Hi guys, I'm new and made my first Lego investment. I bought the 71016 for 165 euros and the 75060 for 167 euros. Did I pay to much and what kind of price should I shoot for? Tnx for all the help! Sent from my SM-G955F using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

Sounds like all of the pieces, figures are included here, also includes a shrieking shack set not pictured and about 10-15 of the small early sets in bags. He’s willing to sell for $600 which seems like a no-brainer but it’s from a smokers house and while the smell is minor, I don’t usually deal with that hassle. Thoughts?

I've got a Saturn V 21309 up for sale and I'm being offered a trade of 75189 (First Order Heavy Assault Walker) and 75190 (First Order Star Destroyer ) for it, both new. Would you take the deal? If I did it, I'd be looking to flip those sets fairly quickly.

Watching an interesting local auction and I’m trying to decide how much to risk based upon pictures. There is an 18% bidders fee on top of my final bid and I have no clue how complete these sets are. Interesting stuff including a stack of baseplates, 8277, 6195, 7722, and evidence of 6983. Maybe some MTron? Does anything else jump out at you? How much is too much to pay for this lot?

Well I received some random, unexpected news today. One of my wife's co-workers is looking to unload a sealed (supposedly) 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner. The dude is a huge SW/scifi fan that has a good chunk of his house dedicated to various collectables...sadly very little Lego. Darn. Anyways, he's looking to sell this set for a "reasonable price". The tentative plan for the Tantive is for me to head over to his place this weekend to take a look at the set and potentially make an offer (note to self: I should bring beer). Is there anything I should look out for with a set of this age? Different productions runs? Colored vs black-and-white box? What would you…

Some are complete and some have very minimal pieces missing. Almost all of the minifigures and accessory pieces are there. Instruction manuals included with all!! Cash only!

Hello, I'm looking to make my first investment in Lego. I have a budget within the $300-$700 range and I'm thinking of purchasing the 75827-1 Ghostbusters: Firehouse Headquarters from The Lego Shop. Based on the popularity of the original Ghostbusters film and how massive this set actually is, I figured this might be a nice place to start. Any words of advice or thoughts on this being a starting investment? I'd greatly appreciate any insight.

So I got into a bidding war with someone over FB market and ended up getting this lot for $100. Guy was originally asking $60. From the listing I immediately saw Black Pearl pieces (sails, hull pieces). The lot is easily 100 pounds. Quickly going through I located 2 Queen Anne Sails ( I have a full set from last bulk lot I bought) and the Angelica figure (pieces for now) so I believe there is a Queen Anne's mixed in too. Here's are some photos. Could anyone help with what other sets might be mixed in. There are no instructions or boxes. The only nearly complete set was the Mil Falcon. I was able to quickly located then Davy Jones figure but haven't fo…

Hi fellow Brickpickers This is my first post and I know in traditional forum etiquette it is pretty bad to start with a question rather than engage in a couple of other forum posts but I am on short deadline here and I would love your input. I am about to purchase my first collectors set in Lego. I figured heck, why not start with 10179 as a collectors item since it is still one of the most coveted. I have managed (after several emails back and forth) to convince a local seller to sell to me a Lego 10179 in sealed box (including brown outer box) for 2700 CDN. Now I also know that investing this late in the game in a set like this is risky but the value compared…

Hi All, I'm relatively new when it comes to dealing with bulk Lego purchases and attempting to identify the non-Lego mixed in. Is this worth $50, I can't make anything out specifically, other than possibly some Harry Potter / Kingdoms. I'm inquiring for additional images. Any suggestions / feedback is welcome. I've dealt with a couple bulk lots already, some successs and some blech... and ultimately I'm enjoying adding sets / parts to my collection for MOCing at a later time. TY for your time!

Hi all, So this would be my first large purchase and I wanted to get opinions on this. Now, seller claims all the booklets shown are complete in this lot including mini figures. Seller said they are very particular about these sets and keeping them together. Containers are included with this lot. Obviously it's all jumbled but I love sorting, I swear it's therapeutic. I know images are slightly blurry and numbers are hard to read. Asking seller for better pics currently. But let's say pieces are all there. No boxes, just booklets and complete sets. I got the seller down to $530 What's your opinions? Good buy??? Be as blunt as possible. Also any tips on wha…

Hi there, I've been looking for a a lonely mountain set for a while, but the price just seems to be going up and up. Saw this set today on bricklink, however the seller has 0 feedback. He has a few sets that are fairly collectable at rrp. Seems to good to be true to me, thoughts? https://store.bricklink.com/medvedkop&itemID=116173331#/shop?o={"itemType":"S","catID":"789"}

So tonight I made the plunge and dived into an investment purchase. Most of the sets appear to be complete with mini figs. Last purchase I made from this seller has been 100% complete sets once I took them apart and pieced back together so I am hoping to have the same luck with this set. Tell me your opinions on if I jumped into this too quick... I have a lot disassembling and reassembling to confirm all pieces are here but I am up for the challenge. Stars Wars- 8095- General Grievas Starfighter 7929- Battle of Naboo 7957-Sith Nightspeeder 6957- Ewok Attack 8089- Hoth Wampa Cave 7959- Geonosian Fighter 8128- Cades Bane Speede…

Hello all, I just recently got back in Lego with my son. I have been trolling the forums for a few weeks now and decided it was time to start interacting as I am looking at the long term investment aspect that Lego now presents. Browsing a local classified I found this post and was wondering if it worth it. Any help would be appreciated as I am still learning. Total weight is 16.4 pounds. No books. Hour drive from my place. Thanks!!!

I found a lot on Craigslist for $400 that includes a number of minifigs, complete Indiana Jones sets (instructions no boxes), and loose bricks (he claims some misc Star Wars. The lot is 15lbs. I am pretty new to this but it appears that there are some rare minifigs. Is the minifigs market good? Am I seeing a Cloud City Boba Fett? The Indiana Jones numbers are: 7623, 7621, 7622, 7199, 7682, 7198 and 7197. I know the Indiana Jones sets have enough value to pay for a good chuck of the lot (assuming they sell). My plan would be to flip most of this lot to buy sets for my personal collection.
