Recently I bought some Lego scout troopers from 2013 I think from eBay with a seller with 100% positive feedback. But anyways inside the helmets it has numbers 2,3,4 I just want to know if this is like an old kind of trade mark or if they are fake? Appreciate any advice .

Hi all... I was thinking about selling some pieces from my personal collection and was wondering how one goes about pricing items? I'm not talking sets... I create small displays, film logos, star wars signs... all sorts. Would I price these on a per piece basis with a bit of time on top? Or what is anyone experience with this? If any sets are involved they tend to be to add to the pieces I'm making... All of my signs and logos come with bespoke stands and I only make one of everything... any advice appreciated. Sorry if this is on the wrong place...

I have a crazy idea, to have LEGO make a Goosebumps lineup, based on the books by R.L. Stine, and hope to see this series come to life?

I have been buying sets for years that had destroyed boxes, and or no boxes (from lost and damaged shipment auctions) for years. Initially I didnt think much about the boxes (except those I paid retail for). Now I have big boxes (20x20x20), and tubs (30gal) full of sealed bags, that are sort of sorted like "City" or Start wars, or Lego movie, etc. I do have sets that are pristine that are sealed and stored in plastic tubs that are in my "collecting" group. In any case what would be your next step? Just sort them? Keep them in their bags. For example I have 6 30gal tabs, and about 5 20x20x20 boxes just labeled "City". Mix of sealed bags from everything from…

Hi folks, I seem to be having a problem with my 42009 crane mkII. I've built the main body of the crane and found that when I've wound the gear to extend the legs out only the front ones extend out for some reason and not the rear set. Problem number two is with the superstructure with all the gears. I've built it twice following the instructions. Each time with the connecting pin that goes from there to the main crane body won't turn for some reason either. I am kind of at a loss as to why it is happening. Is there any ideas folks?? Many thank

I saw where the program is ending on December 8th. My local Bricks and Minifig store sent in 400lbs of brick and got paid in just a few days. Has anyone here sent in anything. I was thinking about sending in brick seperators , mini-dolls , Chima speeder wheels , assorted wheels and tires and other weird pieces that are heavy , bulky , wont use in a MOC or wont sell on Bricklink. What do you guys think?

I bought a tub of lego at a rummage sale and it had a complete 10195 AT-OT walker and minifigs but no drop ship. Is there an easy way to order all the parts for just the drop ship with out having to type in every part number? Used parts would be best but I'd buy new if I have to. Thanks in advance.

The new Iron Man exclusive figure for the preorder of the new marvel game has been shown, and it look amazing. With the leg, arm, are arc reactor printing, it is something. Now I did put this in the question category because I was curious on what is the most efficient way to grab a few of these while evading actually ordering the game. In the past I have walked into GameStops and just asked if they had any of the figures with them (Plasticman). I once got a sole on for free but all the other times I was declined. Is there a better way?

I bought a Lego set on ebay, the one with Queen Amidala (9499). It was listed as “NIB” and “You will receive one unopened set, still New In Box.” It just arrived and to my dismay, two of the seals were tampered with. There were fingerprints, and a few very small spots at the corner where the paint didn’t line up with the image below. Also, the tape isn’t sticking at one just one end (the other half after the corner is fine). I looked at it, fiddled with the lid, and then the lid just popped right open with the tape sliding off the box, barely any stick whatsoever and no additional peel of the picture off the box. I was so worried someone jacked Queen Amida…

Hi, I've been buying and selling toys (including Lego) for several years, but always sealed sets. Well, I bought my first bulk lot from Craigslist this week and I'm not sure if I have something that I could make money on or something that was a waste of money. Hopefully you can help! I'll take pictures tonight, but wanted to get this post up now to see what the initial thoughts are. Total lot was about 40lbs and no minifigures. It was being sold by a mom who's kid(s) wanted to keep the minifigures. She included a bunch of the instruction booklets, but none are mint at all. Many have lots of missing pages, torn pages, etc. It was clearly a collection that kids pl…

ok, i mentioned it on here when the news broke about the re-release or the saturn v & ship in a bottle. have lego broken advertising laws by misleading the consumer? they have advertised a set as retiring soon, then retired only to re release it within a year? "its now or never, here is your last chance to buy these sets before they are gone forever' both these sets was advertised with this. now those who say what about taj and others etc, they are all different builds, these 2 re released ideas sets are said to be the EXACT same build? Under the Consumer Protection Act 2007, advertising is seen as misleading if it involves false, misleading …

I purchased Star Wars Captain Rex's AT-TE at GoodWill. At quick glance it seemed that all the bags were sealed and in the box. When I got home I noticed I was missing bag number 4. Is there a way to buy bag 4 or do I just need to buy the pieces individually?

The box arrived sealed so I asked him if he wanted to contact Lego for the missing bag or I would do it, or he can send it back & I will give him a full refund. He said he would contact them, now i'm thinking should I contact Lego or is it ok for the buyer to contact Lego?

Hi all, I joined this site in 2013 but have not logged in for many moons. I have a substantial collection of Lego City items from approximately 2006-2009... The flagship sets I have are 7945 Fire Station, 7744 Police Headquarters, 7993 Service Station, along with various supplementary sets. They are in good condition but used. I played with these toys as a kid, they didn't just sit on a shelf. It's time to clear out some of this stuff, I am planning to sell them on eBay. What I am wondering is, should I sell everything individually or as a lot? Appreciate any advice...

Hi everybody, Happy new year! I am new at the forum because I am looking for feedback on a idea that I have. I am working on a lego rental service for my hometown (Amsterdam). The legosets for rental that I am thinking about are the more special sets (16+ series) to attract a older target audience. I now have for rental set 10220, 10221 and 10234. My guess is that people like to rent a set so that they can build without the cost and without having to deal with the lego after they are done with it. I found out that there are many services like this (in the states) and I am curious on your point of view on this services and if you can give me feedback …

Pictures So I opened a new Lego set today (the number is 75099 for those curious) and as I started to build it, I noticed that the Rey minifig has a face on both sides of her head. I showed my mom and she started wondering if it was worth anything. And so, I fell down the rabbit hole of Lego collecting websites to see if a similar misprint had ever sold for a noticeable amount of money and didn't find anything. Tl;dr: I'm about as new to this as anyone could ever be, so be gentle.

The used Mini Modulars set I bought on eBay came with some yellowed white pieces, which happens and are easily replaced. What I found curious is over 100 of the Light Bluish Gray pieces had color variations (Light Bluish Gray vs. Light Bluish/a Brownish Hue Gray). I feel this may be normal, but probably not within a set itself. I do not think the seller did anything wrong and that is the way the set came. I ordered replacements for the Light Bluish/a Brownish Hue Gray pieces on BrickLink and three of those had the color variations too. What I am wondering, how many of you have experienced this when buying and the assembling a new set?

So I picked up a New Wotto's Junkyard in an auction on eBay a while back, planning on re-selling it for a profit. I am taking pictures of the box and I hear loose parts rolling around now... I know it's not a good sign but I am guessing I have to open it now to check it. I can't rightfully re-sell it without knowing it's complete can I. I'm thinking about if someone opens it and claims it's missing things I'd have no way to prove otherwise. There's definitely bags in there but I think one of them may have come apart. What would you do?

I notice alot of sellers are marking up there lego sets by almost 50 to 75% when there still selling for the normal price either on Lego.com, Target , Wallmart, etc etc. Are they realing feeling that people are to lazy to do research to find a cheaper price and will just desperately overspend on Ebay??

Hey, I recently purchased a sealed UCS sand crawler. Ive had nearly 25-30 brittle brown pieces break as I've built the set. Ive received replacements for a few broken pieces from older sets every now and then over the years but would lego really replace this many pieces at once? Worried about potentially getting flagged in their system.
