Posted an ad on Craigslist, and someone contacted me out of state to meet him half way, includes all these sets new sealed with the exception of 7938 the box is slightly punctured......all these sets for 650$ Good deal??? Things to look for, I'm wondering why he's selling for about half what the average of these are worth.. Lego 10237- avg. 200$ 70404- avg. 140$ 09468- avg. 140$ 06869- avg. 080$ 07938- avg. 180$ 60026- avg. 125$ 60047- avg. 080$ 60052-

So I was visiting a friend who is relocating and I noticed that he had some lego sets that he intends to sell. Since he knew I collect legos, he asked me for my opinion on the lego sets. There was a Taj Mahal fully built (no box or manuals) with some bricks that have faded. I would say the faded bricks are about 20% on one side. A Cafe corner which looks complete (No box or manuals). A Grand Carousel which looks 90% compelete (No box or manuals) and some castle set that is 70% complete. How much should I offer for those sets and tell him that they are worth?

I have around 150 in B&N gift cards remaining in my pocket, and am looking to pick something up this weekend. Any thoughts on which of these sets I should land on? The Sail Barge is *probably* the most straight-forward investment choice, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of the model. If I got either the Star Destroyer or AT-AT I could throw in a Birds with it. Thoughts?

Hey folks! I'm looking at a deal that involves around a Rubbermaid bin and a half. The ad says around 70 lbs. with no imitations. The ad also says over 200 minifigs, which I believe are the best clue as to what's in here. I had asked the seller what sets are in there, and if they have any instruction manuals. The response: "I have a couple of manuals from the prince of Persia theme. I know there's lots of Star Wars Harry Potter a couple of Indiana jones city and a large crane. Got into a local deal, a guy has a huge lot of lego about 110lbs sorted by color and put into zip bags. the lot also contain lots of manual, viking, star war, city, vintage space sets. No idea if any sets complete or not, and one major thing is the lot do not contain any minifigures. The guy asking for $5.5 / lb so about $600 for the lot. I never bought used lots like this before, so got no idea how much it worth =[ Do you guys think it's a good take? It's for resale purpose

Hey folks. I have the opportunity to pick up 2 used, but 100% complete, Chima sets: 70146 (Flying Phoenix Fire Temple) and 70135 (Cragger's Fire Striker). Both for 80.00 CDN. Only thing not included is the box for the smaller set (70135). Here on Brickpicker, these 2 sets combine for a Used value of 130.00. On Bricklink, parted out, it's anywhere between 217.30 (last 6 month sales) and 326.27 (current items). Now, the numbers look good on these, but I'm 100% green when it comes to Chima. I've dealt mainly in SW, Superheroes, and City up to now. Is there a good market for the Chima line? What do you think of this deal? Thanks in advance!

Lego Power Miners Rock Wrecker #8963. Unopened, new in box. For sale on craiglist for $40. I'd offer less. This would be a buy and hold for investment. It's a 2009 set, but maybe it's reached it's peak and flattened out on value at about $60. Or, a better way to spend $30? A local craigslister has these two sets listed. The 76013 The Joker Steam Roller is listed for $40 and the 70164 Hurricane Heist is listed for $45. I emailed the seller for a combo deal, and she came back with $75 for both. In terms of a 1-2 year hold, is that a buy? I have no idea of the value of the Ultra Agents sets. If not a 1-2 year buy, how long does one expect to hold these? Or is there a better place to spend $75 for a small-time investor? Where?

I'm in talks with someone that has a 35lb lot of Legos for sale. He's asking $275 for the entire lot. He also has instructions for about a dozen sets. This is a lot for a bulk lot, but he's got some awesome sets. Here is what he has instructions for that are included with this lot. He can't guarantee completeness. The HUGE downside for me, is that he has no minifigs for these. That's a major downside. I don't necessarily want to make huge profits off of this. I've finally got a complete set of the modulars. All my others are new in sealed boxes (Green Grocer all the way to Detective's Office). My Cafe Corner (10182) and Market Street (10190) are used and have been built once, then carefully stored. I'm looking to help price the Cafe and Market. A few details.
