Picked up a New Hulk Carrier 6868 for $50 bucks. Thing is that the box is open and in terrible shape. All 3 bags are there and sealed. Instructions, comic and stickers are all there. Box got tape all around it and is torn. Do I source a new box or keep it as it is? Was thinking about a quick flip, but might end up keeping it in my Personal collection and selling it off later. What do you think?

Craigslist deal where the buyer has the stuff listed in only one area (which makes me think it's not a scam), but has some really good prices on sealed items. I found a bunch of these on clearance and, while I generally avoid Chima like the plague, 70% off is hard to pass up. The combo pack consists of Worriz Combat Lair ($69.99 MSRP) and Laval's Royal Fighter ($39.99 MSRP). 9 Minifigs and a piece count of 1067. My kids, nieces and nephews have no interest in Chima.

I am not much of a "flipper" but i am being offered this set 100% complete, with box, no instruction manual, for $120 usd, Should I get it just for flipping?

I really want to buy the Deadpool minifigure. Thus far he was only released in Wolverine' chopper show down and I don't know if he will be released anytime soon again. Is he worth the price? I would like to buy him complete with his swords and gun. Also, will his price continue to go up?

I have an opportunity to buy the Ferrari 599 GTB for relatively cheap, $100 but its missing a few pieces. Without knowing which ones are missing, thinking its a bit risky as I've heard some of these may be hard to locate. Also, the reason for buying would be to build rather than investment. Is it difficult to source some of the rare pieces in this model?

So, I have some Amazon credit that I am looking to invest. My choices are 1 VW and 1 Batcave or 1 Arkham Asylum Breakout and a random $20-$30 set. I am leaning towards the VW and Batcave, as I think the VW is closer to retirement than AAB. Any other suggestions besides the Batcave that is comparably priced? Thanks for the input.

Hello everyone, There will be a garage sale tomorrow and the advertisement lists there there will be "lots of Lego". I emailed the advertiser asking for pics and below is what he sent me. He says he found 2 instruction manuals for a 'Technic' car and 1 for a plane (I am presuming a "City" plane). There may be others but he can't be sure. I am quite new to Lego, so I can't really tell the type of sets in the lot by just looking at the pieces. Would you guys be able to identify anything good just from these pics? Hey all, I am looking at this lot for $125. It has large visible chunks of 7662, 7661, 6207, 7664, 7672, 7752, 7621, 7622, 6205, and 7673. In the other shots the sets are more spread out. Definitely in need of lots of cleaning, and judging by the boxes I'm sure lots of pieces. I get the impression the seller buys and sells lots like this regularly. He claims he doesn't sift through although I'm fairly sure that is not true. There would be 40+ minifigs with all of these sets, however only 2 Indiana Jones fig are visible. Either way, is this lot still worth the 20 minute drive? Cheers!

I may be able to get my hands on a Death Star used, no booklet or box, and it is missing pieces/ minifigures. How much should I spend, and how hard will it be to get replacement parts. I looked at it, and it looks like it is mostly there, missing the exterior shell pieces. I couldn't count the minifigures either, but I saw some of them. It was built, and a display piece.
