I was thinking that it would be beneficial to consolidate all the minifig series polls into one. 3/4 of the first page of the minifig thread is occupied by pinned threads. I think 1 thread with all the polls would be better....thoughts?

Figured this site needs some more minifig discussion. I have started collecting some of the rarer minifigis and I have come across this fig (haven't bought it). Is this the most expensive batman figure (excluding sdcc). Looks like the figure itself sells for around $100. Is there a reason why this fig is worth so much? The figure is worth about 3 times Killer Croc.

Lego Yoda Chronicles has an exclusive minifigure. Its gotta be the 6th or 7th one we've seen recently. Thoughts on it? Here are the pictures of the minifigure. Link to where I found out: http://brickultra.com/lego-yoda-chronicles-book-with-exclusive-minifigure/

Hey all I'm a newbie on here, from uk. i've collected every minifig from series 1-10 (except mr gold) plus team gb ones and also have the soldier thats a one off, only one i need is the mr gold, which i don't think ill fork out for until it comes down abit if it even does. im curious what to do at this point if i should sell the complete sets or wait out and get mr gold and collect another few series? i don't think the complete series will make as much as selling separate?, do you think at this point lego can keep the series going/ popular? i just have a feeling the next 10 series may not be as popular, and wonder if selling now might be the best thing to do w…

Hi All, I was reading the Kickstarter project for the man who wants to produce Solid Silver Minifigures, and in the description of the process he explained that "The original minifigure relies on the elastic deformation of the ABS plastic for assembly. As older figures age, they will develop cracks along the bottom of the arms and the sides of the torsos from repeated expansion" Does this mean that all our minifigures, even pristine ones still sealed in packets are going to eventually expand and crack? Makes me think twice about buying older minifigs for my collection.

Does anyone else notice the strange smell that comes from CMFs? It almost smells toxic. I hope this is not a trend that will continue as more parts are being made in China.

Just wondering what minifigure people were hoping to be developed. I'm hoping for more X-men such as Iceman and Strom.

Here is a greedo I came across. Are his arms cracking or is this just how the mold was for the fig?

I just posted a blog entry about this and was going to make a coinciding post when it came out, but I had no time yesterday! http://community.brickpicker.com/blog/12/entry-179-lego-minifigure-storage/ I'm really interested how you other minifigure collectors store your collection, so this is the thread to share! Please post pictures!

Hey guys, Roman Commander aside, which other minifigures from series 10 would work as army builders? Female warrior, tomahawk warrior and revolution soldier would be my picks and I think that you could put some baseball players together and complete a team. Would an army (or a team) appeal to someone out there? Cheers!

We haven't had a non-investing thread in a while, and this is just to spice things up! Do you prefer the old (1999-2006/7) minifigures over the newer (post Clone Wars I guess) ones? Although there are some classics like old Jabba, Bib Fortuna and old Yoda that are superior to the new figs, I think that I prefer the new ones because of more detailed printing and accuracy. One downside of the new figs is that they crack, break, and scratch more easily than the classic figs. You can factor price, detail, piece quality, and quantity produced of the minifigure into your answer.
