I received this display case as a gift a few years back and just got around to finishing it. If I remember right, the case itself is less than $20 at walmart. Throw in some bulk Lego, and some velcro (hook portion) and you have a pretty nice display case. The stands are made using 4 stud deep plates. Currently, my case holds all of my unique LOTR and Hobbit figures. I hope this inspires someone.

Dumb question: Has anyone tried returning opened minifigure polybags to a store (Wal-Mart, Target, Toys R Us, etc...)? The reason would be the truth: I didn't get the minifigure I wanted. Is there a written policy somewhere about this?

I was wondering if you can remove the heads of the figs to replace the capes? I noticed a lot of these have frayed capes.

In my quest for Batman 1 figs, I have noticed that the hair of two face is usually missing paint. Most have white spots in the black portion. Are these printing mistakes or just wear from being older?

Looking the figure up, is the only rare piece his torso? It looks like you can get his cape and cowl from the Batman in the Joker's Funhouse. Am I correct on my assumptions?

I want to bring awareness to the horrible practice of Minifigure Mutialtion (MM). This needs to stop! It pains me when I buy a bulk lot and minifig after minifig are missing hands, arms or are completely dismembered. These poor toys have been through enough. My rehab clinic is bursting at the seems trying to find right arm for the right torso. The right legs to the right hips. I think as a community we need to stand against MM. Even plastic people are people too.

I usually get most of my minifigures from Target because they seem to be the only consistent source in my area. They also seem to randomly get in past series. I just picked up two Series 8 figures yesterday, last week I found a case of movie figures and a few weeks ago they got in 2 cases of Series 9. Something I've noticed is that Targets with certain layouts seem to get the minifigures. We have two types of Targets in my area, one where the Toy Section is immediately on your left when you walk in the store, and the other where it's in the back middle of the store. I've NEVER seen minifigures at the first type, only at the second type. I'm just curious if any on…

Hello all, I have been looking on google for a nice decal for JL Picard but have not any luck in finding a decent one. Does anyone have one they want to share? Thx!

I was wondering when this started. Specifically, I have been buying what I was told were authentic Batman and related minifigures off of ebay. I have had no real reason to doubt anything until I got 2 from the same year: a 2006 Gray/Black Batman, and a 2006 Nightwing. The Batman does not have a foot stamp, but Nightwing does. I'm wondering if the Batman legs are not genuine, or if the Nightwing ones were newer legs added to an older torso (or a counterfiet one). Does anyone have any info on when this practice started, and/or if all authentic parts have a stamp (or if it depends on location of production)? Thanks.

I know I can get them online but I'd like to be able to walk into a store and find them. I have been to BB Walmart, Target, TRU and KMart and can't find them. Who sells these?

Hi, I just completed a trade for the big purple Hulk fig and I should get it by the end of next week. With all of these fakes being out there, could someone with a lose one tell me where the "lego" logos are on him? Just want to make sure.

I'm not too sure if this has been discussed yet or not, but I've been quite a big fan of those 16 minifig cases sold at TRU. I've got a few complete series sitting up in the cases and recently picked up a lot more. I heard rumors that TRU is discontinuing these cases and as far as I know, is the only place that carries them. Is anyone else really interested in these cases as well? And has anyone else heard of these rumors?

My two boys will play legos all day long (and I do mean ALL day long!). They love the little people and so I was wondering what is the best way to get the little guys. I have found a few of the blind bag packs (from the Lego Movie), but everywhere is now sold out and I spoke with our local Lego store at the Mall of America and they said they won't be restocking. Also, does anyone know if there is an "easier" way to get a Vitruvious figure for my kids? I don't want to buy a huge set just for a small little guy, and it didn't appear that he was available in the blind bag packs. And as far as the "Ninjago" series goes, do you know if the snake villains fro…

Other than big box stores..Walmart..toys r us..target..Kmart......what other stores sell Legos or minifigures? And how weird is it that I just bought 33 packets of series 9 minifigures from target the other day? They were stocked in a lego movie sidekick display but I noticed the different color packaging so I picked them all up

Hi everyone, New in town, and am seeing this phrase used a lot. My guess is that an "exclusive mini-figure" is a mini-figure that is only available in 1 set. Is this correct? If not, please set me straight! If so, how does one find out whether a mini-figure is exclusive? Thanks! D

Hi, I am just looking for some clarification on the issue of the LEGO stamp not being present on a poly bag Hulk figure I have opened. I have seen a few posts that mentioned LEGO sometimes produces these promo figures and others, such as the CFM line, in China and that they are of lower quality and do not have a LEGO stamp. If I'm understanding this correctly I must say I am shocked and worried that I cannot prove that these figures are genuine unless I have kept the bag/wrapper. Any clarification on this subject would be appreciated.
