I hope this is the correct forum for me to post this in. I am in search of 3 Los Angeles based Lego Enthusiasts/Builders for a video project I'm working on. The final video would be featured on a new website Legos is launching soon. What's in it for you? Free Legos, a little cash, and possible internet fame!! If interested please PM me for more info. Thanks! -Marcus

Two separate things here, first I am surprised at how many people post pictures on Insta and FB of their "FLego", that's what they call it, fake lego builds. There is an amazing MOC that requires 2 1/2 Rivendell that I was looking at building, but even if not buying the minifigures you are looking at $1K if buying Lego. Also, the Titanic seems to be a big target for fake Lego and most of the UCS SW ships. I haven't looked at this in years so had no idea how prolific it had become. Quality with numbered bags seems to be way up based on reviews and prices are way down with new "official" stores offering purchase options in the USA. Printed instructions and even real "Lego"…

Not trying to start a fanboy war, but what do you use. I feel this has some relevance with eBay. I personally just made the purchase of a Mac Mini, and made a killer spreadsheet on it. I have not realized I am in far to deep... eBay isn't great on it, but I like it nonetheless. Also, I have a Galaxy S3, so I'm not an Apple guy all around.

This has to be the quirkiest crossover in the history of ever that I feel surprised didn't happen sooner. April's issue of MAD Magazine will be very Lego related featuring the classic Alfred E. Neuman as a minfigure. Via The Brick Fan

Which one of you is this? http://www.ladbible.com/news/weird-man-arrested-after-50000-of-stolen-lego-found-at-his-house-20180502 A man was arrested in Portland, Oregon last Thursday after having been found to have $50,000 (£37,000) worth of stolen Lego in his house. 40-year-old Raji Afife Azar stands accused of stealing huge amounts of Lego and then selling them on at a huge mark-up online. He was finally arrested after he allegedly bought about $13,000 (£9,600) worth of stolen toys from undercover investigators, according to a report on local TV station KGW8. From darkhorizons.com Just moments ago, filmmaker Zack Snyder and veteran actor Harry Lennox took to the stage at Warners' Saturday Comic Con presentation to confirm the news from a few hours ago that the "Man of Steel" sequel will feature Batman. Lennox read out the quote: "I want you to remember Clark, in all the years to come. In all your private moments. In all the years to come, my hand at your throat. I want you to remember, the one man who beat you" Immediately after, up came a silver "Man of Steel" logo with a Batman logo behind it. NO mention was made at the panel regarding the OTHER rumor that emerged this morning - that we'd get a "The Flash" film i…

Just received delivery of a DS 10188, my first set. While inspecting the box, I noticed two things on the inner box that came with my set (the one that has LEGO's brand and the words TOY repeated all over the top). First it says "Death Star v140". As a programmer, I'd say that means this is the 140th version of the Death Star? Secondly, the label also stated the manufacturing date, which from 1403 means March, 2014. This is just extra info, but I'm not sure if it gives any hints. Mods, I'd appreciate if you would kindly merge this to the appropriate thread if it has already been discussed before. Thanks!

Maybe I missed something, but does anybody know what the second early access set for May is going to be? Ninjago docks? Bugatti? Lame BrickHeadz? Obviously one is the Rollercoaster, but it’s been pretty quiet on what the 2nd set will be. Early access starts the end of tomorrow at midnight correct?

So in Canada they have the despicable me minion toys now free with any happy meal purchase (or 2 bucks which is half the price of the meal lol) Anybody else collecting these? I think they're 8-10 altogether or something. I've never seen so many adults ordering happy meals in my life.. lol.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but the thought of a Despicable Me theme crossed my mind. I really love the movies and watched the first one the other day. I think it would certainly be different to say the least. But LEGO Minions! What could be any better?? Thoughts??
