box that was in perfect shape shipped VIA UPS packed with air pillows. One of the FB boxes has a hole on the side panel that lists the parts. The hole is almost 2 inches in diameter and I do not see how this occured during shipping. So I called Target and they said they would gladly send me another FB but as I expected they have no more in stock. In follow up to my previous post and in hopes the discussion will not degrade into another play on acronyms for bodily functions, I share with you folks my experience this week with the coupon. As I said before, the targets around me are adamant about applying any coupons before any price matching which of course renders them useless. However I found that if you have several other items to purchase, have customer service ring you up for the whole lot, and spring the coupon on them at the last second, they forget about the price match policy and just take the coupon to avoid having to do the whole thing over. Anyone got plans to use the 20% off coupon that target was giving out yesterday? My local store will only apply the coupon before a PM so not too useful but I did note 79006 is 25.99 which comes to 19.75 with red card before tax (34% off). Does this sound good enough to bite or do you guys expect this set will be had for lower down the line? Anyone know of any better lego deals with this coupon?
